Centrally located to Shinjuku Gyoenmae station (about a 600 metre walk)- exit/entrance 2. NB: Entrance /Exit 3 has the lift if you have luggage. Not much further along the same no.2 platform. There is a grocery store around the corner- York Foods. The grocery store has all your needs and is reasonably priced in which if you have had a big day out, grab some sushi and head back to your room. As far as hotel rooms, they are normally quite small, however this is like a little apartment- enough storage space, hanging space and a washing machine and drying facility in the bathroom. A great place to stay when you are out and about all day. Easy to make your own breakfast in the kitchenette, having a bit of space is excellent. Clean, has all the basics done well. After all, nobody goes to Tokyo to stay in their room.

The location was convenient, the space was clean and the apartment was charming. I was so impressed that the host had a book 📕 prepared with instructions, and took the time to translate even small appliances. That was a luxury touch!

Not a bad place at all- however The bed was uncomfortable and there was no staff around to help with the check in process. I figured it out, but I wasn’t expecting to not see anyone. There were also no amenities so I had to go purchase toothpaste, and there was no hair dryer. It was a cute place, great value for money. If I go back, I will definitely be more prepared. Thanks hotel Shu!

The place is strategically located a few blocks away from the big city (Shinjuku) and train station. Love the quiet atmosphere in the hotel where loud noises and cheers coming from outside or neighbouring buildings weren’t heard. Convenient stores were located near enough where you barely need to walk effortlessly to get your goodies.

The bed is hard and pillows were only provided only in pairs. No cleaning periodically in your room. Guests are somehow expected to clean out trash by their own.

The facilities in the room available were decent. Location turned out to be ideal. It's a great space for solo travellers and couples. The bathroom was great.

I was confronted by an angry staff member who demanded to look at my key, maybe she thought I hadn't checked out in time for 10am even though I was staying another day - I didn't appreciate my day starting like that.

We loved the location as it was only 20-30 minutes away from most of our destinations. The check in and out processes were both super easy although we did have a small hiccup when checking in. The room itself was clean and had plenty of space for two people. It was lovely for a short stay.

The bed was quite hard and only had two pillows which were very flat. I recommend bringing an extra pillow if possible. If you are a foreigner remember to bring your passport or at least know your passport number as they ask for it on the check in form. The key to get in the door is in a mailbox which is to the left of the actual entrance and is not visible from the front so it took us a while to find it. The staff was only available by phone and took a while to answer but all in all they were very helpful.

The hotel is just close enough to Shinjuku where you can enjoy some nice and quiet but still be close enough to all the action. The closest station is Shinjuku-Sanchome station which is about a 10 min walk. Everything is very hands free (picking up the keys, entering the room, etc.) but the staff is VERY responsive and quick if you need any help. I’d love to stay again!

There is a bit of wear and tear in the rooms, but they are very clean and updated! It won’t bother you during your stay at all, just be aware of it. :)

Great location in Shinjuku, lovely room with kitchenette, bathroom and washing machine, had everything you needed on a quiet road off the main road.

The beds were a little uncomfortable and the space was smallish, but overall it was great.

The suite was clean and had everything required. Though, it was more on the basic side, this served well.

Not quite as close to some of the sites, so some walking required.

I liked that there was a balcony and a small kitchen plus a bathroom.

One lamp didn’t work. sofa had cigarette burn in it. No staff on site which I hadn’t realised when I booked. You can’t leave luggage here with guaranteed security. No info about local area. Very little information about how to work things eg washing machine, how to fill bath etc.
