Best Western Plus Yakima Hotel

Continental breakfast was good - eggs, sausage, ability to make both pancakes/waffles, juices, milk, packaged pastries, apples, coffee and other hot beverages (hot bevs open 24/7) etc. breakfast served from 7-10 am Room (two double) had nice beds and nice tv with fridge and separate couch with pull out (though my daughter just slept on couch). Desk area as well. Bathroom had commode/shower separate from sink area which was nice for multiple people use. We were on first floor and didn’t experience a lot of noise even though super close to freeway entrance/exit. Girls used swimming pool and hot tub - they also have an exercise room. It’s not really walking distance to any central area but only a mile or two from stores/shopping/convention center. I’d stay again with no problem.

Because we booked online through third party we were not able to get the convention rate though they indicated all of that block of rooms sold out.

From the moment we checked-in the staff were friendly and courteous. The room was very cl;ean and comfortable with plenty of room. The breakfast offered plenty of choices, was nicely presented and tasty. We used the work out facilities but not the pool and the room was clean and cool.

Friendly staff person that greeted us. She did not wear a name tag I don't believe. Helpful and offered water. Told us all the necessary things. Offered extra blankets. Great breakfast!!! Easy check out and that person was also super friendly...engaging.

Neighboring room was loud. When the let their door slam it made our door jump. Remote did not turn on TV had to do it manually. A bottle of alcohol was left on the shelf from previous guest which led me to feel room wasn't properly turned over. I forgot to trash it 🙃

The staff was helpful. The beds were comfortable. The room was very clean. My older teens really enjoyed the indoor pool and said that it was clean and a good temp without too many chemicals. They didn't go in the hot tub.

We only stayed one night in a double queen, so it wasn't really an issue. But the room was small for four people. It was a bit cramped around the beds and furniture.

The staff was friendly, everything was impeccably clean! The beds, pillows and bedding were high quality and without a doubt the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in any hotel, and I’ve traveled for many years having to stay in a lot of hotels. The complimentary breakfast was a full breakfast with lots of options and was equally satisfying. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It is close to the street and you can hear the traffic early morning and late evening if you’re staying on the front side of the hotel. However we were able to leave the tv on to drown out the traffic noise during those hours. It wasn’t really too bad. I would book a room at the rear side of the hotel if possible, if that bothers you.

Nice and clean. Didn’t know there was street construction going on but our stay was great. Nice staff checked us in. Pool was open and clean towels abundant there. Pillows were okay but I have the gel pillows at home so I had to use all 4 just to be comfortable. Fast WiFi.

Pretty Constant stream of people walking the sidewalks. Just made sure to bring everything in snd not leave anything out to tempt anyone. But witnessed staff supplying drinks to those that came in and asked for them. That was neat.

Breakfast was good. I liked that the coffee was available 24/7. Pool hours for adults only after 10pm was nice.

Hot tub was very dirty. Room had strong food odor during entire visit as if previous guests spent their time cooking in the room.

great pool, breakfast, comfy room

we arrived an hour early and they told us we could not check in early without an extra charge. Not a great way to treat folks with reservations in spite of almost empty hotel. Policies are policies, but customer service must come first.

the general facility is in great shape and nice. Lots of room in the bedroom. Desk is freezing as the AC hits the chair one is sitting on. I am on a low carb diet. Breakfast had 5 things that I could eat. Sausage links, scrambled eggs, coffee, Milk and plain oatmeal. I was fine. Just had to make sure that got my fruit and vegetables later that day.

The motel is in a "seedy" area but it is fenced off well and my car was not touched.
