Perfect location, 10 mins walk to Shinjuku station and a 7/11 just down the road. A great price for being so central. Very clean rooms and shared spaces with all the amenities you may need. It was very quiet when I stayed, there was max 3 people in my 6 bed dorm across my entire stay so it was very easy to sleep with no disturbance. Friendly staff who are more than happy to help with any questions you may have. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will return if I’m ever visiting Tokyo.

The lightbulbs in the bedrooms could be a little brighter, but I appreciate they are probably on the dim side for if people are leaving through the night/early morning.

Really good location - felt safe as a solo female taveller. I was never out late thought, so dont know how its like during late evening/ night. i recommend reading up on the Kabukicho area before going, if you dont want to go there its easy to stay away. If you are i female i would 100% recommend the female only doorms, they had an entire floor for female only, which were so much nicer and smelled much better than the mixed gender dorm floor. I really liked the bed, as opposite to other reviews. also good ventilation we were only between 1-3 on the 6 persons doorm, but the room was spaceous.

could have provided laundry detergent (if not for a fee) - not a lot of backpackers have this or want to buy a whole bottle. could have been more sofaes/ nice chairs to sit in in the common area. The sofa and chair thats there now aint clean. maybe offer some social events check-in felt unpersonal could provide free towels

Very convenient to elevator access to the metro. Shinjuku line - C6 (5 min walk). Fukutoshin line - E2 (5 min walk). Convenient to a 24 hr supermarket and multiple convenience stores. Relatively straight forward walk to JR shinjuku as well. Family friendly - we were a party of 3 adults and a 2 year old and it was comfortable. The elevator just barely for us all in plus stroller.

The floor was concrete and unfinished so there were random divets in the floor. The bed was comfortable if you're a back sleeper - but I'm a side sleeper and it was uncomfortable on my shoulder. It does take a bit to figure out the heater/AC. The walls are thin and the doors loud (it's just the way it closes so it locks) so you can hear the whole floor opening and closing their doors.

The bed was comfy and the privacy curtains were thick enough to ensure you sleep without a lot of distractions. Check-in and check-out wasn't a problem at all since I also had to leave 5:30 in the morning. There were a lot of bathrooms so it wasn't difficult at all to find a spot of my own. The price is great given the setup.

I had to put my own sheet on the bed. Maybe I haven't stayed in enough hostels but this is a very minor setback for the price you pay. The location will need some walking every time whether via subway/train and bus.

Mould in bathroom Bed feels like a rock - so painful! Pillow also super hard Wi-Fi drops out a lot - doesn’t work Clothes Dryer doesn’t work - on for two hours for one load & still wet Door handle/lock system is so loud and constantly wakes you up You can hear everything and everyone

The location is excellent for staying in Tokyo, the A7 exit of Shinjuku Sanchome is only 5 minutes away on foot. Close to the Golden Gai and Shinjuku Gyoen as well. Reception is open pretty much all hours and there is a friendly bar located downstairs, they even play music some nights in the week. Decent washing facilities and there is a laundry room located on the 4th floor.

Mattresses in the dorm rooms were a little on the thin side. I woke up a few times due to mild discomfort but it wasn't the worst. I didn't see any kitchen facilities beside a microwave and a tabletop grill. This wasn't a problem for me as I ate out everyday but it's something that someone on a strict budget might want to account for.

Great location for first time travellers to Tokyo, easy to get to the nearest metro station or stick around the local area (some cool late-night spots only a walk away!). Clean bathrooms and good shower facilities. The female only floor had a nice sofa area to sit on and meet other travellers. The other floors had large tables and chairs for gathering as a group. Downstairs the dining area was a great place to meet in the morning/ evening - the staff even gave us a free shot one night!

No where to store your bags (usually there’s space by your bed or outside the bedroom), so bags had to be kept next to the bunk beds (blocking walk ways) or in the bunks so you couldn’t lie comfortably.

In classic Japanese fashion, this hostel was super clean yet homey. I really appreciated how there were multiple bathrooms per floor and that each bathroom had private toilet and shower rooms, instead of it feeling like a locker room. The rooms themselves are standard hostel rooms - there are no lockers but like most hostels, you keep your suitcase near your bed and the rooms themselves require keycard access. The location is in a peaceful area about an 8 min walk from the subway and a 3 min walk to Shinjuku. Overall a positive experience

I booked a day in advance and paid 50usd/night which is steep for a hostel even in a big city

Great location within ~15 min walking distance from Shinjuku station. Relatively quiet rooms with clean bathrooms, shower room, and kitchen. They take hygiene and safety seriously. Breakfast was good. Nothing special but you can't go wrong with cheese grilled chicken sandwich with a cup of coffee to start the day.

Sometimes, guys walk around with only their underwear in the hallway. Watch out. Checking in was a pain in the ass even though we booked a room in advance. We had to take photos of our passports and fill out a form. But it is what it is.

Great customer service in both English and Japanese. The staff are very honest and fun. Good culture with an open lounge, and daily events. The beds are spacious. Rooms are secure. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff was present 24/7.

The beds lack airflow making it very hot. The bathrooms aren't super clean, specifically the sink area and toilet (showers were fine). No lockers inside the room for belongings. The towel is not included despite paying a lot, the rental price is 200 yen.
