Location is great - 3-5 mins walk to metros and JR line. Family mart right outside. Cosy bunker rooms. Clean rooms and clean toilet. Worth the money.

Shared kitchenette is a bit dirty. I guess some guests don’t clean after use.

Location! 2-3 minutes walk from Yushima station, 6 minutes walk from Ginza line. 10-15 minute stroll to Ameyokocho shopping, Ueno station and Akihabara. Clean! Private restroom with bathtub and super clean. The rooms are configured in a useful layout providing some space and didn’t feel cramped. We had a family of five and two of the bunks are on top, so please consider this if traveling with elderly or have physical special abilities related to climbing small ladder. The bunks are solid and offer a privacy curtain. The room has all the basic necessities and the kitchen/fridge is located on 4th floor dormitory style like at college. Our tween kids loved this and it was a glimpse into college life.

Clean in all area, easy access to Yushima Station, surrounded by nice small local restaurants from izakaya, home cook, famous fish, coffee shops, family mart, dorayaki with red beans and other redbeans traditional cookies also walking distance Ameyoko market. Staff speaks english really well, very helpfull and kind. You can keep your luggages before check in or after check out. I travel with 3 kids and they really love bunked beds 😍 Kitchen small and basic, only one stove. Every floor get microwave and refrigerator so you don’t need to go to kitchen all the time.

Laundry machine busy most of the time, have to wait but there is no queue number etc, so when the previous laundry done and you were not there, other people will take the chance. But i finally made it in the midnight.

We enjoyed our stay in room 605. Children just loved the bunk beds. The room can accommodate us a family of 3 adults and 4 children ranging from 3-8 years old. Facilities wise, the room is equipped with air con and heater, water heater, towels, toothbrush tooth paste, shampoo and shower gel, beddings and winter blankets. Location: its near to train / metro stations After check out 10am, we are able to leave our luggage in front of reception counter and continued our sight seeing. We came back around 5pm and manage to freshen up using the level 4 common shower, bathroom and have a quick bite at pantry before we leave for the airport. Value for money. Highly recommended.

For washing clothes, we used the washer and dryer, but the dryer isn't strong enough to dry our clothes - need to redo another round. Washer - 200yen (approx 30 min) Dryer - 100 yen (30 min)

the option private bathroom was excellent and location was amazing. we were on the 7th floor and it was really quiet and comfortable. laundry facilities on the 4th floor is coin operated and i recommend multiple smaller loads for longer stay. we could easily walk to multiple train and subway stations. close to Ameyoko, Ueno Park, 15-20min to Akihabara and easy access 24hrs. Food access was easy due to the location, convenient stores across the street. Groceries and Department store food all within quick walking distance of under 10mins. Staff were incredibly great and professional. They helped with providing a spot to hold of our luggages after our 10am checkout time due to large time gap before our flight home at 10pm. Overall the stay was excellent due to factors of accommodation, cleanliness, and accessibilities to all the needs of our stay in Tokyo.

The bunk bed creaks as you move. this is likely due to the bed bracing materials used that is not wood. maybe harder for a larger frame person to crawl up. but it was still comfortable and acceptable.

The location of the hostel is excellent as it only takes 1min to get to Yushima station (Chiyoda Line Metro) and about a 6min walk to the nearest JR station (Okachimachi). It is near Keisei Ueno as well, so it's pretty convenient if you take the skyliner train from Narita. There's also a nearby Family Mart for late night konbini runs. The staff can speak English and are really accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage before our check-in time. We stayed in the triple room, and the first thing I noticed is that it is really spacious for three people with 4 huge luggage. I also like how clean and well-maintained room is. Overall, I highly recommend this place!!!

This hostel was very clean, with staff that were very helpful for these first time travellers to Tokyo. They had good facilities with a washer and dryer available on site for about 1 euro per wash (very handy-soap included!) The bathroom was very small but functional with a deep tub and of course a warm toilet seat! There was also local convenience stores and many restaurants and markets close by. The more popular suburbs were only a short train ride away which was nice to be slightly removed from the hubbub. The bunk beds were super neat with curtains, lights and charging ports for each bed. The teenagers were very appreciative.

The single bed mattress could have been more comfortable (I think it was a fold out couch). It wasn't uncomfortable as such, just one side was slightly higher than the other so it wasn't quite flat. But after trekking around Tokyo I still had NO trouble sleeping!

It is very clean. The staff are friendly. The accessibility of the location to 2 train stations made our itinerary easy and doable. There is a kitchen for us to eat and it is well-maintained. They provided free coffee, tea, drinking water, and a common fridge for storage. It was quiet although a lot of people stayed there. We are so impressed and we feel lucky that the reality far exceeded our expectations. We felt very safe. It is also near a convenience store. The traffic around the area is light. We LOVE IT!! We will highly recommend it to our friends and if we happen to come back to Tokyo, we’ll stay there again.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We arrived around 10am and they allowed us to leave our baggage and they secured it so we can check out the town before checking in at 3PM. Our room was a two bunk bed room with our own bathroom which was perfect for the 4 of us. The place had a nice kitchen and dining area with free coffee and a refrigerator and utensils. It also has a laundry facility with free detergent. Staff was super helpful. This place is a gem and highly recommended.

Our room had a small table with a drawer but most of our stuff was on the floor. A little table would have helped to keep some of our stuff off the floor.

Highly recommended! Why? Excellent location as it is walking distance to Keisei Ueno Airport train Station for Skyliner (easy walk 10mins). JR Okamachi station in 5-8 mins, Chiyoda Line in 1 min (at the back of hotel), Ginza/ Asakusa line in 5 mins w/ elevator access. Akihabara is easy 5-mins walk. Food- so many konbinis nearby with delicious bread and hot drinks (must try!) Hotel- clean, newly built or refurbished, can cook & laundry, and quiet even if there are many guests in the floor. I just noticed that my bedding is stained (w/ blood) Other than that no issue. Please ensure linens are spotless as this is the minimum standard of a decent hostel. 😊👍
