Booked this after comparing many other reviews and wasn’t disappointed. From the second I booked the hotel were so responsive answering my questions and giving me advice prior to our trip. I booked the room for 2 adults and 2 children and asked for an extra bed in the room which they confirmed straight away. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect, literally a 2 minute walk from arriving from the airport by water taxi. The breakfast was really lovely and had a perfect selection. I marked down the facilities simply because the lights in our room were temperamental and we couldn’t get movies on TV but it didn’t bother us as we only wanted to watch something with the kids before bed but they had you tube on there anyway.

Breakfast was great. There were many options to choose from , bacon, eggs sausage. Personally pancakes are my favorite! Fruit, pastries, cereal, toast. Definitely a great bonus and so much easier than having to look for places to have breakfast each day.

Honestly, we couldn’t fault anything. If we had to choose one thing, it would be that the room was quite small, however we did know that it was so we weren’t worried about that. After all, the purpose of our vacation was to be out and about and that’s exactly what we did.

Many thanks to Rudi the Concierge who was very friendly and helpful and made sure we were looked after - very attentive. Location is great - a short walk down an alley from the waterfront where we arrived from the airport. Rooms are ok size and clean. All staff very nice. Location fabulous as within minutes you are in st marks square and the shopping, other touristy sites. Buffet breakfast was great - hot and cold food. Good value for money. We wouldn't normally stay at a hotel with this star rating but was a recommendation from a friend who raved about it and they were right.

Rooms don't have a lot of storage so lucky we didn't pack much. Air Con wasn't working when we were there although the lovely concierge got us a fan and also a mosquito plug in repellent.

Location was close to St. Mark's Square and a very short walk from the water bus landing which made convenient to take our luggage. The breakfast was nice with a variety of choices and the man who welcomed us was very friendly, kind an gave us amazing restarurant options. I would highly recomment this hotel, it was really nice, clean and modern and fantastic location.

The location of the place was amazing. Very close to the waterbus, San Marco square and many small shops near by. Also great places to eat nearby for a fair price. Staff was also super nice and breakfast was really good! The hotel is new and everything looks very modern.

If I must say something: the cleaning of the shower corners could be a bit better.

great location 5 min walk from san marco sq and 1 min from the feries. helpful staff. good breakfast. spacious comfortable room. 35 min walk from the train station.

abit noise from the road but guess that would be in most hotels in venice. but quiet after 2230. vegetables in breakfast would be nice too. plenty of fruit and great cakes though :)

This hotel went beyond our expectations! The location couldn't be better, the room was fantastic (and quiet), the breakfast was fresh, and with everything one needs, the reception was friendly. It was just perfect! We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in Venice!

There wasn't anything that I could negatively critique this hotel on! It was great!

Very central location, perfect for visiting all the sights, all within 2-10 minute walk. The room is very large and modern, very clean, ample storage room and the canal view is a bonus. My wife is a light sleeper but she managed to get a good night's rest because the hotel is very quiet. The breakfast was sufficient, enough to start the day with. The staff, especially Francesco (the manager) was very accommodating and helpful with everything. He gave us a list of restaurant options, which we tired and really enjoyed.

The only dislike was that the bed was too hard for us. This was only a minor point to an excellent stay.

we loved staying outside of st Marc’s and walking 5 mins to the Doge’s palace. it was a perfect spot with the lagoon 1 minute from the front door. there were beautiful restaurants and shops winding through the narrow streets right outside the hotel. And the staff were so helpful. accommodating our very late check in with ease. The breakfast was the perfect way to start the day before exploring Venice. we loved all of it! thank you Maison Ducal. xo
