The location was convenient. The room was dated but clean and big for Japan. The breakfast was amazing! That may have been the best part. The spa was also really good — large and not crowded.

The main issue was our room was weirdly hot. You would not expect this to be an issue in December, but there was no way to cool the air down. According to the thermometer on the hotel’s alarm clock, it was always between 25.4 and 26.2 C. We borrowed a fan but it was not helpful at cooling down the air. I thought check in, check out process at the spa was inefficient. I’m sure they could think of a smoother system.

Great location/access to transport. Subway entrance and shopping mall are just across the road. JR station is 2-3min walk. The hotel room is good-sized, and hotel lobby is massive. The shopping centre closes a little late so it's a good place for a late night snack and grocery run. I requested a high floor room and views are amazing.

We werent told breakfast needed booking beforehand. It was full the whole time we were there, and no waitlist allowed so had to eat outside everytime. Also be mindful that the spa doesnt let you in if you have tattoos, unless you cover them with a patch for 3000Y each tattoo. I was told it was their regulation.

Location: Right next to Shin-Sapporo station so super easy to get around as that has both JR and local lines for Suica and JR Rail pass access. Suica is underground and JR is above in case confused. Plenty of kombini around so late-night snacks or dinner. Rooms: Super spacious like the 2nd biggest hotel I got in my whole holiday. The bathroom was spacious and worked well. A little funky colouring but not bothered with that. Super clean and fresh towels daily (some didn't do this). Service: Staff were helpful in English & Japanese. Probably more efficient for Google Sensei (translate) when unsure. but eh. Wifi was great and common areas were bougie.

Electrical outlets, there were some but I would've liked more in more convenient locations. Would've liked a hotel access free onsen instead of the spa. The spa is lush but costs money.

Quite a majestic and quiet 5 star accommodation that stands tall in the centre of shin-Sapporo. Easy access from Shin- Sapporo. Awesome view from room of entire city in white snow! Very friendly staff. I was even given an early check in even though the check in was 3pm. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety. Price of accommodation was soooo reasonable! Real value for money ! Room was super spacious. Some people commented as dated hotel but it was something that I liked. Will definitely stay here again ! It’s for the people, place, awesome view, breakfast and price! Just book this place and you will not regret it!

Nothing at all

Very convenient location. Just about 5 min walk to Shin-Sapporo subway and JR line. Just about 10 stops to Odori Park and central Sapporo. Stayed at Sky Corner room. Fantastic view of Sapporo city. Room was comfortable, clean. Breakfast was very good. Lots of variety. Overall, excellent place to stay. I would stay here again when visiting Sapporo.

The smell of smoke in the corridor. I was on a no smoking floor but there are smoking floors and the smell comes through. The spa was quite disappointing.

Nice spa facility that was reasonably priced for guests to use. The hotel room itself was quite basic but clean and functional- fine for a couple of nights’ stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Chinese restaurant on one of the upper floors had nice food options and stunning views of the city. The lady working in the restaurant was really friendly and helped us understand the menu which was really appreciated! The shopping centre in the train station just a few minutes walk away had a surprisingly good selection of restaurants and izakayas.

The location was a bit further out of the city than we realised so there wasn’t a whole lot to do in the surrounding area. However, you can reach central Sapporo by subway in around 30mins from the hotel which isn’t too bad!

Convenient location next to a both JR and Metro station. Close to shopping centres (but bear in mind many of the restaurants and shopping places will be closed by 9pm). Spacious room for three people and pleasant views of the suburbs. Vending machines on floors has variety of stock too.

Seems to be a popular hotel for large groups so expect to see large amounts of people especially during major events.

I'm coming back to this hotel for the second time, it's always very good: clean, well appointed, large room, nice view through the window. A must-visit: the spa in the basement of the hotel. I haven't tried the massages. That will be for next time!

Please note, the restaurant is Chinese and not Japanese. So the breakfast and meals are Japanese but made by the Chinese (not always very Japanese).

A very good hotel, maybe not 5 stars or 5 stars 20 years ago. The room was large, with a nice view of the city, and well soundproofed. There is an onsen downstairs, which I recommend. Everything is very clean. The hotel is right next to a large shopping center with shops and restaurants, it's convenient.

The only drawback is that it is 10 km from the center of Sapporo and therefore you have to take the metro (25 min journey) for sightseeing (there is nothing touristy next to the hotel).

Great location just outside shin-Sapporo station; take note that it is shin-Sapporo station, not Sapporo station; however, it is very accessible nonetheless. Breakfast was brilliant - we could make our own Chirashi bowls with the prawn and salmon/tuna sashimi!

You have to pay to enter the onsen, beds were slightly hard.
