it’s a great location and a basic hotel with some amenities. the breakfast is always good.

they did not have wifi service when we checked in and so our card could not be charged for the stay at that moment. instead of making us feel comfortable and letting us go up to our room after a 15hr international plane trip, they made us sit in the lobby for 3.5 hours until we could charge the card to go to our room. any hotel I have been to would have accommodations ready for us and payment would have been done when we checked out or during our stay since it was their fault that the system was down. it was a bad management decision.

It is very central. Easy to find and also easy to get ubers and cabs. Breakfast is good. Early check in and late check out available at an extra cost. Large room with plenty of space to open big luggages on the floor.

The shower is not super clean and that bothered me a bit. Quality of the towels is poor. The bed is comfy but somehow the mattress keeps moving out of the base (weird, I know).

There were so many positives about our stay in the Transamerica. Starting with our room, large spacious room with a walk in wardrobe and very comfortable bed and balcony to sit and enjoy a drink along with a fantastic view. Really nice pool with great views. Perfectly located right beside Paulista Avenue and so close to the metro. Finally, the staff were so kind and helpful ensuring our stay was as pleasant as possible. Overall it was a brilliant stay and would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

nothing - everything was great

Good and safe location a few minutes walk from metro station and about 30 minutes walk to Ibirapuera park. Nice roof pool and very good buffet breakfast. Our hotel room on 13th floor was large enough with minifridge and we slept well in the kingsize bed (there were 2 pillows for each person). I would definitely stay there again.

The folks at reception desk were very helpful for maps, directions & getting taxis. The hotel is a 10 min walk from MASP & the park. There is a small shopping center just 5 min away with ATM, etc.

It is a 40+ min taxi ride from GRU. However, the hotel arranged for a driver to pick us up & so it turned out ok.

A guy from a front desk saved my life! After issues with my credit card and struggling to find an open exchange office in Sao Paulo in a middle of Sunday (unbelievable to me but true), Wilson exchanged my US dollars for reals so I could finally pay my staying. Had really no options at that moment, but this guy was so kind, huge thanks to him!

Room deco and all the furniture is (perhaps) outdated, I think it needs renovation. But I got what I paid for - nothing much.

Good location just off Paulista, safe neighbourhood. Only one or two of the staff could speak English but they went out of their way to make sure we were understood. Kitchen staff were particularly good for creating some gluten free options, even though non was on the menu.

Very helpful reception, decent breakfast buffet, good coffee, good drinks. The hotel has a very good location. The room was spacious and everything worked.

We missed the vegetables at the breakfast buffet.

Location. Easy access to other parts of the city by metro or user. Safe neighbourhood just off Paulista with some great restaurants and bars close by. Nice but small and cold rooftop pool area.
