Really cool room - very minimalist, very clean, almost dystopian themed vibe - the staff were young and cool and the burger bar downstairs did really great breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Good facilities - heated toilets in the bigger rooms, a place to wash and dry your clothes and good wifi. Great value for money for Tokyo and just a 6 or 7 minute walk to Shibuya station on the Yamanote line

The shared space on the top floor needs a bit more work to make it comfortable - a snack vending machine would be nice in there - at the moment it just has drinks vending machines with a very limited range of drinks in them.

Room was very small but worked fine for my friend and I, and we appreciated having a sink in the room for brushing our teeth. The bedroom was very clean and the linens were changed once during our 4 day stay. Enough bathroom facilities on our floor that I never had to wait for a shower. Good location, close to the heart of Shibuya but on a quiet street with no noise outside the window, and overall I feel this hotel was very worthwhile for the price I paid.

My only real complaint about this property is that the lights in the hallway outside the bedroom were extremely bright and harsh - like blindingly so, and they were not lowered during the night at all. Meaning that if I had to get up to use the bathroom in the night it would wake up everyone in the room because of how bright it was. Minor complaint all in all, but it did make an impact on our stay since I usually need to get up at least once in the night.

Location was good, the room was quite small but just enough for two people who just use the room for sleeping and getting ready. The over all vibe of the hotel was really modern and young. The breakfast vouchers for the restaurant downstairs were super great! The common room upstairs was also great and never too crowded.Bathroom & shower rooms had everything you need.

The only thing that slightly bothered me was how bright the lighting was in the hallways even at night. If you want to get up at night to go to the bathroom everyone in the same room will for sure wake up when you open the door XD

coming in as a big group, loved our stay at Mustard Hotel. the rooms were simple, all white but generally clean and relaxing. 6 of our teenagers stayed at the 6-bed dorm type, the other older ones stays at 2-bed bunkers. Hotel staff made sure rooms were close to each other. We thought common bathrooms would be an issue for us but there are enough, zero wait time. 7th floor common kitchen has enough ammenities for self-serve meals. Hotel location for us was key, it may come with a 10-min walk to both shibuya and ebisu but pleasantly you have access to neighborhood restos, cafe, convinience store and even a vintage record store. Lastly, staff try their best all the time from the lobby to the cafe Chillmatic. I would recommend this for big groups/family aiming for functional, efficient, affordable lodging with high-speed wifi and open to experience what local neighborhood has to offer visitors

In a perfect location, walkable to Shibuya, Harajuku, Ebisu & Daikanyama which is especially great for the evenings as you are not stuck to getting the last train. There are so many great places to shop & eat near the hotel as well. The rooms are small but have everything you need and all the staff are super helpful and friendly.

We stayed for 14 days and they clean your room 3 times for environmental reasons. This is fine but it would be great if they could sweep the floor or change the bins in the room more regularly, especially as the bin in quite small :). However, if you do need new towels you can just ask at the front desk!

If you plan to stay around Shibuya, the location is really good. It is 15 minutes easy walk from the station, there is number of restaurants around and also quite big grocery store 3 minutes away(if you are on tight budget, you can come here after 21:00 and they have plenty of food on discount) The room was clean, quiet and beds were confortable Shared bathroom was clean, spacious and provided enough privacy Nice common area with fridge, microwave, TV Tasty breakfast (the portion was rather small, so you might want to buy always something extra in the evening for the next morning - grocery store opens a bit late)

If you plan to travel to different cities, you might consider choosing a hotel close to Tokyo or Shinagawa station, where most of trains are available. Otherwise it will take you an extra 30 minutes to get there and then back The room is pretty small, so there is not much space to store your luggage unless it can fit under the bed

The hotel has everything we need. Our family of 3 (with a young child) fitted in the room becuase that was the requirement when I was looking for accommodation. The photos of the hotel from the internet and social media is the same as what we saw. The rooms had enough power sockets so when we come back we can charge our gadgets. Bonus is that it has a laundry room so we can wash our clothes. The restaurant at the lobby served good burgers! The staff are friendly and quick to respond to querries.

I wish the rooms had a TV - it's nice to have but not really a deal breaker. Aside from that, overall experience is good.

Location was in a quiet spot very close to Shibuya station, there were many shops to dine at and explore in the immediate surrounds. The staff are friendly, super English proficient and always had some good tunes playing at reception. The room we were in was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. We stayed here for our anniversary and Mollie hooked us up with a free breakfast and later check-out on our last day. Not only that she spent time helping us look at booking tickets for Fuji-Q and was super helpful with all our queries.

The room did get quite hot when the sun shone through the window, the sunshade did help but I imagine it would get quite hot during the summer even with the aircon on. Basic amenities like a toothbrush/razor weren’t provided which was fine for us as we would not have used them but it may be something others would consider.

This hotel has a really cool, minimalist vibe. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom and a little more space, which was definitely the right choice for us. The staff were all very friendly! They helped answer any questions we had, and they all spoke enough basic English that we could communicate when the language barrier was challenging. Very close to Shibuya station and nightlife!

There was nothing we didn’t like, but though it’s close to very popular tourist attractions, the actual hotel is in a quieter spot that surprised us when we first arrived. Still very safe, though!

Great location, only a 10 minute walk from Shibuya station. This hotel was great value, I stayed at the start and end of my two week Japan trip and I would stay again. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfy and the wifi service was great. There is a restaurant attached to the lobby of the hotel which was really convenient.

The facilities in the shared girls bathroom were great, the showers and toilets were clean and they even had hair dryers however I did notice that there was quite a bit of hair on the floor but I guess this is to be expected when sharing bathrooms.
