I booked it for the gym and pool and wasn’t disappointed. The wellness Centre looked good and i wish I’d had time to use it. I loved the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. The low level design of the hotel gives you a feeling of light and air as your door is always on the outside and not along a dark or claustrophobic corridor. I loved my view onto the pool and exceptional gardens. My room was big and had a huge bed. I was offered the choice of a carpeted or tiled floor. The breakfast was great as well. Security on the gate was very good. Everyone was so lovely that traveling as a lone woman, I felt very much looked after and secure.

My very strange looking and noisy shower head only ran quite hot water. I like to have a warm shower then run cold to finish off. It was a shame to have no control over the temperature. When I was kindly being given the opportunity to look at another room on check in I noticed it had a very modern looking shower so I’m guessing they just hasn’t got to replacing the one in my room. It was still quite a good shower however so not a big problem. Also the entrance has a waiting area/lounge which would be so much more useful and welcoming if it was brightened up with some local arts and colorful baskets and cushions. Please get rid of those old fashioned chairs!

The staff were fantastic. The place (with the exception of the bathrooms, in particular the showers) has been renovated to a high standard with lovely gardens, a fantastic pool, a lovely outdoor bar, and wonderful garden. But, best of all, the staff were helpful and provided excellent service.

There were two areas where the hotel could improve. The plumbing in the bathrooms, particularly the showers was very poor - the showers themselves need to be replaced as they just do not do a good job and it is almost impossible to get the temperature right. The breakfast had plenty of fruit, juice, etc. but they were not that fresh and the cooked breakfast was a disappointment.

The staff are very friendly and professional. They took care of all of our requests, such as room preference and additional safari tour. The rooms were clean and the garden is beautiful, so relaxing. Would love to stay again!

The hot water was not running from the shower sometimes. However the staff fixed the problem once I told them.

Jane gives excellent massages - highly recommend!!! She undid the "knots" in my back and neck. Plus the gym is fantastic! As well as the location, across the street from Sarit Centre. Living in Bujumbura, Burundi I do not have access to many of the products I need/want (e.g. contact lens solution). Plus one of my suitcases went missing en route, so I was able to stock up on everything from hiking boots to trousers and T-shirts.

The gate to access the Sarit Centre closes at 7 pm.....which means a longer hike around the building.

Jacaranda is my hotel of choice in Nairobi. It’s not the flashiest but it is a bit like a favourite sweater. It’s comfy and familiar. IT’s location next to the Sarit centre means it is easy to go for a walk and browse some shops. Next time I am here I will return.

Location, just behind Sarit Center with beautiful garden. Staffs are friendly. Wi-Fi was fast enough.

Shower room was a bit old fashon, but was okay.

Jacaranda is my favourite hotel in Nairobi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is in a great location. Will be back.

The Jacaranda is old and needs an upgrade. It is still reasonably comfortable.

The hotel is located in the hear of Westlands, close to a large shopping male and many bars and restaurants. Despite being in a very busy area, the rooms are quiet and I had no issues with falling asleep. The facility is easily accessible by car, taxi, ubers, and boda bodas. The staff is really friendly, dedicated, and will lend you a hand for any necessity. Finally, the hotel is guarded 24/7 which gives a sense of security.

The food at the restaurants is decent but maybe a bit pricey considering that you have so many cheaper food options outside the hotel.

The location is quite central if you are interested in shopping centres etc. Very nice and neat garden; big swimming pool "ready to use" when you arrive; extremely nice staff always willing to help,. Excellent breakfast allowing also for individual requests. Very nice and convenient restaurant where breakfast is served.

There was nothing I did not really like. Staff was excellent, room was convenient and spacious with a very nice garden-view.

Great location, very close to shopping malls. The staff were friendly and gave a quick response to my requests. I enjoyed the gym and spa. I will definitely go back again.
