Great location in Asakusa, next to Senso-Ji. We got upgraded to a top floor room with great views of the temple and SkyTree tower. Clean and comfortable bed. Room comes with the usual amenities (pyjamas, slippers, kettle).

The room was a bit on the small size, especially when trying to fit two adults and two (not that big) suitcases. If you can afford it, the sister hotel (Richmond Premier International) just opposite has bigger rooms.

Location is awesome! Close to the train stations, close to food, close to shopping and sensoji! Super convenient. They gave me a room with awesome view too!

I had very bad dust allergy attack as the rooms were initially pretty dusty especially the curtains. However, they did a thorough cleaning after my complain and it was so much better.

The location is ideal for a stay in Asakusa. It is very near the main temple complex and is a convenient place to travel to if arriving from Narita airport. The room was small, as is often standard for Tokyo hotel rooms, but is was comfortable and everything worked. The amenities were practical and useful and the modular bathroom was of a good standard. Cleaning of the room and linen changes were done well and efficiently

It would have been useful to have a security safe in the room. The buffet breakfast was adequate and the quality reasonable. It was slightly below expectations and monotonous during a long stay.

The location is great for Tokyo visitors. You can easily get to both Haneda and Narita on the subway from Asakusa. It is a no frills hotel with small rooms, typical of Japan. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves a buffet breakfast and has some European options. A few of the staff speak English but google translate works well. There is a coin laundry in the hotel. It is good value for money compared to other hotels in Tokyo.

The location was excellent, a little too touristy at times with Senso-ji temple literally just up the street, but close to other attractions like Skytree, Ueno Park, and Akihabara. Convenient since we came with a bunch of teenagers. We weren't expecting much space having stayed in typical tiny Japanese businessman hotels before, but the room was surprisingly comfortable enough for 2 parents and a teenager.

The television in the room could've had some English language channels/programs like CNN or Netflix maybe. Having only Japanese programming, though interesting at times, can get tiresome quickly.

- Great location in Asakusa, friendly staff and near the shrine, tourist gift shops, a fabulous coffee shop 2 min walk away plus ample places to eat for lunch/dinner. - Beds are comfortable and in the reception area there are lots of free bits such as: travel tooth brush/toothpaste, razor etc. - Luggage shuttle service available.

- I found a few black hairs on the bathroom floor.

Convenient location in Asakusa, Tokyo, and close to train, subway, sites, restaurants of Asakusa and nearby areas. I stayed here 2 nights for my return back to Tokyo from Kyoto to be in another part of the city (initially stayed in Shinjuku this trip). Friendly and professional staff. A VERY clean hotel. My room was comfortable and I had a great view of the city and at the end of the common area hallway on my floor there was a fantastic view of the Temple especially at night. As clean as it is, there will need to be some light updating done here-and-there sometime in the future, such as the upstairs common area carpeting and perhaps common areas decor. But with the attentive staff and noticing how thorough the cleaning staff works, I felt very comfortable staying here. I liked the fact that the rooms weren't super modern as a super modern style dates quicker. I really liked the room aesthetic, was very comfortable. I purchased breakfast one morning and it was good, I ate nearby on the other morning. This hotel is a very good value. Easy to walk out the door to the world of Asakusa.

Maybe they will have to update some of the decor in time, such as upstairs common area carpeting, etc. Breakfast had many choices, I did not pre-purchase before travel. Decided to eat nearby second morning.

Excellent area. I'm convinced this hotel is the best in terms of WHERE to stay. Many times we ventured out to shibuya or shinjuku or harijuku or akihabara and ended up coming back to asakusa early. It's a touristy area but so much quieter than the other touristy areas, plus it is absolutely gorgeous and there are some amazing food options in the area. Other things I liked- shipping bags directly to the next hotel from the front desk, prompt and strict laundry rules for equitable use of the laundry machines, proximity to restaurants/attractions VERY close to 2 major subway stations (asakusa and tawaramachi station) which were easily connected to the major lines. Also, it's only 1 single train from narita Airport to the hotel, so it was super easy to find when we were beginners with Japan's subway system on our first night there.

Hotel is a bit older/dated but honestly it's clean and the price is really great for the location and city.

This was my second stay here. The pluses are pretty much the same as before. Big room for Tokyo. Great location - Asakusa is a good home base for visitors, and this hotel is right in the center of all the action. Two subway stations are close by, and you can get to other parts of Tokyo easily. In addition, there is a direct express train to Narita from Asakusa station.

My room's bathroom smelled funny. It varied throughout the stay, but sometimes, it was really strong. It didn't leak into the rest of the room, so I didn't complain. Housekeeping was also a bit spotty during my stay. For example, I did not get my towels changed after the first night there. I think this may have had to do with a staffing shortage due to the Lunar New Year holiday, which was spring my stay.

The basic requirements were met perfectly, a selection of vending machines including alcohol, a laundry room with easy to use washer/dryers. The hotel also offered other services as required. They had an onsite restaurant too.

One computer for the use of guests in the lobby, language was fixed as Japanese so difficult if not impossible to use for non-japanese speakers. Please teach staff to switch it to the required language. That's it, a minor issue.
