We had many heavy suitcases there are many steps to the entrance, no one to help although we arrived before reception closed, normally would have some men to help luckily the reception opened the back door and we were abled to park on hotel only one place outside the hotel on the street so we could trolley the suitcases inside and she kindly upgraded us to the suite room on the ground floor enabled us to trolley in easily, otherwise we wouldn’t like to imagine how we will get into the hotel with all the suitcases to the room from their private parking which we paid below! When we left, there were men helpers.

Only one choice of normal loaf bread in the package which we have to ask for the exact piece from the counter as it is kept behind counter. Can ask for ham, salami and eggs, but not buffet style, only cakes, fresh fruits, yoghurt, tea, coffee are buffet.

A Perfect Stay in Siena Our experience at this hotel was fantastic from the very beginning. Communication before our arrival was excellent, ensuring a smooth start to our trip. Upon arrival, we were delighted to be surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite! The room itself, while simply decorated, was beautiful and impeccably clean. Breakfast was a delicious daily affair, offering a fresh and plentiful selection. The staff truly made this hotel exceptional. They were all incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. A small detail that speaks volumes - they not only offered valet parking but also retrieved our car and brought it back to the front upon check-out, saving us valuable time. The location couldn't have been better. We enjoyed idyllic views and the convenience of being just a short 10-minute walk from the bustling main square. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a wonderful stay in Siena!

Nothing, everything was great!

Fab, fab, fab! Absolutely fantastic communication. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive and took the time to give us a map, tips and info about the city to ensure we made the most out of our stay in beautiful Siena. The room was immaculate and we enjoyed spending time on the terrace, taking in the magnificent view with an aperativo (the photos don’t do it justice - it is absolutely stunning)! If you are booking for Siena, you must book this incredible place!

That we couldn’t stay for longer!

From the moment I entered the hotel I felt so comfortable because the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Anisa at the front desk was so knowledgeable about the history of Siena. The breakfast area, the terrace was fantastic with gorgeous views of the city and the surrounding area. Breakfast was great and plenty of food. The hotel is very close to the city, very walkable and yet away from the hustle bustle of the town. Very tranquil, clean, captivating accommodation. I would definitely, definitely recommend Villa Del Sole Siena to everyone.

I loved everything about the property

The Villa del Sole was excellent. Couldn't fault it at all. The staff from the moment we booked on-line through to check were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The villas location is fantastic, only a 2 minute walk to the Piazza del Campo. The view from the breakfast terrace is stunning. Very knowledgeable about the local area and history and always willing to answer questions. They obviously love their town and are very passionate about it. Brilliant all round. We will be back. Thank you, everyone, at Villa del Sole.

Nothing really,

From the moment we entered the hotel, we felt welcomed. Our room (#2) was modern with a well functional AC & the same view as their photo with the breakfast table. Their staff treats you like a family member, making sure you feel comfortable at all the time. If you come by car, they park it for you at the hotel property 20 yards, it's cctv monitored, accessible all the time & worth the money. The location must be the best in Siena, no car needed, 5 min walking to every major site. After 40 years of traveling around the world, the Villa del Sole was one of the most memorable stays we ever had.

That we eventually had to leave 😕

The location is perfect for Siena, a short walk to all the main sights and exceptional views of both the city and the surrounding hills. All of the staff were delightful, nothing was too much trouble, perfect levels of service and information. Breakfast selection was both delicious and plentiful and additional availability of drinks, snacks throughout the day were not expected at this B&B hotel, but a very welcome addition.

The view alone from the terrace makes this hotel worth the price. Add on the delicious breakfast, friendly and attentive staff, great location and the proximity to some of the best restaurants in Sienna, this hotel provides more than you can ask for. After a day exploring the vineyards of Tuscany, my wife and I shared a bottle of Brunello that evening on the terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside. It was a truly special occasion made possible by the hotel's wonderful staff.

Absolutely nothing. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Spend as much time in Sienna as you can, it is a truly unique place.

Totally original heritage building, big bedrooms with modern bathrooms, close to everything. Gorgeous location on the edge of the city. With wonderful views of the city and out to the Tuscan landscape. The outdoor patio and breakfast location Bellissimo. All staff friendly and informative, but especially the receptionist whose knowledge of Siena was amazing. She also whipped up 2 beers and a charcuterie plate for two weary travellers on our arrival

V pretty hotel just outside the very heart of Siena which is good at it provides a view of the town/city from below and also a view out over the countryside yet a very close walk to the centre (10 mins). Lovely and peaceful (always the occasional noisy motorbike or reveller in European towns!). Breakfasts were adequate for a small hotel - verging on good B&B. I found the bed a bit hard - my wife thought it great. The bedroom was good size - not large but not small. Bathroom very modern and clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful - top marks there. We had a lovely three night stay! Would certainly recommend to a friend.
