Front desk employees were always very welcoming and helpful in answering our questions. This was our very first time in Japan and this hotel was an excellent choice. Was very well located. Asakusa had a lot of fun and interesting things to see and do with plenty of places to eat. Located at the northern most end of the Ginza Lina which connects to just about every major spot in Tokyo. Great view of Sky Tree. Amazing value for all the things you get.

The room AC could be a bit tricky to get going which led to room getting pretty humid at night. Bathroom was just a bit too small but fully functional and clean.

We stayed here twice on this trip (3days and 7days). Bear in mind that this is technically a basic 3star 'Business Hotel' the rooms were quite large for such and the waterfront/balcony room views of SkyTree, Sumida River and the Kirin building were just fabulous. ALL the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom spotless - it was a good size for a business hotel. The hotel is only a few steps away from 3 convenience stores, the Tobu train station, the Ginza subway and Asakusa central. The Sumida tourist boats basically dock right outside and the Yakgatabune boats just across the bridge. Great location and great price! For a couple I recommend rooms 801 or 901 (doubles). Both rooms had a microwave, kettle, fridge, balcony/views etc.

Nothing - was perfect for the price!

We stayed at the dormy, at the start of our trip to japan and at the end. The location was so great. We had views across the sumida park and river to the skytree and the asahi beer building, so especially at night it was magic. Being near to the sensoji temple, i could walk there early morning or late night to avoid the crowds. Being close to transport was handy although the exit 5 which, is the nearest to dormy, involved some steps. we loved the public bath. The rooms we stayed in were clean and had a microwave. This was our first time using a public bath but im glad we shed our clothes and experienced this traditional japanese ritual, eventhough with other bathers. it started our love of enjoying this experience throughout our 6week journey in japan. After a soak there was free little ice lollies at night and yakult type drinks in the morning. We loved that at 9.30pm there is free ramen at the restaurant. it is basic but nice.

There is only one large public bath but it is only open for women (only) for a few hours on weekends. during the week it is only for men. The residential rooms are rather small but adequate.

Spectacular helpful and efficient staff, brilliant location, wonderful facilities and amazing views from the room. The staff really were extremely helpful - even more than you would expect in a five star facility. The rooms were compact but very well appointed and had spectacular view of the River and Skytree. The foot baths, the steam baths and massage chair were a wonderful bonus. We had an amazing time there and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely nothing we disliked.

2-5 mins walk to one of many train stations in the area. My room overlooked the river and Sky Tree, awesome view. Breakfast was a mix of western and Japanese cuisine with unlimited buffet style dinning. The staff were always courteous and friendly making check-in a breeze. The cleaning lady even help me to get my washing done as all instructions were in Japanese, but she was so helpful it was done in no time.

I don't believe i can say there was anything I didn't like about the place. The only ting I can say is that the milk portions are too small, but thats all over Japan.

The hot spring facilities were excellent. I enjoyed the large natural hot springs bath. The rotemburo were a bit strange. They were one person affairs as opposed to a communal bath.

A fine location although a little bit of a walk to the Toei Asakusa Subway Line to the airport.

The view (river side) was amazing! Worth the money just for that. The staff were genuinely friendly and very accommodating and the food was really good. 5 minute walk away from Sensoji Temple and 15min walk from the Tokyo Skytree and with Asakusa station directly opposite. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The pillows are like sandbags. But the view…..

The breakfast was excellent. I was overwelmed by the breakfast, and it was one of my good memories in Japan. The room is big for 4 people and I has a balcony and the view is wonderful too. I chose this hotel because of the hots spring. I couldn't use it because it separated for women and men for different days to use it. However, they gave us the coupon for using the hot spring in other hotel within the same group. The hot spring was fantastic.

The bathroom is really small, and the lighting in the room is not bright enoungh.

I was able to leave my luggage early in the morning before check-in. And to my surprise, they put my luggage in my room when I arrived later! The room was very spacious compared to other hotels I've stayed in Tokyo so this was definitely the most comfortable stay I've had for its price for downtown Tokyo.

The lobby was very small with one single elevator, but its understandable given the location. It's just a minor nitpick

location was great and the hotel was easy to find. facilities are amazing and the staff is super friendly. they have their own public baths which is a great accommodation for a hotel already. would recommend for all travelers

leaving my key at the front desk every time i left felt like a hassle. overall a mild inconvenience especially if you're trying to get your key when a group of people are checking in.
