The location was practically within the train station complex. A fantastic hub for making day trips throughout western Honshu, Shikoku and the Seto inland sea. We had a room on the upper floors with lounge access which was a nice perk. The staff in the lounge was particularly attentive. The views were rater nice. Breakfast was tasty with a mix of Western and Japanese cuisine. Okayama's train station includes a shipping mall and several food courts, so you are spoilt for choice close by.

Being a Crown Plaza we would have appreciated the NHK English language channel or some other international news channel like BBC World or at least CNN's local version - not the US domestic one.

This hotel is a large, modern hotel located adjacent to the train station. It was clean, but a bit small compared to other hotels at comparable prices we stayed in during this trip. There were lots of decent restaurants with in walking distance. Since we were using Okayama as a hub for our day trips in the region the location adjacent to the train station (< 5 minutes) was a real plus.

The breakfast was good but could have included a few more western choices.

Conveniently located within the Okayama Station complex, huge shopping complex, supermarket and bakery. Shinkansen stop and local trains. to Naoshima ferry, Kurashiki and Korakuen. Taxi stands everywhere in the complex.

perhaps I was overly sensitive, but there was a surprising response by the front desk staff when I asked for coffee pod replacements which the housekeeping staff forgot to refill one day. They questioned me as if in disbelief. perhaps I misread their response although these days in Japan, sometimes having a Chinese surname is not to your advantage.

Very easy to find a short walk from the station on a traffic-free walkway. Check in simple and reception staff friendly and helpful. Room itself was ideally suited to our needs and extremely clean and comfortable with excellent views of the city (we were on 18th floor) with all necessary amenites. Couldn't really find a fault although the plain glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom came as a bit of a surprise - there was a blind however which we could lower.

All good.

Location, excellent lunch —- note that I have stayed here in the past

I have been traveling in Japan for about 23 days, and this is the most expensive hotel I stayed at, and the only one that did not provide a bottle of water. Many hotels provided two bottles. Also, it is the only one that did not provide beauty supplies other than the soap, conditioner, and shampoo.

Excellent location (linked to the JR station). The room is small (as we have expected), but the space is well organized. There is a shelf near the entry where we can place some items. The window sill is wide and long, so we can leave many items on it after taking them out from luggage (since it is difficult to walk around if we leave our luggage open). Despite the hotel is next to railway, we didn't hear any traffic!

The location is excellent. It's right next to the JR Shinkansen station. It's well connected to the station through a footbridge. That means, even when it's raining, you really don't have to worry about getting wet since the entire walk is under cover. Also, I booked a car from Toyota, which is right next to the hotel.

The only issue I have with this ANA Crowne Plaza hotel is that since I made a booking through Booking.com, I couldn't save the mile points on my ANA membership card. The hotel might consider more flexible options.

Probably the best location in Okayama - literally next to the station, a konbini and many bars and restaurants. Yet the hotel is nicely quiet, clean, comfortable and elegant. Staff speak perfect English, and is particularly helpful and warm to every customer. Breakfast was excellent and allows you to discover local products (as well as everything you would expect to see on a great breakfast buffet). I would 100% return there if I were to travel to Okayama again.

The hotel is a very short walk from the train station and the train station seems quite new and has lots of food and shopping so it is a convenient location. The room was a good size-two suitcases could be tucked away, which is not the case in many hotels in Japan. The Cafe Urbano served us an excellent dinner. One of the better dinners we have had at a hotel restaurant and the price was quite reasonable.

The only thing missing is an onsen. I didn't like the bath products very much but that is a matter of personal taste. They were provided and they did the job.

Comfortable bed with nice cotton sheets and a feather duvet. A good chat system using the QR code to contact the cleaning staff for an extra pillow. We liked the bath and appreciated the bath robes. Good view from our bedroom window on the 7th floor. The railway station is close by and easily reached via a covered walkway.

The heating temperature in the bedroom was a little bit high for us at 24°C. We eventially managed to turn the aircon down and used the humidifier.
