Very comfortable hotel, modern equipment, friendly staff and a very tasty breakfast. Good choice for dinner options on site - in the hotel restaurant in the lobby and the american cuisine on the other floor too. A shopping mall with supermarket and food-court across the street, but not so easy access on foot. Hotel is conveniently located if your destinations are south of Nairobi (i.e. NKIA, Nairobi Park, Langata giraffe centre and elephant nursery) ...

Quite expensive, but worth the price in the end.

The customer service was exceptional, right from the check-in experience to the wait staff at the restaurant. I ordered meals from the room service menus, and the food was delivered within less than 30 mins each time and was absolutely delicious 😋. The bed was comfortable, and the water temperature in the shower was just right. The car service to the airport is an added bonus and is also handled quite professionally as well. I needed some r & r during my stay, and that's exactly what i got at Eka. Will definitely be visiting again!

Not a thing

We enjoyed a total of 3 nights here, one at the start of our safari and two before we went home. The majority of the staff were extremely good and attentive. However, despite it being quiet, it was difficult to get the attention of waiters on a couple of occasions. Once we had got their attention, it wasn't a problem thereafter. It didn't spoil anything though and overall the staff were great. Good selection of food and drink and the hotel atmosphere was nice. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Would definitely use again for a stay in Nairobi.

One or two of the waiting staff could be more alert to serve waiting guests.

The staff was so nice and friendly. The breakfast and all the food was delicious. The best thing about the hotel is the outdoor space and the staff.

Bathroom was very small and the room didn’t have a view but it wasn’t a problem

We stayed twice within our holiday.the first time we had excellent room with a comfortable bed. the second time we had a room on the lower ground floor and the best was not very comfortable. but it was spacious and clean.

Excellent break fast, here booking. Com used dark pattern and deceived me, earlier booking was including breakfast and subsequent cancellation and during change of date of travel booking. Com changed it to without breakfast.

Rooms dimly lit, room rent higher and not a value for money

Eka Hotel was/is the staging site for many safaris taking off from Nairobi. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Although the hotel is situated well to get on the road to embark on safari or to return from one, it is not a very beautiful part of town and the views are not especially aesthetically pleasing - unless your window overlooks the pool and garden.

The staff were wonderful. The room was always cleaned. Your valuables will be safe. I lost my phone at the hotel and the security found it and returned it. Wow. I also received a free ride to the airport. The driver explained everything on the way, why we stopped at the toll gate and got searched, why he parked far from the entrance at the hotel. He helped.me with my bags. Good employees.

The restaurant staff are not attentive

Food was fantastic, Douglas and his team at the tables were great and Mara and her team at the reception desk were excellent too. Thank you for picking us up at the airport. The hotel was very busy it seemed full of guests but all went on very smoothly. Good job guys keep it up. Your location is perfect...very near the airport.
