The room was nice and modern. The lobby area was very nice, fireplace, furnishings were all top notch. The front desk, staff, the housekeeping, staff, and the shuttle bus drivers were all helpful and kind.

Not enough towels provided. I thought it was weird that there was only one washcloth, two hand towels, and two bath towels. This heat/AC unit we’re tricky to use. There was a thermostat in the room and a thermostat on the unit and it was never obvious which was actually controlling the unit, the final thing I didn’t like was extremely minor, but annoying nonetheless. The desk lamp on the desk had all the indications that it was an articulating lamp, but the lamp actually didn’t articulate. The screw tightened hinge that would normally bend on a desk lamp was all one solid piece and only there for decoration. So weird! Besides those two minor annoyances, and the third super silly annoyance, the hotel is really nicely appointed and a great value.

This was my first time at the Sonesta Select Hotel. In fact, the hotel's name was all new to me. Guided by the reviews on booking.com, the great photos of the property and of course the price, I was happy to make an online reservation. I am so pleased I selected this hotel. The property was clean and inviting. The room decor was simple elegant with modern furnishing and amenities such as an ironing board and a good working iron. The staff was excellent. Two thumbs up for the front desk team. I arrived on property approximately 2 hours before check in time and a vacant room was quickly identified and I was allowed to access same early at no extra charge. The hotel's Airport Shuttle was a big plus. As it was my first time in Philadelphia, moreso as a transit passenger, I was more than happy to be picked up promptly by way of a simple call to alert the hotel of my arrival. The Shuttle Driver was very professional and knowledgeable and by way of his quick online intervention on check-out morning, I was able to confirm the correct departure terminal. I was only looking for an affordable place to crash for the night until my next flight but I got a whole lot more..an excellent room at a great price and A-grade hospitality (which included room deliveries). The only missing peice from this fabulous experience was breakfast. You guys should consider adding Continental Breakfast to the package and open the Resturant earlier in the afternoon. Since check-in time is 4:00pm and guests may arrive early and hungry, like myself, the restaurant would be the ideal place to pass the time if room is not ready. Our king suite had electrical issues also one heating and air unit in the front room was stuck on 99 and could not turn off that unit. It was late so we reported the issues when we checked out. I do want to state the it appears Sonesta recently acquired the hotel and has been newly renovated. We will stay there again if the opportunity presents itself

Spacious room with comfortable bed. The hotel is situated close to the airport. A shuttle bus is provided free of charge.

The check-in was a joke. The receptionist listened to music in one ear through her headphones while she was checking in. Therefore, not all of my questions were answered satisfactory. Please invest in proper training and manners. The cleanliness could be improved.

Thomas at the front desk was amazing and super friendly even at 1am during our very late check in. The hotel is very modern and the bed was super comfortable. I Loved all the extra places to plug in devices. The free shuttle was prompt and very nice.

There was a lot of door slamming in the early morning but that probably can't be controlled.

The room was really clean and well appointed. It was quiet, had a fridge and a coffee maker and the bed was so comfy! Appreciated having a shuttle to the airport in the morning and the driver was really nice.

The front desk staff were not very welcoming and the room felt like it was quite a ways from the airport (the taxi ride was over $30 if that says anything).

Less than 10 minutes from airport. Shuttle bus every half hour. You have to call when you get to airport and schedule when you want shuttle back to airport. But it’s organized

Not much around there in terms of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Wawa is a 20-minute but no sidewalk in parts.

Comfortable beds, clean stylish bathrooms and rooms with compliments soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Friendly staff at the counter along with the housekeeping staff.

One elevator was down but the wait wasn't long for the other. It was a very minor inconvenience

The Hotel is very close to the airport which was very convenient for my connecting flight in the early morning. The yard looked really beautiful. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was really helpful. I’m thinking of a longer stay here next time I’m in Philly

The hotel is so close but there is no way to walk to the airport. The Booking.com reservation (reported as confirmed by Booking.com) was not propagated to the Sonestra reservation database. Fortunately the hotel had vacancy.
