A charming boutique hotel Aquamare in the centre of Venice, very close to St Mark's Square and a few steps from the gondola services. Rooms decorated with great attention to detail, beautiful and always spotlessly clean. Breakfast served indoors as well as on the lovely terrace. The hotel has an additional beautiful roof terrace overlooking the Campanile. A big plus is the honesty bar available around the clock for guests. The hotel is run by two delightful sisters who take great care of their guests and make you feel at home. You certainly won't find a better place in Venice than B&B Aquamare. The location is perfect. It is very close to the water (to get transportation) and close to restaurants The breakfast was amazing and made to order. I loved sitting outside on the rooftop looking at the water. The room was small, basic and comfortable. The bed was initially made only with a sheet and we were chilly. We requested a blanket and after that it was perfect. (I am not sure if they forgot the blanket by accident or if that was normal as it was very hot outside). The owner/hostess was so informative. She helped with directions to the location and was just pleasant to deal with.

Great location and very central to all bars restaurants boat stops and sight seeing. Breakfast was nice, dining area was relaxed atmosphere and on the roof top terrace. Room was clean and spacious.

We had stayed for 5 days and the room could have benefitted from a fridge and additional storage for clothes. There was no iron available when requested. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together so has a gap in the middle under the sheet so was not that comfy. Air con was in the room but was at times still quite warm.

The location of Aquamere was perfect because it is just round the corner from St Marks square and yet retained a quiet and relaxed atmosphere away from the crowd. The breakfast was first rate and we enjoyed the roof terrace breakfast area. I also found the host Margareta to be very welcoming and knowledgeable. She looked after us and provided tips and advice when requested. The second roof terrace was a lovely area for afternoon coffee and biscuits and overlooked the rear or the Doges palace. The rooms were nice. Beds very comfortable and I would recommend.

Would have liked milk for tea and coffee in the room.

This hotel enormously exceeded our expectations in location, breakfast and room. Laura and Margharita are excellent in their communication, friendliness, and warmth in welcoming us and the staff. I wanted to surprise my wife for our anniversary and they gladly jumped to the task at hand by offering fantastic suggestions, which she loved at the end. Location is perfect and a walking distance to everything you can think of. We will always pick Aquamare over any hotel any day!

Nothing. Locating it is perhaps an adventure in a maze, so would advice for a signpost. However, you still get detailed email from them for directions.

location is fantastic as near the main square, all travel options like the water taxi, train stations and gondola’s are nearby. it’s a very cute b&b with a lot of thought and care gone into it to present it in a very beautiful way. The host was amazing with email support pre our arrival and during, guided us where to go, what to see, booked our taxis, really nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is upstairs and fairly good choice on offer. we upgraded to the deluxe room ( green room ) and it was spotless, lovely shower with good water pressure.

I wasn’t aware the accommodation was on the 3rd floor - this isn’t in the main description and it should be as my partner has a bad knee and I would have taken this into consideration when booking. The room doesn’t have usb electric ports and the TV isn’t a smart Tv. also, the tv can’t be viewed from the bed, you have to sit on the sofa to view it, we do like to watch tv in bed but I guess this is a personal preference. our room was a once a bar so we had a few noisy nights which we didn’t appreciate especially when we upgraded to a deluxe room. this noise went onto midnight.

everything went well from the moment of our arrival until our departure. we were greeted by margherita who welcomed us with open arms and who provided much helpful advice on how to best enjoy venice. the location of aquamare b&b was excellent. i cannot imagine a better place to stay in venice and, believe me, we walked past several dozen hotels and other lodging accommodations which didn't come close to what is provided at aquamare b&b

there is not one thing we didn't like about aquamare b&b. the staff, the food, the accommodations, the location were above and beyond our expectations.

Everything was perfect. We had booked without knowing the area or much about the property, but it could not have been better for our stay. Central location, great for visiting all the different areas and sights. Great access for transport links. Quiet and peaceful yet right in the heart of the city. Such a beautiful well kept property.

this place is a gem, honestly the location could not be more perfect. if you want classic contemporary this is the place. it’s light and airy. the air conditioning units are quiet and I found leaving them on throughout the night did not give me a sore throat or disturb my sleep. Margarita is such a lovely host. She helps you when you need her and is contactable after ours also. it was our first wedding anniversary and she organised exactly the bouquet or roses I wanted in the room when we arrived with champagne. The message I wanted on the flowers was spot on. she organised a water limousine to take us to Murona at the time and date we wanted it. breakfast is continental and fresh. remember your in Europe and not in England The steps to the place is up three flights and that is on the description. you get used to it and itself is not bad. if your looking for a charming place to stay with character this is the place to book
