Hotel Indigo Venice is absolutely amazing. The staff are incredible. Giulia, Valentina and Francesco went out of their way to help me when my flight to Venice was cancelled and I could only get there the next morning. The communication was timely and comprehensive. And I felt comfortable knowing that when I got to Venice I knew exactly how to navigate my way to the hotel. Overall, the staff are super helpful and kind. The hotel is a delight - comfortable, clean and classy. In the rooms they've thought of everything - from gowns and slippers to tissues, a hairdryer and shower caps. Also, it really helped that the location of the hotel is away from the very busy central part of Venice, so it was like coming home to some peace every night. I would highly recommend Hotel Indigo Venice because they make you feel special and taken care of. And that's all you want as a solo traveller! I'll certainly be back.

Nothing - everything was taken care of.

At first I was concerned that the hotel was farther from the center than I wanted. That feeling was quickly offset when I realized how wonderful a break from the crowds was. The hotel was just a short water bus ride from everywhere I wanted to go. Buy a daily pass for the length of your stay to get the cheapest rate. For those that enjoy walking, the journey along the waterfront was beautiful, especially at dusk. The hotel itself creates a sense of warm welcome. The dining area and bar are inviting. The garden area behind is pleasant. The rooms were modern , comfortable and incredibly clean. While the hotel itself was excellent, it truly was the staff that made our visit something special. Every one of our hosts was attentive to any question or need we had. The incredible staff handled every detail, made it easy to relax, allowing us to focus on our vacation.

The location of the Hotel was perfect for us because it was far from all the commotion of touristy Venice. We loved the park that was near it. The Facilities being an old monastery was also very historic and alluring. The room we received was amazing and the size of it. We loved it. The room exceeded our expectations. The presentation of the room the first days we were their was amazing. The food was just as good as the stay at the restaurant. Would recommend to get the window waiver to open the windows for fresh air.

We didn't get to go to the courtyard it wasn't inevitable to just pop over to it, you had to go through the restaurant/ bar. Would of loved to have just relaxed out their with some coffee. Would recommend to get the window waver to get fresh air due to the room getting too humid after a shower. The hairdryer was not that great to straighten my hair. We stayed for 6 days and the longer we were their the less they cleaned well. Like the cleanliness of the room was going a little down hill, they were cleaning less as we were their . We used the mugs for hot chocolate and they didn't clean them well. I had to wash them. The water glasses we had also as we stayed longer forgot to switch them out with clean ones. Days 1-2 were amazing then noticed they forgot to do little things days 3-5.

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel. Every one of the staff we met were so kind and helpful. I am particularly mentioning Paola who was just so welcoming and gave us all the details we needed for our day trips. The room was massive, the view was lovely. The location is 3 mins from St Elena boat stop so getting everywhere is very easy and it's really nice to leave the tiny hot streets of Venice to get back to the space and the parkland around the hotel at the end of the day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. A well deserved 5 stars

It could not have been better

Quiet, comfortable and in a beautiful, green, residential area. Birdsong and cool breezes were a relief after being in noisy crowds all day. Easy to take water bus back and forth from the town centers. Breakfast was a feast, with many, many offerings. Staff was very friendly.

Pigeons were a nuisance when I sat in the garden to enjoy a spritz. I had no food and yet they were very aggressive. Hotel is doing their best- there are signs everywhere not to feed them.

Nice location in Venice- a little removed from the busy tourist areas and in a nice, quieter neighborhood by a park. It was still very close to the several water bus stops/within walking distance (although a longer walk) so it was still easy to see the tourist stuff. The complimentary breakfast was great- pastries, bacon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, fruit, and more. Rooms were clean with nice bathrooms. It was our honeymoon and they kindly left a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we checked in. Staff were always very helpful.

Everything was great; cleanness, bed comfort, silence.. on top the cocktails at the bar, very good and lovely service! 2 mins to the ferry at a very calm area of the city. It is also very close to the stadium, if you want to catch a football game randomly.

Please increase vegan breakfast options. We did not dine in the hotel, only had breakfast once. There is only a few vegan tarts and oat & nuts as vegan options (otherwise great breakfast for non-vegans). The hotel is overall doing great and I expected a bit more in terms of the diversity of plant based offers. It is really not hard / scarce anymore and I am sure people will appreciate.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Venice, close to the vaporetto stop. It takes around 10 min with vaporetto to reach San Marco square. The staff is friendly and ready to help at any time. We were able to leave our luggages there before we made the check in and after the check out.

We have booked a room with half board. The beverages are not included at dinner, not even water. Moreover, for dinner you have to choose from their menu, which is quite limited in options. No buffet. Also, few vegetarian/vegan options. It lasts about 1.5-2 hours for the dinner to be fully served.

We were here not first time in this hotel,this time with our little dog.I was asking to give us last floor,if other clients will be not disturbed by our dog.We were coming close to 12 hour in the night and it was normally no service in bar,but the staff there it’s always very kind and we were receiving small snack,thank you for that.Breakfast,like always good,everything there.Room is very clean,all staff is there,not need to ask something else.Special thanks for staff in this hotel,we always very satisfied with their job.Will come again here for cozy staying in Venice.Only can recommend this hotel!
