If you are looking for a fabulous and well priced family friendly hotel in Tokyo with easy access to trains, great coffee, convenience stores and endless food options, the FAV Tokyo Nishi-Nippori is for you. I cannot rate this hotel any higher, the rooms are clean and well appointed, the breakfast option is lovely and the coffee is fantastic (and that's coming from coffee snob Melbournians) - Absolutely loved picking up our granola bowls, latte and iced latte every morning from the friendly staff! They are in a central position close to several different train lines and subways, they have free laundry facilities to use any time you like with detergent included and machine lockable with a code, plenty of amenities, fresh towels whenever your need and are happy to take your garbage bags daily (seems to accumulate quickly with a family of 4). Our room was a superior studio room with a double bed above and 2 singles below for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 young kids), admittedly a little squishy (what isn't in Tokyo?), but made our experience of Tokyo all the more unique and the kids loved it. Check in process is easy with a simple passport scan process, you get a receipt with your QR code/PIN code for access to your room and at the end of your stay you simply put the receipt in the check out box at reception. Stacks of power points/USB charging etc for all of the device charging you need (note for Aussies - bring your own universal adaptors if not using USB charging as the connection and voltage differ from Australia). Put simply, you cannot beat FAV Tokyo in Nishi-Nippori for the service, location and price. We will absolutely be returning to Tokyo and will stay at FAV again.

Not a dislike, but a recommendation to staff to add a couple more hooks above the couch area for backpacks/small bags so you have more room on the floor for suitcases.

A simple, no frills hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and efficiently designed rooms that was exactly what I wanted for my family - a room with 2 double beds. Fitted with a kitchenette with a stove and microwave and a little fridge complete with a freezer. The location is so convenient to get to and from NRT airport. Also really convenient to get to places like Harajuku and Shibuya. 2 7-11 nearby and many food options within walking distance. As a family travelling with 2 young children, I appreciated the convenience of the location and having 2 double beds in the same room.

I honestly have no complaints about my stay here.

I loved this hotel! It was great comfy and the staff are so friendly, it’s close by the train stations, the rooms are lovely and clean and the neighbourhood is quiet which is fab! The kitchenette is brilliant we made our own breakfast and grabbed a hashbrown at 7/11. If you want out for breakfast look for the red logo cafe we had pancakes 3 days a week it was stunning xx

That I couldn’t stay there for longer! Nothing wrong with the property at all. Yes okay the rooms are slightly smaller than the picture makes out but we shared as a couple so it was great. I wish the tv could cast our phones though! We never opted for breakfast but my boyfriend’s family did! I regret not getting it

We love the concept of the hotel. Its a small hotel with a coffee kiosk and we love this alot! Hotel is clean, room size is great considering average japan hotel room size, i love that theres separate bed on 2nd deck and a nice “living room”. I have no problem packing my luggage. Hotel room is clean, comes with a balcony. You can hear train passing by during the day and it did not affect us. My kids love the cosy room and love that they have their personal space on 2nd deck. Hotel is near to train station and has lots of marts and eatery nearby. It was a great stay!

As a family of four this hotel was everything we hoped for during our 5 nights in Tokyo. The staff and service were exceptional, particularly the young lady who helped me plan and book our trip to Kawaguchiko. The daily breakfast was super tasty! The location suited us so well. Nishi Nippori station is literally 100m away and super convenient to get to all other stations and subway lines. There are plenty of amazing restaurants, 7/11 in the vicinity and the laundromat is just 50m down the street. The accomodation itself was super comfortable, new towels each day. Overall I cannot recommend it enough. Simply awesome!

Check in was easy, there’s a machine you just scan the QR given to you & scan your passports. Really friendly staffs!! Love our interactions & all very helpful with any questions we had. Room: We’re a small family of 3 (with a toddler) and decided we needed a bigger room + small kitchenette and this was the perfect solution for us! You’ve space for 1 large, 1 medium & 1 cabin size luggage comfortably. And a foldable stroller. Everybody gets their own bed (although the mattress is a bit hard for me but my husband loves stiff mattresses) The room is fully equipped, we could cook some easy breakfast in the room & microwave food. Amenities provided like cutleries, plates, knives, scissors, microwave and more! They even have a small portable vacuum which was awesome! Also love that the toilet is separated from the shower!! Connectivity: It’s a newly built & a modern hotel, right by several key train station lines to tourist attractions! It’s a few minutes walk to JR Nishinippori line which takes you directly to Shibuya, Ginza (through Yurakucho) Shinjuku & Harajuku. It’s also a few mins walk to Chiyoda Line which can easily take you directly to Tsukiji Station (the famous Tsukiji market) All you need is the Google Maps app and you’re ready to use the trains like a pro. Right by our hotel there’s a lift (for family using stroller or wheelchair) so it’s pretty accessible for everyone. Convenience: Right in-front of hotel there’s a Daily Yamazaki that is opened from 6:30am till 9:00pm so you can buy drinks/sandwiches. They can also do the Yamato Transport for your luggages if you need to send your luggage across Japan! (Send before 9:30am day before your arrival at new city so it arrives just as you are) Food is easily available around hotel: Ramen shops, Yoshinoya, McDonalds so you’ll never be hungry.

This hotel has great location. Easy to get to coming from Nippori Skyliner station which serves as airport transfer from Narita. Upon reaching Nippori station, just transfer to the Nippori Toneri Liner and drop off the Nishi-Nippori station. The hotel is just right beside the east exit. No need to haul you luggage. Hotel is also in front of Daily Yamazaki and there are tons of kombini and supermarket around. There are also lots of food choices -- the area is surrounded by restaurants. Room size is quite big for Tokyo standards and it looks very modern. One of best amenities that this hotel has is the humidifier. When it's very cold, air tends to be very dry and this humidifier helped a lot. The hotel is also very near the JR Nishi-Nippori station and the Chiyoda subway Nishi-Nippori station. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Tokyo.

The room was exactly as pictured & very comfortable. Plenty of room for our luggage, but the only hanging space is very small. We’re a t-shirt and jeans kind of family though so not an issue for us. Basic kitchen facilities so you can cook if you want to. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and you should get the gyozas from across the road! Super easy to travel to Narita airport via the skyliner from here, as it’s only one stop to Nippori where there train departs from. Very close to the train station to access the Yamanote line. Train noise didn’t bother us. Excellent value for money. The staff are absolutely lovely 😊

Check in was a bit slow

The bunk beds were great. Loved the lights. Close to 2 train stations, including Nishinippori on Yamanote line. Staff were helpful and nice. Great breakfast, though repetitive. Only 2 choices. Clothes detergent provided in the washing machine (auto-dispensed).

A bit too close to train lines. Space in room slightly too small, but manageable. Only 2 washing machine/dryer on 2nd floor. And dryer takes a long time to dry clothes. 2hrs not enough. We had to have an additional 30mins drying time.

Strategic location, near the JR station (Nishi-Nippori). You can use lift to access the station, so there will be no problem if you bring large luggage. There are several konbinis dan small restaurants in the area such as 7/11 and Yoshinoya. The room is quite comfortable for us (5 person - 2 adults and 3 children), very clean, and staffs are helpful. In the lobby, there is small cafe, so you can drink a cup of coffee. The hotel is close to a railway, but it doesn't bother us because the hotel has triple layer of windows.
