Elena and Fabio are exceptional hosts. Their staff are all friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Our room looked out over the garden and lake, and we used the balcony every evening. We used the hotel bikes and were given help in planning a wine tour and a day out across the lake using the ferry. Sirmione is a beautiful place, I'm so glad we chose hotel Catullo for our visit.

There was nothing we didn't like but hadn't realised we could have stayed at the hotel for dinner. We were there out of season. Some info in the room would be really helpful

although the rooms were fairly basic they were spotless. the owners couldn’t do enough for us, Fabio even took us in his own car when we couldn’t get a taxi to our parking lot outside of the town. the restaurant served the best meal we had on our vacation! staff were super friendly and the hotel had little extras like cocktail evenings, sunset boat trips wine tastings all free for hotel guests. cocktail bar is really funky. it was also in the centre of town so walking distance to everything the town had to offer. I will definitely be back!!

Fabio and Elena are excellent (as were all the staff)-very low key but always available, super helpful. Hotel breakfast had excellent selection, even gluten free and vegans well catered for. Some free activities were provided which is a very nice touch. Ferry stop is less than 5 mins away. Overall a clean, quiet (despite being so central) hotel with a pretty garden. They clearly take a pride in ensuring guest needs are met, even providing umbrellas for changes in weather. Added bonus points for resident dog Phoebe who is super calm, well behaved and discrete and can be spotted snoozing in various spots in the lobby throughout the day. A cute, well run hotel-would recommend-the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of Sirmione.

The location was fantastic! Lakeside location with a wonderful private jetty from which you can swim in the lake, which we did! Breakfast was excellent, our room was spacious and with stunning views onto the lake. Customer service was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautiful and has a stunning rooftop garden, along with a varied outside area to sit in. This is truly one of the most memorable locations we have ever stayed in and would highly recommend it to anyone. We sincerely hope we shall be fortunate enough to come back and visit Sirmione again and would not hesitate to come back to the wonderful Hotel Catullo. Thank you so much for looking after us.

Wonderful stay from start to finish. Free Car parking was arranged by the hotel, with easy instructions of how and where to find the Xar Park. We transferred to the hotel via a shuttle cart, which took us through the pedestrianised town. We were met by the very lovely hotel management. Booked in and shown to our room,which overlooked Lake Garda and beautiful houses & restaurants. Breakfast was extremely well laid out and the choice was superb 👌 10/10 for breakfast.

Nothing not to like about Lake Garda and Hotel Catullo. Would definitely return and stay at this hotel again.

Gorgeous property in central Sirmione, perfectly located lakeside and surrounded by excellent dining and wining options. The character property sits beautifully in the old town and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay inclusive of a superb lakeside setting. The amazing staff are the biggest asset, friendly and welcoming with care taken to help you make the most of your stay. We were so grateful for wet weather options and local recommendations - it helped us make the most of our stay

A brilliant trip without any downsides. Be aware it is a continental breakfast with plentiful choice but not a ‘brits abroad’ type fry up. Gorgeous gardens and outdoor facility but do watch out for bugs (obviously not hotel specific!)

Fantastic location on the lake - you can swim in the lake from the deck, and right in the middle of town. Easy parking out of the town with electric car to take you back and forth with your bags. Staff were absolutely amazing and they work very hard, they seem to have eyes everywhere but always helpful and cheerful. Housekeeping fab as well. Helped with trips out and they have bikes to borrow. Great cocktails but did not stay long enough to try them all. Breakfast buffet with lots of choice. Rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need. Lots of repeat guests and I can see why. Great hotel x

Decor a bit dated but this is personal taste.

Hotel Catullo is a jewel. There are certain places that are more than just a Hotel, they embody a spirit which imprints a memory into your heart, this is one of those places. The owners and the staff were incredible. Going above and beyond what is needed and demonstrating that they really care about your well-being. This was our first time here, and we hope to come back many more times. Thank you everyone at Hotel Catullo for making this a magical week.

The first thing was the lovely friendly welcome and then the wonderful location. Our room was clean and large with a lovely balcony . The hotel gardens were a lovely place to sit both shade and sunshine with a bonus of a deck with sun loungers that gave you a great view. Nothing was to much trouble and all the staff was very friendly down to the lovely lady who made tea and coffee for breakfast.

To be honest nothing . I cannot think of a negative.

Went to the island for a day visit viewed the hotel and stayed for the night and watched the sunset on the private pier with a few g&t's. Followed by a beautiful breakfast in the morning. Staff were more then accomodating and pleasant couldn't of asked for more. My partner forgot his back at breakfast and the well dressed man at reception (forgot his name) chased after us in his push bike! 10/10 amazing place to stay
