The location is just a short walk from the center of town and the cable car that heads down to the beach. The room was very spacious and even though there was a road right below our room on the 2nd floor the room was very quiet.

Pictures of what a ocean view is can be a little deceiving if you do not know the area (but I put that on me for not researching better). You do see the ocean but the hotel has other buildings in front and the main view is more of rooftops and the road in front of the hotel... not a major issue for us but just something to be aware. Also the "hair dryer" in the room is a hose thing attached to the wall that my wife had a good laugh at when we saw it luckily she had her own.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was good. Walking distance to most things/areas

I did not like being on the second floor. Our view had a partial view of the ocean but it seemed like the vegetation around the property was overgrown and could have used a good cleanup. The walls are not soundproof. Unfortunately, the unit above the people were very loud and could make out their whole conversation. Also, the shower was constructed poorly. Narrow showers and every time you showered water would go all over the floor. Has to lay down lots of towels to soak it up.

Breakfast was very good. They also prepare omelette upon request with no charge. Staff very polite, both at front reception desk as well as at the breakfast room. Room was superb! Very spacious, modern with all the comforts. Balcony was also nice with the mini garden and the chaise longs.

I believe it’s lacking a swimming pool. Also breakfast, best that it runs until 10:30am. Although the bus station is less than 10 min away on foot , if you carry heavy luggages it is still rather difficult to reach there. Ideally, the hotel should offer a concierge service that would drive your luggages to the bus station need be ( taxis will refuse the ride as bus station is too close to the hotel).

A renovated clean hotel with nice sea view. Great location, very conveniently located close (walking distance) to the key highlights of Taormina, shops and the upper entrance of the cable car. Staff was attentive and friendly willing to share information and highlights about the area. Whenever we asked for assistance it was happily provided. The room we got was spacious and comfortable. There is a public parking adjacent to the hotel but if you want a private one to guarantee a spot, the hotel can easily arrange. Even though the breakfast is basic, its tasty.

No natural ventilation for the bathroom. The main road goes just by the hotel that can result a bit noisy.

Our room was on the highest floor, right under the restaurant and each evening until midnight we heard the sounds of squeaking chairs being moved at the tables. Also one of our balcony doors wasn’t getting fully locked and due to that it was quite noisy from the cars passing by. Even though we reported this issue on our arrival it wasn’t solved over the course of our 3 nights stay despite being told that it will be handled the very next day.

The staff is very kind. We were allowed to check in early. The room was fabulous, very modern and clean. The location is great - right next to the funicular that takes you down to Isola Bella. Also highly recommend checking out the restaurant on the roof - amazing food and cocktails!

The A/C could not keep up with the heat, but this is understandable as it was the middle of a heatwave with 39 degrees outside.

Location was excellent. Rooms were large and comfortable.

When we arrived reception said that they did not know the cable car was not working. We parked our vehicle at the bottom of the cable car and had to take a taxi to the hotel. I find it impossible that reception didn't know the cable car had not been working as this was the case for most of the winter. On top of this they did not know the schedule for the Shuttle bus to the parking lot. I'm not sure if anyone knows this.

Perfect location which was 10 mins from everywhere we needed to go. Good air conditioning. Hotel staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help us feel comfortable. Nice restaurant on the top floor.

The walls are thin and we could hear our neighbors in the next room. The breakfast was a little disappointing and probably wouldn’t book breakfast next time.

windows could use a form of soundproofing (the street that takes you to old city center passes roght in front of the hotel) the room was very clean and the sheets spotless, but the bathroom (especially the shower) could use a little more attention

We liked the location, the cleaning, the size of the room and the terrace, the bathroom was also very big and relaxing, the view is very nice. The staff was helpful. Overall great place to stay in Taormina.

The only downside was the noise from the street but if you sleep with earplugs, you are good. :)
