Breakfast was tasty with some lovely & crunchy croissants, staff was helpful, hotel overall was clean and had an awesome location. It was a great stay.

The hotel is in a great location. Five minutes to Rialto bridge and 10 minutes to St Marks square. Staff provide a good map, good information and breakfast is plentiful. The pretty street on which the hotel is situated has lots of good restaurants, fast food outlets, ice cream shops and a supermarket. You have everything you need close bye. Tip for getting to the hotel when you disembark the boat at Rialto when arriving from the bus or train station. Turn left back towards the bridge, walk down the street on your right in line with the bridge until you reach a small square on your left with a statue in the middle. Walk past the statue and take the tunnel on the right, bearing left then right past the ice cream shop and over the bridge. Then take the street ahead just on the right, immediately past the pizza restaurant you’ll see the red signage for the hotel 100 mts areas.

No water provided in rooms unless you pay although you can drink the tap water. Wasn’t easy to find but no issues once you know where it is. No lift although I was ok as only only the 2nd floor and had a small bag so no issues. Tip if you can avoid bringing a big suitcase to Venice your life will be much easier. Rooms not really soundproof and you can hear anyone chatting in proximity to your room. I was that tired it didn’t affect me.

If you are searching for a comfortable, accessible, and altogether generous place to sleep (since you will be out in the city most of the day), this is a perfect place. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is easily found in the center. The cleaning staff could not be any nicer! And the breakfast is suitable and well-managed.

The prices for hotels across Venezia are increasingly out of touch despite demand. While I understand the flows of tourism are much higher now, I would hope that the city and its new accommodation taxes could be more realistic instead of paying even more for the same or less these days.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, you can't really wish for more. The breakfast was super delicious! Beds were comfy. We had a tiny balcony facing a narrow neighbor street and were awakened every morning by the sounds of the city waking up. The atmosphere is truly Italian and so charming.

There are no soundproof walls so we could hear pretty much everything being talked in the lobby, so if you have sensitive sleep, be prepared to have your earplugs ready. One morning we were awakened by the alarm clock from another room, which was constantly put on "snooze" mode for almost an hour. It was very annoying. Also, I wouldn't say that I didn't like it but just be informed that the rooms are indeed very compact. Although, if you have walked enough around Venice, it doesn't bother you since all you want to do when you get to your hotel room is to lie down and the only thing you need is a comfy bed (which is at your disposal in this hotel).

I loved the kindness of the staff and their love of their guests! It is a family-owned hotel, started by their grandfather Bruno right after World War II. Their English was good and made it very easy to communicate. I cannot speak highly enough of their willingness to accommodate my requests and to do what they could to help me extend my stay with them multiple times when I asked. I absolutely loved the quiet location off the main roads - but with very east access to the Grand Canal by walking almost straight down a fun road of shops, restaurants, and cafes. The great cafe directly opposite the hotel was my favorite low-key place to get a good cup of cappuccino (for 1.5 euros instead of 6 euros that emu was charged elsewhere for not a good tasking cup of coffee) every day and people watch. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. I absolutely loved the Old World charm, and it truly gave me a delightful experience on the island. The hotel honestly helped make my stay in Venice hands down my favorite stay in Italy - a trip that even included Rome, Naples, Florence, and Milan. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - and already have recommended it to family over them staying in in even a higher star hotel. It was that comfortable, enjoyable, and easy. I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel that exceeded all of my expectations. The location was perfect, with easy access to all of the nearby attractions. The room was comfortable and clean, with all of the amenities that I needed for a great stay. However, the highlight of my experience was definitely the breakfast. It was absolutely delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is the first time for me to visit Venizia. When I booked the hotel, the hotel sent me the detailed map with photos about how to reach the hotel after getting off the Vaporetto at Rialto. I just followed the instruction and reached the hotel without lost. The location is the best. Piazza San Marco is within 5 minutes walking distance. The receptionist stays at the front for 24 hours. The staffs are very friendly. The breakfast is wonderful.

Nice location, close to the Rialto bridge and St Marco square. Very clean place if only a little small, but they have done a great job with the space available, after all this is Venice and one can only do so much. Good international style breakfast (ie not just coffee and snack).

Not directly related to the hotel itself but the way one gets around to find places in Venice. Google maps doesn't work and so one tends to go around in circles meeting the same people who are lost just like you but going a different direction now. Places that are very close may take an hour to finally find. Have heard people swear in many different languages.........
