Near the train station. Very accessible.

During my first night i woke up to the sound of my door banging 2-3x while i was sleeping. at around 3am i finally checked my door only to find out that someone opened it. Good thing it has another lock inside.. i was so creeped out and reported it early in the morning and the receptionist and i couldnt understand each other but later on i was convinced that i’ll be fine. And the receptionist said it was a mistake and apologized. And later the night prior my check out, i discovered bugs or something?? I dont know what it’s called..

The very convenience location is the perfect choice for my parents. We don't need to carry our luggage all the way when we are out from the station. I put a request for the rooms arranged nearby if possible, the friendly staff keep this in mind and arrange my room just next to my parents' room, this very sweet action kept my parents who are visiting the Japan the first time a safe and sound feeling.

If possible, 21 rooms on each floor but only shared with two elevators, kept guests wait for a longer time some times especially when it's time to check out. I will consider to reserve another visit if I have chance to visit Ueno again, maybe I will get the lake view next time. I do get a slightly view of Skytree Tower from my room this time, as long as I don't mind the neighborhood office building.....

Hotel exceeded my expectations! We had two large and two medium-sized bags, so at first I wasn't sure how big the room would be, but everything worked out fine! The hotel satisfies all requirements, which is, in my opinion, the most essential factor. Not to mention, the bed feels extremely cozy! Look no further if your goal is to stay somewhere that offers both halal cuisine and a ton of local treats! Another benefit of the hotel's proximity to Ueno Kensei station is that it's easily accessible from and to the airport! Without a doubt, I will return to the APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae. .

What I appreciated most is that they did not immediately cancel our reservation even if we had a very late check in due to severe snow. Highly accessible from Narita Airport via Skyliner, place is also near train stations and we had an overall peaceful stay. I enjoyed the view from our window, overlooking the pond (uploaded photo here). They are also prompt in leaving daily change of towels and robes by our door every morning. Also grateful they allow leaving our luggage on check out day so we can still explore Tokyo while waiting for our night flight. They also had Pinay staff at the front desk 😊

The place is compact, very little space to move around so it’s not the best if you want more space inside the room and toilet but overall we still had a comfortable stay.

This property is perfectly located between the peacefulness of Euno park and the craziness of Ameyoko shopping area and a hop, step and a jump from the Euno station with its numerous lines heading all over Tokyo. Even closer is Keiso line station to catch the Skyliner to and from Narita airport. The location is unbeatable. In saying that our room was the standard double and perfectly clean and comfortable but tiny. If you’re claustrophobic you mightn’t enjoy it. The view out towards the Tokyo tower was beautiful and helped alleviate the enclosed feeling. We’re used to campervan travel so coped well in the small size but next time I’d try to book earlier for the slightly larger room. If you’re ok with small and like affordability then this is the place for you.

Very small room. It’s very busy here so if you prefer a quieter location this might not be for you. The park is a lovely escape from the crowds though.

Excellent location. A one minute walk to the train station. Who wants to walk an extra 15 minutes to their hotel after walking and riding the trains all day? No one, which is why we booked this beauty. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The amenities were exceptional; clean robes and towels daily....shampoo, conditioner, body wash, washcloth, toothbrush and toothpaste, slippers, combs, razors, q-tips provided daily. The daily commute to public transportation was a 10/10, you literally have to bring nothing but a change of clothes during your stay. This is an absolutely perfect hotel AND location.

I really can't be too critical, the rooms are much smaller than we are used to in Canada...but that's just how it goes, and we made it work! We traveled to JAPAN, a small room is the least of our worries. I researched hotels for weeks and weeks, if this one is available, book it!!

Basically across the street from a Keisei Station and Ueno park, although a lot of people gather at that section of park at night and drink. Didn't have any issues though. Ueno Station is a short maybe 5 minute walk, there is a 7-11 a few buildings down. I had an issue with my flight and had to push back a day literally the day before and they refunded the unused day.

Due to the flight issue there was a mix up, although it was originally my fault. I booked a smoking room by mistake. I sent the hotel a message and they changed it for me without issue. When I had to alter my reservation I got stuck back in a smoking room. I don't believe there is any fault with the Hotel for this but worth mentioning to make sure you don't book a smoking room by mistake. Their lobby is small and gets very full with luggage.

Located right at the station. If you are coming in from Narita and going out on the Shinkansen you cannot get a better location for the money. It was fantastic. Priced incredibly well compared to some Tokyo hotels

The rooms are small. Don't be fooled these are the size of the bed and bathroom and no more space. Its really a business hotel for staying in and go to work the next day. Beds are comfortable and the room is very pleasant but they don't have any spare space. Breakfast was very traditional Japanese which I found a bit hard to find enough to eat.

Location was excellent. Super easy to find on arrival at Kesei Ueno station. Convenient for other trains and metro to move around Tokyo. Walking from hotel took us quickly to all Ueno has to offer (loads). And the view from our 15th floor lake view room was awesome, both by day and night. The room was small but comfortable for us with a comfortable double bed, practical bathroom with Toto toilet and all the little necessities.

Air conditioning was not working properly so room was either like a fridge or hot and stuffy. We borrowed a fan and propped the door open when we were in.

The location close to main railway station, city park and major commercial centre.. Window. to bedroom gave good view across city and early morning sun. 100 metre proximity to Narita Airport rail link made it easy for us to leave Tokyo and Japan to fly home.

Early check out time 10.00 and late check in time 15.00, although this is common throughout much of Japan. Very small bedroom and bathroom room common to.all APA hotels I know. Deep bathtub good for onsen type bath although only big enough for one small person. Bit tricky getting in and out would be better if had some sort of rail or handle to help old people like me and prevent accidents.
