This hotel far exceeded our expectations! It is in a great location for all your transportation needs. The lobby is located on the 15th floor which means your room is somewhere above that. Our superior twin room was on the 23rd floor and was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. There were lots of amenities that we made good use of. We appreciated the size of the room that left space for us to easily move around in as well as keep our luggage off to the side. The window view was nice. The buffet breakfast at this hotel is one of the best we've had! Not only was the variety of food choices amazing, but the barista style hand crafted coffee was awesome! A word of caution - the hotel is located above the train station and you can hear the trains at night (freight trains pass through here), but the hotel did let us know ahead of time. It didn't bother us much as we were exhausted from sightseeing and fell asleep almost immediately. If we go to Nagoya again, we would definitely stay here!

Almost everything to like, very few to dislike.

Why with all the good things about the hotel, why does it have to let guests wait till 3pm to Q to check in? Especially those like us who arrive on the 830am flight to Nagoya. Soon as rooms are available, a 12-2pm check in would have been kind to us. I guess behind the facade of efficiency, there are conflicting demands amongst various operations that necessitate this rigid (almost silly to the unenlightened) rule. And to see the long queues at 5pm and the poor front office staff working frantically to check guests in, it almost seems frustrating to all!

Location is very convenient. It is located at the front side of Nagoya Station, near where you exit Meitetsu Nagoya station if you are coming via airport train. This side of the station is where Takashimaya, Tokyu Hands, Ghibli Store, Starbucks, etc. are located. From the ground floor, you go up to the 15th floor via scenic elevator. On the 15th floor where the lobby is located, there's another panoramic Starbucks, an Amano drugstore, a Bellmart Kiosk convenience store, and the hotel's restaurant, which makes it very convenient if you need anything and don't wish to venture away from the hotel too much. If the room is available, you can also choose to pay extra for early check-in or late check-out (we found the rates quite reasonable--they had rates provided in 3-hour chunks, so for example you pay 25% of the base room rate for 3 extra hours, 50% for 6 hours, and so forth). We availed of this since our flight was at night. 2 water bottles provided in the room, along with a coffee machine (coffee pods system), kettle, mini fridge. Amenities include loofah, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razor, comb, hair ties, skin care samples, etc. Vending machines near each set of elevators. They let you store your luggage at reception. Waiting area with seats available at lobby, including restrooms. I also spotted a gym near the restrooms on the 15th floor. Checkout is easy, via automated machines

While the location is convenient in general, it's not the nearest in terms of getting from the ground floor to the hotel room (for example if you forgot something in your room) because you have to use 2 elevators and there's a 100-200m walk in between (on the 15th floor). The drugstore, konbini, and restaurant on the 15th floor all close pretty early (not 24h). Not outrageously expensive but it is pretty pricey for the size (28,000JPY per night for a 23sqm room). I would probably find it too expensive for a longer-term stay.

It is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. It is the perfect location as it is connected with JR, easy access to everywhere. We booked 2 nights of 3 superior twin rooms, I think the size is perfect for 2 persons with 2 big luggage. As you expect in Japan, the staff does not speak much English but they are always accommodating. Breakfast is delicious with a very good latte which seems to be one of the pride of the property.

The hotel is a bit on the pricey side, this maybe related to the dates as we arrived during the high season. The check in process is rather crazy, the line is very long, for next stay I would definitely stay away to check in after 3pm

Great location if you are planning to use JR, Shinkansen, Kintetsu etc. Great restaurants options in JR gate tower. Clean room, great water pressure and amenities. Overall we had a great stay.

Corner room is a bit smaller than expected. Long wait for checking-in. Nothing memorable about their service.

Location is good. Breakfast spread is good too.

We have the unfortunate experience of having to make a double for our room booking because the hotel uses an automated payment kiosk for guests to make payment before issuing the room keys. The kiosk system failed on our first payment, where our credit card was debited, but the hotel said they did not receive any credit. And we needed to do a second payment by the same credit card over the counter, which the hotel then said they got the credit. Its annoying when our credit card worked well with no limit issues, and it was the hotel system failure, yet we had to be out of pocket for double the amount....now we have to wait for the credit card to effect a reversal which we don't have any control.

The room felt well organized with obvious places for bags, sitting, and dressing. The view of the city was gorgeous including a view of Nagoya Castle from the room. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The location was also great being attached to Nagoya Station, which serves as a central hub for getting pretty much anywhere, though be warned the station is very crowded, far more than anywhere else in the city we visited.

The beds sag very distinctly in the center, for two people sharing a bed you will likely end up pushed towards each other. The pillows were all quite soft for our tastes. There was an option on the service menu to get a buckwheat or memory foam pillow but both were marked as out of stock. The shower head in our room had great water pressure, but we did not see an obvious way to angle it in any way, which meant it would point directly forward when attached to the stand.

The hotel was easy to find from Nagoya Station and was located right above it, making it very convenient for us to get around. The concierge was able to store our luggages before check in and after check out which was very helpful. Rooms were located on high floors with great views, and were clean with all the necessary amenities. One of the rooms had a washing machine in it which was useful.

Despite being on high floors, we could hear the faint rumble of the trains all day (no vibrations though), even past 12am. Not an issue for us but might be worth noting for very light sleepers.

Location was good in the Nagoya JR station , Room was clean and comfortable . However the hypoallergenic pillows provided were too soft with no neck support . Woke up with neckache. The hotels only got a limited supply of 4 such pillows , however they do provide special cleaning and extra towels for guests with allergies and asthma

We have allergies to perfumes and dust , the hotel does not have any air cleaning machines , claiming that the air conditioner has a cleaning effect. But we found it too weak to clean up our room air properly , so when we requested for an extra cleaning machine the hotel does not have at all ! For a price paid , such amenities should be available for guests who have severe allergies !
