Charm is the right word :) This is the fourth place we have stayed at Venice and this was our favorite. The room was quaint and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. Great location for the ferry from the airport and from the station, which worked well as we arrived by plane and left by train. Just a note: you need to be able to carry suitcases up narrow stairs.

The place is beautiful! The rooms are nice decorated. Very quiet. Good location

Check-in later than 6pm is charged, which was not informed when booking it. It is 25 💶 for late check-in (at 830pm), and if it is later than 10pm, it will be 40. The stairs are very steep, so if you have big luggage, it can be dangerous.

The location was great, the room was very clean and beautiful. Nice staff, a lot of great places to eat near the location. I would recommend and I would return to the property!

We stayed for two nights, the first morning the breakfast was pretty disappointing, it seemed to be what was left from the people that ate before us, but on the second morning the breakfast was amazing. The food was fresh on both days, and the coffee is great. Also, even though the heat was on, the room was pretty cold.

We would happily recommend the Rigoletto Charm. Thank you for a fabulous stay! - Gorgeous room with boutique decoration throughout the Rosso Charm building. - Plenty of space and storage in the Double Room, which was room #4. - A plug either side of the bed and an extension lead that feeds the TV if you need more sockets. - Big walk-in shower with great pressure and heat. - Wonderful air con. - Everything very clean throughout the building and garden. - In a really great neighbourhood - close to Guglie vaporetto, restaurants, pharmacy, churches, the Jewish ghetto and train station. - The walk to St Mark’s, for example, was lovely and lined with cafes. Apparently it’s a 25 minute walk but we always stopped a lot to look at things like the lovely canals and churches. - Breakfast was not vast but was tasty and fresh - meat, cheese, rolls, croissants, yoghurt, biscuits, pancakes, almonds, jams, butter, Nutella. They even provided me with some packed gluten free options - cake, crackers, cereal bars - after messaging the hotel in advance, which was so helpful. - Breakfast was outside in the garden at the end of September and it is also charming with plants, blue sky and the old buildings around. - Breakfast staff and housekeepers were kind and helpful without being overbearing. - Check in entrance was easy to find in Calle de la Rabbia. - Matteo was friendly at check in and waited as our flight was delayed.

Downsides. And I am really scraping the barrel to find any! - If mobility is a problem, we had to climb one staircase to Room 4. Also, you may prefer to be closer to the sites you really want to see. - If you want a very lavish breakfast with many, many options, you probably need to go to a bigger hotel.

Good location, close to the train station (no need to drag your luggage across the entire city, through small alleys and over bridges) and to two stops of the vaporetto. Extremely quiet, friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms (with power outlets on both sides of the bed, which still seems to be rare in many hotels) and good breakfast.

At check-out, we asked to leave our luggage until 3:30pm and the lady at reception confirmed that it was ok because "she would be there until 4pm". When we got at the hotel round 3:15, there was nobody, so after ringing the doorbell several times, we had to call the number that was indicated here on Booking and they gave us a code to open the door. No real issue, but it would have been nice to give that code or telephone number right away, to avoid this kind of last-minute stress.

Travel light! The stairs in the hotel are narrow and steep! Great sense of design. Clean and comfortable. Light breakfast is being served starting 8:30am. If you are arriving early, you can keave your suitcase in the hotel until you can check in at 2pm. Also, if you are leaving late, you can leave your luggage in the hotel until 4pm that day. Not everybody speaks English. Its helpful to know a few phrases in Italian. Location is great. Easy to reach via vapporetto. Slightly away from the tourist growds. Everything us about 20min walk. Great find! I definitely recommend.

super clean just a few minutes to the waterbus (from the airport) and also the train station. a very pleasant 20 min walk to San Marco great breakfast

nothing, but to be aware, this is a B&B, not a hotel. Check in and check out is regulated and you will pay €25 to check in after 6 pm.

Beautiful accommodation. I was not expecting to see such a beautiful and well kept accommodation. Good communication. We drop our luggage earlier and we were given the key of the room with the condition to access the room only from 2pm. We also left our luggage after check out for a few hours before catching the train. The breakfast room is beautiful. There is a continental breakfast available. The property is located about 10m walking from the train station closer to the restaurant, but tucked away in the corner, so away from the noise. The room is spacious and comfortable. Good size bathroom with shower gel, shampoo, towels.

I couldn't find any hairdryer. I stayed for one night so didn't bother me much. Also some plugs don't fit the small holes, but that's something I noticed in all the hotels I stayed in Italy. Luckily I had one adapter that I took by mistake. But would be a good touch to have these adapters available at the property.

Lovely continental breakfast and ready for the time I asked for (they asked this at check-in). I was in the orange room so checked-in at main address and was escorted 1 min across main street to my place (where breakfast & checkout was). Bedroom was clean, lady serving breakfast was lovely (and we communicated well given my poor language skills!)

Room was warm enough but I didn't know how to change temperature- would be good to know. Some people may be put off by going to another building but this is a two-building B&B, not a hotel, so I was fine with it. Coffee facilities in the room would have been a nice touch.

Good location, close to the railway station. Room was nice. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were able to do an earlier check-in. Also since our train left later, we were able to leave our luggages safely there after check-out. Breakfast was excellent, very tasty and various! Breakfast was served in the courtyard on the terrace, where it was nice to sit.

There was a bit of a strange smell in the room, but maybe it came from the sewer area and maybe it was just in our room. But we got used to it.
