Great to soak in spa after a long day's walk! The TV shows in icons how crowded the spa is so you can decide when to go. Room is small but has everything I need. Convenient location. Short walk to Shinjuku Gyoemmae station which is 2 stops to Shinjuku station. Eateries and 7-11, Family Mart near hotel. Shinjuku Gyoen National garden (admission fee 500 yen) just behind the hotel is a must see, especially for cherry blossoms. The cafe in the garden has delicious Japanese food with a lovely garden view. If you have heavy luggage, a taxi from Shinjuku Station to hotel is 700 yen.

Single Room is very small. Window view is wall of next building but to be be expected. Not a room to hang around in but just to sleep. My luggage too thick to tuck under the bed. Not much space to walk when luggage is open. Beware there are a few exits from Shinjuku Gyoemmae station but each is for a different train direction. Room was next to store so could hear the chambermaids talking in the morning. Sound insulation could be better.

The room was small but it had a lot of amenities inside like robes and slippers. And the VOD movies were also free. The staff were very friendly and able to answer all questions.

There is a large counter in between the guests and the staff in the lobby so it was awkward you either having to shout across this awkwardly placed counter to check in or they would come right around the counter to be able to speak to you. The lighting was very dark in the hallways to the rooms and the lights would flicker. I feel like the lobby was really nice but then the rooms and hallways were average.

The most comfortable bed we stayed in yet! Location was also great! Public onsen was also an awesome free amenity!

Not the cheapest option in the area - but worth it in our opinion!

Close to metro station. Close to the City center (major sightseeings in this area). They have their own onsen (spa). The room was very clean and with lots of small things that makes your stay comfortable (kimono, hair dryer, toothbrush, shaver etc...) Oh btw - the hair conditioner that they put in the bathrooms is great - I have no clue what they put into it but it does all best for your hair !

The booking proces takes a bit longer - there arethese fancy scanning maschines but in the end the guy had to take my passport and do it manyally himself.

Room is small as expected. but the public bath at the basement was a BIG PLUS. comfy hot bath! location is actually pretty good... it's close to the center but yet far enough to have a quiet neigbourhood.

since we need to leave Tokyo for climbing Mount Fuji, we needed to check out and check in again to the same hotel three days apart. unfortunately, the hotel did not allow us to store our luggages there for three days even though we would check in again. their policy is only allow same day storage. would have been much better if we did not need to store our luggages at the train station around 10 mins away from the hotel.

The location is perfect! t's super close to all the main attractions and train stations in Shinjuku. Now, the room is VERY SMALL! But it is manageable if you are by yourself! It's definitely worth the price! Although, I couldn't enjoy any of the facilities. Couldn't use the baths because I have tattoos (I was aware of it), and is nearly impossible to use the laundry! it's never empty. BUT... (for me) the location and price beats everything else!

You can't use the baths if you have tattoos, and the laundry is impossible to use, because it is never empty.

Very cheap getting from Haneda aiport to the hotel using the Haneda Airport Limousine to 'Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal' and then taking a 4 minute taxi to the hotel (can even walk it if no luggage) - About 15 minute walk from Shinjuku station (can take in all the sights while walking) - Very close the Shinjuku Gyoen (about 5 minutes walk from the entrance gate) - Close to Shinjuku Gyoemma station which serves the Marunouchi line - No problems with the room, good for solo traveller - Lots of convience stores nearby

Exactly what you would expect for a solo traveller room. 2 suitcases in the room is a bit of a squeeze but this is Japan what do you expect. - I didn't mind the approx 10-15 minute walk to Shinjuku station but please keep this in mind if walking is an issue

We were greeted with free Sochu at check in, very nice start. The staff all speaks English very well and were very helpful when we needed to find a taxi for the airport. The hotel had several laundry machines, which was very nice because our previous hotel did not have very many and were always in use by other guests. The location of this hotel was close walk to the Shinjuku city life! Such as golden gai bar town. It was also close to a few different train and subway lines. It was easy to find our way to other parts of Tokyo from here. Unfortunately, we did not have time to use the hotel bath but it looked very nice.

The hotel has 3 elevators and 1 one in repair while we were there--but it was fixed quickly.

Great location and value for the price, it was a good "base" for our exploring. It's true the rooms are small, but this should be expected for Tokyo. The room and bathroom are very efficiently designed, so we had plenty of room for luggage, toiletries, etc. The beds were very comfortable.

I'm from the US and am used to larger bathrooms, but, again, very efficiently designed, so I didn't mind at all. If you have huge luggage you might have issues with storage space, but you should be able to store at the front desk if that applies to you.

Staff was very friendly and between their bit of English and our bit of Japanese we were able to communicate with no issues. Location is about a 10-minute walk to Shinjuku Station with many convenience stores and restaurants in the area. Room was very compact but well thought out. Not the biggest fan of the pillows but the bed was very comfy and we had all the toiletries we needed. Despite being in busy Shinjuku it was fairly quiet. On-site laundry came in handy as well.

I do wish people with tattoos were allowed to use the on-site spa area - it looked really nice! Also, I understand not cleaning the room every day (and I prefer it that way), but it doesn't seem very eco-friendly to leave a plastic bag with a full set of clean towels, yukata, cups, etc. at the door every day. Most people can use those things for several days.
