Room had the basic things I needed which were a bed, bathroom fridge and shower. had to to myself, but if you have to share it might feel cramped. Wifi worked for the end of the day when it was time to relax and upload photos. Staff was friendly, there was a lounge area to heat up your food and eat, along with free beverages. Convenience stores nearby for when you want to grab a cheap/quick bite to eat. The hotel had 1 washer and dryer and luckily it was available when I needed it. It was about a 10 minute walk from the train station and shopping district, and even closer to an incredible mall if you love anime.

Staffs were so friendly and polite. We had a lot of luggages, and when I reached the hotel, I rang the interphone and one of the staffs came outside to show us where the elevator is. The room was very small but was clean, and there were pajamas, and there were also cute bags with amenities (small towel and toothbrush) for the kids in the room. At the reception area, there were free amenities like tea bags, shower caps, and even powder for hot bath to relax. On the 1st floor, there is a cafe area where you can sit and enjoy food or drinks you bring (and there is free coffee and soft drinks there all day) so the room was super small but we did not feel any issue. The location was excellent too, close to everything you want to see in Ikebukuro.

Nothing but maybe some tourists might feel the room is too small... but considering their service and location, it totally worth what you pay for!

Very convient location. Walking distance from many restaurants, the train station, sunshine city mall and many other activities. Many convince stores nearby. Several useful amenities to choose from. Private bathroom and bathtub/shower. Overall wonderful stay for couple, small family or atleast 2 friends travelling together. Would happily return to this hotel.

The vending machine good options didn't seem that great, especially when you compare to all the restaurants nearby, and the juice machine and coffee machine need to be serviced more often as the hot water and general upkeep of the coffee machine was not working for 2 of the 3 days we stayed in the hotel. And the same for the orange juice on the juice machine. Aside from those minor inconveniences the hotel is absolutely wonderful.

The location is fantastic; it’s so easy to get around Tokyo :) The staff made our stay what it was; everyone was so kind and helpful! We were allowed to check in early, which we really appreciated after not being lucky enough to sleep on a 12 hour flight. They also helped us to arrange a taxi to Tokyo station, when we came to check out of the hotel. The rooms are small, as you would expect from a hotel in Tokyo, but you have everything you need in the room. There are also some fantastic free amenities in the hotel. It really feels like the hotel goes out of its way to give everyone the best experience.

The hotel has all the facilities and amenities expected of a hotel. It has a coin washing machine and dryer at L1. 24-hour reception and staff were nice to assist in Luggage forwarding service (form-filling and send off).

It’s a bit of a walk from Ikebukuro station about 15-20mins. It’s 5mins away from Sunshine city. There is a 7-11 nearby and a 24-hour supermarket. There is a flight of stairs from street level to Reception desk which is at B1. One washing machine and one dryer for the entire hotel so late night laundry takes a while as the machines were always in use.

This hotel was exactly as per the photos and reviews on Booking.com. A great stay in Ikebukuro, super close to Ikebukuro Station, there is a 7-11 just a few steps away which was super handy. Our room was a little small but once we got settled and put the bags under the bed it created a lot more room. The staff were super friendly. I found having the washer and dryer so handy, it just meant we were up to date on washing our clothes. The kitchen on Level 1 was also a bonus. We were refreshed with new towels every single day. Overall a great place to stay and I would recommend staying there. 10/10.

Friendly and helpful staff, close to train station, clean, and an eating area with vending machines and drink machines for tea, coffee, cola etc too was a really good addition.

The only thing I didn’t like was the incredibly small size of the room. As a family of three and the two beds together taking up most of the space in the room, it was very impractical and was frustrating that we could barely move around, constantly trying to step around each other and hardly room for luggage too. So in that sense, it was not comfortable.

It was very cosy and cute, very welcoming. We were exhausted after fleeing a very bad housing experience and did a very last minute booking here in the middle of the night, without problem. The staff was very welcoming and kind, and the room, although small, was very comfortable, clean and it helped us finishing our stay in Japan on a good note. The location is fantastic too, very convenient in the heart of Ikebukuro. Will definitively come back in the future !

The AC was quite noisy, but maybe it was us who didn't manage to control it properly. We still slept well!

Loved the location, so close to a major shopping center - Sunshine Plaza as well as many other shops, cafes and restaurants. Major train station less than 10 minutes walk as well. The hotel was clean, had everything we need but the room was tiny, no shelves or wardrobe. But apart from that it was great.

Lack of space in room, could not unpack anything as there was no where to put clothes etc.

Absolutely loved the location and how friendly the staff were. There were also a lot of free rentable items and amenities which made life easy in the rooms! If you are travelling around Japan and don’t want to carry your suitcases around, I also suggest utilising their Ta-Q-bin service to send your luggage for next day delivery to avoid carrying it on your train journey.

the toilet slightly was leaking and the wall next to the bed wasn’t cleaned (looked like snot on the wall). other than those two things however, no qualms at all.
