The breakfast was the biggest surprise, it takes place in a building that functions as restaurant the rest of the day, so it’s really cute. I even found a lovely secluded place with a window on the lagune. The food was fine, a little more variety of fruits would have been appreciated, but this is my personal taste. The location is excellent, takes 10 minutes to move between San Marco and the island by boat that runs fairly frequently. I loved that once you get to the island it’s actually an island of peace and quiet, basically a large park that is rare in Venice… I’d like to point out the friendliness of the staff, they were really kind. I’d definitely recommend this place, and absolutely would go back again.

I only have two things to say here, one is that the bathroom could be a bit cleaner, in particular the shower. And the second is the pillow, there was only one really thin pillow, that was quite uncomfortable (but the bed was really comfy).

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. Very nice location on a separate island - with a very particular ambience you could find only in Venice. Attention: some planning is always required to use boats between the island and the city centre . Sometimes vaporettos are once in an hour. Mind to leave more time to get to the boat station. In the city centre maps work quite bad (narrow streets and passing through buildings - thus poor Internet signal). So instead of 10 minutes you would need up to 20 minutes and might miss the boat to home

Would be nice to get a timetable of vaporetto line 20 with the email of confirmation of the stay

It's quiet and safe. The hotel is located on an isolated island, so most of the people around are tourists who also live at this hotel. You need to take line 20 to go out and back to the hotel, but since we needed to buy bus tickets for the Venice sightseeing, it did not mean extra costs. And you can enjoy the sunset at the pier. The breakfast is fabulous.

The air conditioner broke (and the degree outside is over 35℃). We were told the whole building did, too. The front was kind, and he suggested we change to another room; we have quite a lot of belongings, and it's hard to move under such a temperature. And it would be best if you were careful of the mosquitos.

This tiny island, just 2 km from Venice's city center, offers a unique and peaceful escape. It's connected by the No. 20 ferry line, which runs only two ferries per hour, making it feel even more secluded. The island has just one hotel, one campus, one small museum, one restaurant, and one café—all of which share spaces in a charming and quirky way. One moment, you're walking through the hotel, and the next, you find yourself on campus, which adds a fun and unexpected twist to the experience.

The room was comfortable, though the bed and shower were on the smaller side. The island is lush with plants, which adds to its beauty, but also attracts quite a few insects, so beware of the mosquitos—they were relentless during my stay.

perfect location, availability of hair dryer, quite many and in good quality clothes handlers, refrigerator quite in poor freezing condition but it is, hot water, quite good breakfast variety, high level of privacy, restaurant and cafe, as well coffee, snack wending machine, lot of spots where to spend time, great view of sunset, easy check-in and check-out, friendly and welcoming personnel

poor conditioning, hard pillow, no cup or glass, spoon for tea or coffee while tea or coffee itself appeared in the last evening, no vegetables at all in breakfast, poor quality of breakfast coffee

Normally I would never give such a high rating but this Hotel on Sam Servolo was astonishing. The location is quite, beautiful, and calms you after a busy day in Venice down. It’s nice to have a beautiful view of Venice while taking the boat. The personal blew me away. Extremely friendly! Doesn’t get any better than this! The room had everything you needed as well the breakfast.

The curtains where just decorations and therefore even though you could close the wooden doors on the outside which blocked of most of the light, as so as the sub came you had a light up room.

The breakfast was very good. Although it was the same every day, the offer of dishes was very varied. The staff is very kind, the room is cleaned daily. The location is special, a place with a lot of history, located on an island 10 minutes away by San Marco with vaporetto. You must carefully consult the vaporetto schedule to reach San Marco or from San Marco back to the island on time. A positive aspect is also the size of the rooms, which are very generous. I went in February, but I imagine that in spring or summer, the vegetation is much more beautiful. Overall, the ratio between quality and price is very good.

There are no negatives about this stay.

First of all, I must say that all the employees are perfect, helpful and very kind. This is a very calm, peaceful island. There is a lush green walking path where you can hear birds chirping, surrounded by magnificent views on all sides. Don't let the location of the hotel fool you, you can go to Venice and back in 10 minutes by ferry. Their restaurants also serve delicious lunch and dinner.

I was not satisfied with the toilet, it was very sloppy for such a beautiful place. It was old and the shower holder was broken. The cleaning wasn't bad, but I expected it to be better for a place like this.

My second visit here, so I knew what to expect - a tranquil small island that combines parkland with the buildings housing the various institutions etc found here (museum, convention centre, university etc), but just 10 minutes by vaporetto from the bustle of Piazza San Marco. It's nice to wander around the island looking at sculptures etc before going to the vaporetto stop. Accommodation is 4* standard, but it's not what you'd think of as a hotel. The cafe and restaurant on the island are both excellent. I love it, and will be back.

Not so much a dislike, but you are tied to the number 20 vaporetto timetable for getting on and off the island. The service is frequent, but take a look at the timetable in advance and the location of the stop, San Marco/San Zaccaria Pier B. Which ticket to choose may depend on length of stay and other travel plans ... I was there overnight so just needed return trip, but also had to use other services, so got the 24-hour pass for €25.
