Beautiful setting against Mount Asana. Room had a fantastic view and it was very comfortable . Breakfast was very good in a awesome and picturesque dining room. Onsen was clean and had a wonderful view of Asana too. Staff were very friendly & helpful.
Nothing really. We were driving so it was perfect , but for those who do not drive , the city is about 10 mins or 7 km away . But I understand that there is a bus shuttle by the hotel to the station ,

Loocation: is perfect, we had a car, it was easy to reach. Food: we had breakfast in the hotel, the food was delicious and had variety. Room: very spacious with view of Mt Asama and overlooking beautiful hotel grounds. The hotel has an onsen ( public bath).

Loved being away from the crowd in town and more out in nature. The Onsen up the hill was very beautiful and indeed a highlight. Staff weee so friendly and the cosiest room. Great to be back in Karuizawa again.

I definitely recommend you stay this hotel! The environment and room are beautifully furnished, room with huge size, very clean. Breakfast is delicious, you get to having the best view while enjoying the meal. Staff are friendly and really helpful.

It was a great stay. The hotel is located in mountain areas with great view, but very convenient as it provides free shuttle bus rides to the Karuizawa station - almost one ride every hour. The food is also wonderful. Above all, the service is amazing, the best of the best in worldwide I can say.

The hot spring is superb！Must try ！I went to the onsen twice during stay, morning and night to enjoy different scenes, both are lovely ！ Also, do not miss breakfast at the restaurant with a stunning panorama view of the Asama Mountain ！
The hotel seems a bit old style and needs to be refurbished.

The place is breatakingly beautiful,infact the room had the most amazing view of Mt Asama ,the staff was super helpful, onsen was also on a hill top with a spectacular view , totally worth it.
