Superb hotel. Loved the style and mid-century modern decor, very big rooms especially for Tokyo, sumptuous bathrooms and caring staff. Small details like doors that close silently and indoor viewing gardens add extra luxury. This hotel is very well located with easy access to 2 important subway lines and fast connections. Major landmarks like Meiji shrine and areas like Harajuku and Shibuya are walkable from the hotel The neighborhood is both chic and calm with proximity to restaurants, shops, all night supermarkets and great coffee shops.

Nothing. It’s expensive but well worth it. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was amazing, there were western and japanese options which I really like. There was a lot included and also the option to book more for an additional fee, which is totally fine, as the buffet options were broad and really nicely displayed.

The mattres of the bed was really hard and less comfortable, which is a shame as the hotel exceeded my expectations by far in all other categories.

the hotel is quite nice: well-made design (not outstanding, but definitely pleasant and also functional), great facilities, location, the view from the room on 17th floor was fantastic). great helpful staff, nice restaurants (haven't been there, but the menu looks quite promising). I would rate it as 9,6, unless the size (and the hours of operation) of the smoking area

the smokling area for the whole hotel and on-site venues (restaurants, shops, some offices, i believe) is 3sq.m, with almost no ventilation, and no place to seat. i can understand (and to some extent understand) the country is fighting smoking, but i don't think that the right way to do it is to physically exterminate smokers :) Apart from that, it was closed after 12:30 am. (as it happens typically in the large companies, the protocols and routines are built to make operations smoother, rather than to fit the interests of the clients.)

Wonderful hotel, exceptionally clean and comfortable and staff were extremely polite, respectful and friendly. Very good location, not quite central but much quieter than the busier districts. There is however, a subway just a two minute walk away making everything accessible.

The lack of English speaking staff was frustrating at times. The staff we dealt with had some knowledge of English but it was limited. The television in the room had one English Channel CNN, everything else was Japanese. Not that we spent much time in the room but it would have been nice to catch up on news etc whilst having a drink and a rest.

Great location for our needs. Quiet neighbourhood but a few stops to Shibuya or Shinjuku as and when we needed to go there. Beautiful clean rooms with well stocked and complimentary mini bar. Great view of the city. The restaurant/bar, the Belcomo, has a real NY Brasserie feel to it. Buzzy place popular with locals for brunch and lunch so make sure you book if you want to use it. Complimentary hot drinks and smoothies every morning. Front desk staff were outstanding. Super polite and helpful.

Nothing really - TV options limited but that is common in Japan. Found the sports replays I was looking for on YouTube.

Loved the 1960s theme throughout the hotel. The eye to detail was amazing: the 60’s style furniture, carpet, drapes, art work - impeccable. Our corner suite was very spacious with a great view. The daily complimentary mini bar refill is also a nice touch. Fantastic restaurants in the hotel, with the sushi restaurant a highlight. Hotel location good, close to subway and walking distance to trendy neighborhoods. From here on in, the AOYAMA will be my home away from home when in Tokyo.

Nothing. IF I was pushed to pick something, as I stayed in the summer, it would be that there is no pool. But the deep soaker tub in our large bathroom did make up for no pool.

Absolutely loved the location which was walking distance to Omotesando and close to the subway entrances. Great supermarkets and convenience stores at your doorstep. Super buzzy reception at L2 right next to the very trendy Belcomo restaurant (good food at decent prices) topped off with excellent and responsive service from the front desk. Loved the complimentary mini-bar and some of the unusual complimentary offerings such as the use of a hair iron or sports attire for the gym. Rooftop bar looked gorgeous and cozy, though we didn't spend time there and just popped our heads in for a look. Overall Wes Anderson aesthetics very on-point at the moment!

The mattresses weren't very thick and not very comfortable. A small desk which could be used for working off a laptop would have been useful - currently the living area had a sofa and armchair with no practical work surface - though this would be nitpicking as it's meant to be a vacation!

I loved their breakfast! I’ve never been the one to book a breakfast at my hotel stays. When I had booked this time, I thought it’d be convenient since we tend to wake up quite early. The dining room had sweeping views, friendly staff and delicious food! They had an array of options to choose from. The gym was also very clean and well kept. Location was about a 15-30 minute walk to the places we wanted to visit.

The lobby staff for the most part were pretty friendly. Although, I did feel on some occasions it was a bit stiff or not quite trained.

When in Tokyo, I really like the Omotesando-Aoyama area and the hotel is perfectly situated. First time to stay here and will definitely return. The room was large with great decor and facilities. A BIG thank you to the reception staff in helping us with challenging restaurant bookings. The breakfast spread and main choices were great but for the duration of the week, it would have been nice to have some changes in the buffet. For example the vegetables or salads or fruits. We did skip breakfast on the 6th morning and had brunch outside. Other than that 10/10.
