Great location--a few minutes walk to the nearest train station. It's in a quiet neighborhood with food and souvenir shops + convenience stores nearby. Spacious rooms and shared bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained. Beds are comfy--though pillows can be a little bigger :) Free towels included in our room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Appreciate the simple breakfast in the morning. The wifi can be problematic at times, but it's tolerable. :) Would stay here again!

We loved the fresh air circulating through the hotel. We loved being able to eat our breakfast on the little balcony right on the street where we could watch the world passing by. Our room had a window we could open wide. The bathrooms were spotless, the 24/7 reception is essential when arriving from the airport. We knew it didn't matter how delayed our flight may be, we'd still have a bed at the end of it. We love the cafe and the free breakfast. Value for money is exceptional. Location is also brilliant - short walk to Nippori Station which is one of the stations where the Narita Skytrain stops. The rooms are remarkably quiet. Ours was on a side street, and we heard nothing. Either the other guests are very well behaved or the walls have great insulation, because we never heard noise from any of the other rooms, or in the corridors. The staff are exceptionally helpful and polite. We were able to store a bag there until we retuned to the hotel at the end of our Japan trip. We have stayed at Sakura Nippori on previous trips, and will do so again. I recommend it to anyone I know travelling to Tokyo. The tatami rooms are lovely. I slept SO well!

It was in a surprisingly good location, as long as you're willing to put in the work to push/pull your luggage to the hotel. This area is very retro and homey - I enjoyed the nearby shops and restaurants immensely. In the hotel, they have luggage storage, and a quick check in. The staff are very helpful and from what I can see, all speak English. I got a twin bunk room to myself (which I asked and paid for), and luckily they put me on the top floor in the quietest room. Shower stalls are coed, but quite comfortable with shampoo/body soap provided, and I never had to wait. Bed is adequately comfortable, with pillow and towel provided. The cafe downstairs is open 24 hours with great wifi, with an open kitchen for whenever you get the nibbles. They also partner with a farmhouse, which provides some fresh ingredients, including herb teas. As I work on US time, I utilized the cafe through the night for work and meetings - very handy. Laundry is also on site - just ask the front desk for change, and detergent is provided.

Wifi in the room was nonexistent. Having to stick your room key for lights was a bit annoying. I don't think my outlet in the bunk bed cubby worked. I had to charge my phone separately from the socket near the couch, which was inconvenient. Laundry is expensive - it cost me 800 yen (roughly $7 USD) to do 1 load of washing and drying. The first night in the cafe was loud, and I had to camp out in the private party room that the cafe had because I had meetings going. This also costs 1000 yen to rent, which I understand, but at the same time, I wish the cafe had told them to quiet down during quiet hours.

I really liked the location. Aside from being near Yanaka Ginza, it is also located in a place with lots of stores that sell great food. Very near subway and has direct access to the Skyliner line. There is also a nearby Matsuya and Lawson in case you run out of options. I think it's a very good option for big groups since the Japanese hotel industry charges per person per night. It's very cheap.

WIFI sometimes drops. WIFI from the cafe is good though. Oh, and our room does not have a mirror in the bathroom. But you can use the ones in the shared bathroom.

The facility and staff was great. They provided printed information concerning interisting places to visit around the area and the location of the two closes transit points, one of them to the Narita International Airport.

They indicated that breakfast was provided, I would argue that bread, broth and tea or coffee does not truly constitute breakfast. I know that this is also done at other facilities in Europe but it is a misnomer and not so common in South east Asia. But it does provide a compliment of thing for breakfast a a reasonable price.

The property was clean and very near Nippori Station and Sendagi Station (a quiet neighborhood). Checking in was also a breeze and the staff were very easy to talk to. There was also a 24hr coin laundry beside the cafe which was really helpful as I had to wash clothes I intended to use again during our stay. The price we paid for also included light breakfast which we really appreciate since we didn’t want to get breakfast outside as we start the day.

The heater in the room did not seem to work well. I did not mind but my friend caught colds during our stay and she had a hard time staying warm at night. The shared bath also tend to get really messy at certain times but it’s mostly because of the guests.

We did like the location a lot. In the heart of Tokyo's hidden treasure - one of the last tracitional areas - Yanaka Ginza. It is also a walking distance from Nippori trainsation, and Ueno station isn't far either. Stuff was nice and helpful, place was basic but clean. Amd great value for the price

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They also let guests leave their luggage past check out so if you want to explore the city and not carry around heavy luggage or if you have some time before your flight, you can just leave your stuff and return later. They also have a cafe/restaurant so if you don't know where to eat lunch or just want to rest for dinner, you can eat there. The facilites are well maintained. The rooms are so cozy and there are tons of mom and pop shops nearby! It's also very close to Nippori and Sendagi station. If your'e coming from Narita and rode the Skyliner, it's a good hotel to stay in.
