Check-in worked without problems and the staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast with soup. My luggage could be stored on the day of arrival and departure. Good value for money and good location near Asakusa shrine.

The room was quite small for the number of people sleeping there. It was not as clean as in other hostels I visited in Japan, but still acceptable.

Really great location in a very popular part of town, close to great places to eat, drink and try all kinds of things. Bunk beds are fine, rooms are kept clean and the staff does a good job maintaining the bathrooms. The breakfast is super basic (literally bread with margarine and some jams), but the soup they offer with it is very tasty. It's short on any kind of protein, but has good flavor.

I was initially booked into a room in the basement with 8 beds and I think had I not immediately gone back to the front desk and requested a different room, my view on this place would be totally different. It smelled bad down there and was wet. The guy working at the front desk was rude and curt. None of the staff spoke English perfectly, but the women were kind and worked to solve problems. The man seemed overworked and underpaid and generally was uninterested in being helpful.

I had been in Tokyo for 2 weeks at 5 different hostels. This is the first one where I made friends with other travellers. The hostel seems to specialise in bringing people together. It attracts friendly travellers and the common room is spacious enough to let people get to know each other. Clean and handy facilities. Friendly senior staff, though the trainees need some more help. Lots of good bars and little things to do around the area.

There's a few trainees at the moment who seem to be left on their own a little bit. I think they need some more help before they're left entirely alone because some things at reception or restocking get a little missed.

I stayed here before. The latest experience was much much better. The common room was less noisier. This time I did not have people that treat common room like their personal frat house. I was able to work on my laptop peacefully. I guess it depends on luck. The facilities were great and clean as usual (beds, room, bathroom, etc). No complains.

Just a small nitpick. Way too many people came to breakfast around same time. Coffee ran out fast and had to wait a while for new ones to brew. Its a testament to how popular this hostel is. Best to store your own drink the night before in fridge.

Great location. For those who like to visit temple, here is a really big one. Shops selling souvernirs are everywhere. Food are also great. Dorm room is big enough for 8 persons.

Unlike Osaka Picnic Hostel(a few meters from Sakuragawa Station), this hostel would let people to walk into the room wearing the same shoes you walk on the street which is not good, especially during this pandemic.

The bedding was very cozy (Japanese style kakefuton blankets) and the breakfast options were limited but very tasty. They sold subway passes at the front desk which were extremely useful and eased the trouble of buying tickets at the stations. Guests are generally nice; I didn’t end up using one of the padlocks they offered for my bags and nothing bad happened.

Roommates could be noisy or annoying so bring earplugs just in case. Also location could be difficult since Senso-ji and Nakamise-dori are extremely crowded, so getting from the hostel to the subway or vice versa was hard at first. Both are easy work-arounds and not the fault of the property.

The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. I paid £21 for a night stay here and it included breakfast which I think is a great bargain. The bed is actually surprisingly comfortable and spacious with a curtain for privacy. I'd recommend staying here as it's super close to lots of traditional japanese izakaya for great food and night life. Sensoji temple is around a 7 minute walk away, despite being close to a big tourist attraction the streets surrounding the hostel aren't too busy or touristic.

I shared a room with 7 other people, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but 2 were snoring so loud it was hard to sleep (of course not blaming the hostel, but maybe bring earplugs incase)

Perfect location, nearby all the tourist sites in Asakusa. Good bathroom facilities, good security, staff are friendly and are conversational in English. It has a spacious common area (with a piano) that doubles as a cafe/restaurant.

The room I was in smelled a bit stuffy, despite our room having 2 windows for ventilation. The wifi was inconsistent/erratic during my stay, but I'm not sure if it's always like that. A good 15 minute walk from the nearest train station.

Friendly staff at check in. I want to give a special thanks to Rie and Hide Ishihara-san and the rest of the staff. This place is great if you like to meet people, discover things about Asakusa and communicate. I found this place the best in my travels across Japan due to meeting locals and other foreigners. Location is right in the heart of Asakusa (ie : Senso-ji Temple, Kaminarimon and Nakamise-Dori. Festivals aka Sanja Matsuri in May, Deep History, Food and walkable streets. Asakusa is a must visit coming to to Tokyo if not all Japan.

Location is off JR line but there is a couple of independent lines like Tsukuba(closest to hostel), Ginza and Asakusa to get to where you need to. Can be noisy at times but this wasn't an issue for me. Watch out for cars and bicycles!

The location is great and you are just 2 min from Senso-Ji. Saw it in the early morning and at night. Just so convenient. Near to asakusa station and convenient stores and supermarkets too. It is clean. It has a professional kitchen which you can cook in. A somewhat social place. Not too sociable but I managed to make friends with some people. This is a simple free breakfast with bread and soup. Beverages are tea and coffee and lemon water.

It isn't super social somewhat. You have to make your own bed but is ok. The card key is a bit inconvenient. I almost lost it. The wifi is slow.
