The bottom line is this is an absolutely excellent location to stay, especially for quasi-independent travellers. There are some excellent restaurants, bars, and shops within easy and safe walking distance, and it is a short Uber to anywhere else you might want to go. The rooms were quiet and the beds comfortable, and the rooftop and pool are nice with great views.

The breakfast should really be improved; for a property that tries to be eco-conscious it is so wasteful to receive everything in plastic as a delivery to the room. Moreover, the food is just not very good because it has been made elsewhere and transported to you. We ended up just not ordering it after the first few days because even when we tried to just get fruit it ended up getting excessively packaged up.

Spacious apartment with excellent decor. Very comfy and homely. The staff are very helpful with excellent customer service. The restaurant, Coffee shop and shop on the property are a big bonus!! I highly recommend it.

Some of the shower knobs are falling apart...they need replacing. Also the water pressure in the showers is low.

Excellent gym with great views of Nairobi skyline and a working steam room and sauna. Great location in a quiet street in Westlands near plenty of restaurants and shopping malls. The spacious apartment had a washing machine/dryer which worked really well as did the microwave and oven. The kitchen was stocked with the necessary, crockery, cutlery, cookware and utensils for a longer stay. Air-conditioned bedroom was a bonus.

The breakfast was okay; I didn't like that it was delivered to the door without the option of going to the cafe to eat. Because I booked on Booking.com, I struggled to get an invoice with proper details on it.

Property is located in a prime location. There are many restaurants around the area and it’s very close to Nairobi and only 30minutes from Airport or 20minutes on a Toll/Bypass road. Rooms are clean and have a minimalist look and cosy with all the appliances you need. There is also a posh restaurant downstairs, serving a lot of cuisines, can be a bit pricy but very good quality food. Security is 24hrs and guests who are entering the hotel are also screened. The views of the city at night from the top floor are amazing.

There is loud music Friday and Saturday night which continues till early hours in the morning as there is a nightclub nearby. All the other days are quiet. Found it too hot to sleep as there was a fan which was not effective.

tv - not a smart tv so no option of YouTube Netflix Prime etc that was in the lounge just basic local tv. As for the bedroom unless you have a hdmi cable ( who takes one of them on vacation) and then a divorce to plug it into, the tv was completely useless. For the price a smart tv seems like a basic in 2022. had a one bed apartment on the 13th floor with very limited view, it seemed the majority of one beds lack views, maybe something to consider. The pool area shuts at 8.30 in a sort that never sleeps seems so early.

The apartment was huge and very clean. We arrived late and the receptionist Jim, kindly upgraded us - we found ourselves on 13th floor with the most incredible views over Nairobi - a lovely start to our holiday! The rooftop infinity pool was fab, even swimming under a grey, cloudy sky. Worth noting, that there is a coffee shop, convenience store and cocktail bar/restaurant, all off the main entrance lobby which was really handy.

As we were leaving on the first day we discovered the room safe wasn't working (the batteries had run out) Having waited 90min for it to be fixed we gave up and my boyfriend went and bought some batteries and replaced them, so we could get on with our day!

Location is perfect, walking distance to Sarit Centre, restaurants and shops. We loved the city view from every window and the balcony! The rooms are very tastefully decorated and comfortable. All amenities are included (i.e. fully equipped kitchen, washing machine). Great roof top terrace too! The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast from a nearby restaurant was delivered to the apartment.

The rooms were a bit warm and not well ventilated, no airco. That could be improved. When you open the windows, obviously it is noisy.

Skynest Residences by CityBlue is great value for the money. Very well planned spacious apartments with full cooking and laundry possibilities. The reception staff is super service minded and makes the little extra. The roof top gym and pool are super nice. The restaurant serves great foid and drinks. This is my third stay and I will keep on coming back and recommend it to friends.

Since I am lazy I would have loved to have breakfast served. Now just coffee and cakes are avaiable.

spacious apartments and had everything you needed ie cutlery, crockery, openers etc. nice rooftop pool and decent gym for an apartment block. staff were friendly and helpful. well located and shopping centre is within easy walking distance. you can walk around this area. we were up graded to a two bed flat so we had a large apartment and haven’t seen the one bed but can imagine what they look like.

when you first check in you’re not given the lift key immediately and you need this to get to your room. so initially you have to go via the lobby to get them to authorise the lift to go to your floor. obviously this is a good security measure they just need to give you a lift key at the point of checking in rather than when appropriate member of staff arrives on following day. no air conditioning. it doesn’t advertise this so it’s not to be expected but it was summer and hot in the rooms. luckily we were up high so could have all our windows and doors open all the time.
