Amazing buffet breakfast, clean and quiet, nice views of the Sky Tower, friendly staff. Clean rooms with great water pressure and hot water

Room was accurate to pictures, family of four in four single beds that felt a little like a dorm. Lots of pictures of the pool but found out using it would cost extra and pool no kids allowed

This hotel has been my last stop on many a trip to Japan. It is well located for last minute shopping and an easy walk to the subway -G18, if you want to get about Tokyo. The rooms are more spacious than most, and the ones on the executive levels facing the Sky Tree are my favourite. There are no hot baths at the hotel, however the bathroom is a decent size so you have enough room to relax. The hotel has laundry facilities on the 5th floor. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and the variety is really very good. You can enjoy lovely walks around the area and it feels very safe. For instance, I regularly jog down around Ueno station and also over to the Sky Tree before all the tourists make their way out. There are some very cool little restaurants all around, and some of the best are located on the Ueno side behind the hotel, so don’t always head towards the temple side. The beds are comfortable, with fluffy robes, as well as yukatas, and a check out time of 12pm. The best feature has to be the view out over Tokyo towards the Sky Tree.

I wish there was an onsen. That would just propel this hotel into the next level.

What a insane view. The hotel felt very posh and the rooms felt pretty cozy. Not too big not too small. The lounge wear was nice, the bathroom felt very advanced and the bed was nice and comfy. Loved the location. I was on the 16th floor and felt on top of the world.

The bathroom smelled a little strange? I think bath tub wasn't caulked correctly, and I think mold was growing behind it's seams and edges? I wish there was a bottle opener in the room. The view is nice but it gets really hot really quickly in the room and the Air condition/heater system didn't seem to work.

The view was great, the room was comfortable, and the location was good.

We wish there was a public bath or an upgraded bathroom with separate tub and shower. The hotel seemed a little overpriced for the value we received.

The view from our room was great, we were happy with the location as well. The station right next to the hotel is the railway station so we haven't used it much, it's 7-10 minutes to walk to closest subway station, Tawaramachi. You can easily walk to the historical sights nearby. Ueno area/station is also very close. You can walk there in 20 minutes. Right next to the hotel is a great convenience shop which we shopped at all the time. Breakfast was fine too. Overall we were very happy with this hotel.

I wished that the matresses on the beds would be softer. Cables behind the beds could be hidden much better. Other than that nothing comes to mind. It's a great hotel.

We have stayed at the Asakusa View hotel in the past and the most awesome thing is the view! We had a direct view of the Sky Tree and it is simply breathtaking! We also love the location as it is an easy walk to Sensoji Temple, Kappa-bashi, etc. Also close to subway entrances. The other wonderful thing was their buffet breakfast on the 26th floor...delicious and amazing!

The biggest thing that stood out for me was the service has declined since our last visit. We got conflicting information on the Airport Limosine Bus service (regarding how long it takes to Haneda) from two different people on two different days, the concierge was not able to help us (he said they don't make reservations for restaurants off property) with dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant, and the rooms are a bit dated and smelled like cigarette smoke (even though they are supposedly all non-smoking rooms).

Asakusa View Hotel, located in the heart of Tokyo, offers guests spacious and clean accommodations that cater to their needs. The hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction is evident in its willingness to accommodate special requests, such as providing a prayer mat. This attention to detail enhances the overall experience, making guests feel welcome and at home. The hotel boasts stunning views of the Tokyo Skytree, a highlight for many visitors. Gazing upon the iconic landmark from the comfort of one's room adds a touch of magic to the stay. Overall, Asakusa View Hotel provides a pleasant experience with its spacious rooms, attention to guest needs, and fantastic views. However, an improved breakfast selection would elevate the stay to an even higher level of satisfaction.

The hotel's breakfast, however, could benefit from some variety. During my stay, the menu remained unchanged, which made the meal experience monotonous after a few days. Introducing a rotating selection of dishes would help keep things interesting and cater to guests with longer stays.

The rooms were comfortable, and kept well supplied and very clean throughout our stay. For the family this really represented excellent value for money. Tokyo was very hot when we were there, and to come back to well air-conditioned rooms and a swimming pool that was immaculate and so well maintained and equipped, was a real bonus. As is often the case, bring a swimming cap. It has an excellent in-house bakery on the ground floor. The staff were always helpful, and it is clearly popular with Japanese travellers too.

There is a roof top bar which affords excellent views across the river but is not well advertised. It closes at about 8.30 but is pleasant. Beyond that it is difficult to find fault with this well-priced hotel in an interesting neighbourhood - very handy for the National Museum area for example.

This was a really great location in terms of surrounding shops, restaurants and the local sights. The nightlife is always bustling and we were able to catch the samba festival during the day. We had a city view which was such a treat to witness at sunset and into the evening. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay in Asakusa again, everything you wanted was close by.

The rooms are quite tight with luggage and the bed was smaller than most of our other stays, for two people it was quite a squash and a squeeze. We also had quite a loud air conditioning vent that I think needed some maintenance and the sound was irritating.
