Nice and clean, very nice staff and the room was big and nice.

It would have been nice to screenshare to the TV with your phone, but that's about it.

The pictures of the room on this site are pretty accurate to what we saw upon check-in. A simple apartment-style hotel that's convenient for those who want a great location within Shinjuku and also wish to change up their meals between homecooking, convenience store food, and restaurant eats. The supermarket York Foods is a 3 minute walk and has a great selection of produce, meats, and such - it took some doing, but one night my sister and I were able to have our own shabu-shabu dinner at home which was fun! It's an estimated 12-15 minutes to walk to the Okido gate entrance for Shinjuku National Gyoen Park and 8 minutes from the subway station to take the M line. You can also walk to Kabukicho and even to JR Shinjuku Station/Shinjuku Expressway Bus terminal, but if you want to use public transport, the 61 bus stop is RIGHT in front of the hotel's entrance and can take you to Shinjuku Station and Kabukicho.

As can be expected in most Japanese hotels and apartments, the bathroom and beds themselves can be on the smaller side, but my sister and I were comfortable. I will say that while I can typically deal with cooking with one burner/hot plate, it doesn't get too hot, so don't expect an easy boil when making shabu shabu, pasta, or soups. I even needed to adjust my usually foolproof timing for making onsen and soft boiled eggs.

GREAT location!! Super easy to find and close to the subway. The room was very large compared to our previous Tokyo stay and still reasonably priced. The bed was comfortable and having a kitchen was a plus.

The room needs to be updated. The closet doors and edges of the tables and couches were a little dingy/ ratty at the bottoms and the extra pillow case on the pillow in the closet and the extra blanket in there were dirty (with visible stains).

The size of the room is great, not the biggest fan of the bathroom but it didn't really matter. The location of the apart-hotel is brilliant, with 2 stations in under 10 mins walking distance, 2 convenience stores and a great eating / drinking street around the hotel. The hotel also has a small gym that you can use if you are staying for a long period. We spent 5 days there and were very comfortable during our stay. There was enough and more storage room in the cupboards, so that was a bonus!

They don't have glasses for water in the bedroom, but there is free drinking water and coffee at the lobby, so you need to go down and fill your own bottles for water. Another thing I noticed was a very light noise of the trains from the room- not sure if it was because we were on a lower floor but not something that was a dealbreaker.

The beds/pillows were great and everything was spotless. The staff was super helpful and plentiful. Don’t forget to ask about the grocery store nearby because they had loads of prepared food that was nice to grab after a long day sightseeing. A few coffee shops and three confidence stores were nearby. It’s a safe location and easy to navigate. We liked the quiet neighborhood where we could escape the busy section of Shinjuku. It was nearby and took it about 15 minutes to get to the station. The department store Isetan isn’t far away either and you can pick up an amazing assortment of prepared meals there in basement. At 7 pm they all go on sale so get there a few minutes early. We highly recommend this hotel. The WI-FI was outstanding. I was originally booked at a hotel with Sun in the name, the three of us would have shared a room. For just a bit more we got two apartments with full kitchens, couches to rest on and privacy. The rooms were very big too.

The Apart'hotel is well located - about 20 minute walk from the centre of Shinjuku and close to local restaurants and convenience stores. It is about a five minute walk from the Gyoen National Garden and handy for Shinjuku-gyoemmae Station. The room was fairly spacious - two good size twin beds - and was clean and neat. Towels were changed daily. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel has a decent laundry with washers and dryers and a basic gym. Wi-fi worked well. We didn't use the kitchen section at all but was a decent size and appeared to have all the basics.

The bathroom was fairly small and the hand basin isn't in the bathroom, it is in the main accommodation area which was a little odd. The TV channel choice was extremely limited with no international options and no way of viewing other services such as Netflix etc. There were also very limited USB charging points which is unhelpful in this day and age. We had an international adapter with us but it did mean we had to keep rotating things around.

we had a double and a twin room side by side for our family of 4, the rooms are quite generous size for Japan and we appreciated the extra space with small couch and small table so that we could sit together as a family. The kitchenette was very useful too. The bathroom, whilst small, was very clean and serviceable. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. Although it is a 10-15 walk to the station (depending how fast you walk!) we think this was more than offset by the larger rooms and the great price, as compared to other hotels we considered closer to central Shinjuku

The hotel was on one of the main streets in Shinjuku, you just have to walk about 15 minutes to get to the action. The apartment was a good size for two of us. Having the kitchen facilities was great but we didn't end up using it much thanks to the convenience store next door. They can heat up your food for you. Citadines helped us to forward our bags to our next stop for us. The bed was comfortable. Very happy with our stay.

The breakfast wasn't that great, but we hadn't paid for it and just had it on one morning - it was cheap so we think it's good value.

We booked this hotel as its rooms seemed much larger than the standard small rooms in Japan and we were looking for a western sized bed. We were definitely right to do this as the rooms are huge, with plenty of space. The beds are so giant you don’t know there’s another person in there with you and they are super comfy. Just what you want after getting off a long flight. We also found the staff super friendly and helpful. The location is also really good. It’s a 5ish minute walk to a metro station, there is a bus outside and it’s a 20 mins walk to the main Shinjuku area, but there are plenty of places much closer than that.

It’s a shame there’s no bar at this hotel but honestly it’s not a deal breaker. There are plenty of places around.

The size of the room is big compared with most of the hotels in Tokyo. We stayed 6 nights and travel to some outlying areas in Tokyo. It's more fit for staying more than 4 nights ( as it takes 15 mins walk from busy area in Shinjuku) in Tokyo as one probably don't want a very small room, or you travel with kids which needs a bigger room We did some simple cooking 1-2 days, and there's a super market nearby.

Location is considered a bit far (15 mins) if one would go in and out more than one time a day. There are some local eateries, but of course choice wise not many compared with central shinjuku.
