The location was excellent - connected to the train station. There is a huge shopping mall with loads of dining facilities that can be reached without leaving the building. The bus and tram stop is just a 4 min. walk inside the station building away. Very quiet, modern and comfortable rooms. Like all rooms in Japanese business hotels, ours was very small, but we found enough space to stow our two suitcases and two trolleys well.

The breakfast is Japanese-style and somewhat basic. In our opinion, the buffet and the selection of set breakfast menus could be improved. We enjoyed it nonetheless.

You can have (almost) all that you need, just ask for it. Need an umbrella? Ask the reception. Need to store your luggage for the end of the day? Ask reception. The hotel is placed inside the train station and near the bus terminal so it is a great time saver. Staff is very friendly and cooperative, top tier.

I was unable to exchange foreign money. I got a vague directions to the "pocket exchange" kiosk, which are technically not wrong (you can top up your card with foreign cash), but pretty much useless (you can't buy cash-JPY there). I think that recommendations should be changed so that customers will be directed to the ticket center (Chikettosenta Omotoekimaeten, 10:30~18:30 every day except Sunday). There is a branch of Western Union that does exchange money (not every branch does it).

Really fantastic location, directly accessible to the train station. We needed an early morning shinkansen and it was so nice not to stress about getting to the station. It's also located in the JR station so lots of food options around.

There is a smoking room in the lobby and the smoke smell lingers in the elevators, and lobby area. As a non smoker, it is a little off putting.

The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel and the room were very clean and tidy. All the utilities in the room were of good quality and nothing was missing. Being a rail side hotel, you are well connected to trains, buses and local trams and the station itself has a good selection of restaurants and shops.

The only one thing I would change is the pillow (I'm a typical European softy who finds the hard pillows uncomfortable).

Location was fantastic, right at the train station (we didn’t even need to exit it), right above a mall that has so much food and local delicacies and souvenirs from Okayama. It’s an easy bus ride/walk from the main sights and there’s lots of shopping around. Room is comfortable, cosy and clean.

The pillows were uncomfortable, and I wish they’d allow early check in, we were there less than an hour before 3pm. Wish that there was free water or a dispenser around too.

We stopped for one night, on our way south. The hotel is literally in the train station, where you also have restaurants and shops. This is very convenient if you stop by. Breakfast is very good.

Our room was relatively quiet, but you could still hear the shinkansens running through. I presume that on the other side of the building it could be a little noisy. I would suggest to ask a quiet room.

Location was by far the best factor. It's connected to Okayama station. Amenities were great, has everything u need from a budget hotel. Room was small but that's to be expected with the cheapest variant for a twin room. Cleanliness was really good, view from the room was also pretty sweet. Loads of floors have coin laundry and vending machines. Staff were nice too.

Just note that the signs for the hotel are mainly in Katakana so finding the lift lobby that leads to it from the station might be quite hard for someone who doesn't read Japanese. Apart from that and size of room not much to complain about!

The hotel is virtually on top of station, I went past it at first & left the station and had to return. Entry at East end of level 2 station concourse for lifts to hotel foyer on level 5. Stores on L.2 include good Vie de France pastry store

Room compact, bit small for couple but I was solo. Could not stay a second night as sold out. Nothing really on East side of the station so you have to go to the West side for the bar/restaurant quarter

the location was excellent It was virtually in the main station but with neglible noise. It was clean. The room and the fittings were very up to date.

Some other business hotels had better facilities and the room itself, though small, could have had better use of the space. If you were travelling with a big suitcase it might have been awkward

Very conveniently located next to the station, actually you can access it from within the station building 30 seconds walk from the shinkansen gate. Sound proofing is excellent, although I had a view of the train tracks and busy street, I almost couldn't hear anything from outside. The room is cozy and has a large TV (although you cannot connect your own device to it).

The room is extremely small considering the high price. If you don't know how to access the Hotel it's easy to miss the entrance because there are no obvious sign posts where the entrance is when you come from the train.
