I traveled for work with my infant son. I really appreciated how proactive the staff was in getting our room setup before we arrived. It was so wonderful to check in at night and to see a crib already there for him so that I didn't have to request one. Additionally, they even provided a baby bathtub which no hotel has ever done for me, but it made baths sooooo much easier. My son really enjoyed his stay as everyone was so extremely friendly and patient with him. Most people didn't know my name, but he was greeted by name wherever we went on the property which of course wasn't necessary, but made the trip extra special for him. The staff in the Italian restaurant were alllll extremely top notch as well, providing truly world class service. I also appreciated their covid protocols. It was nice having fresh masks and sanitizer provided, plus seeing staff walking around with it. Especially since I had a young baby, that additional level of precaution gave me peace of mind. I've traveled all over the USA and to multiple countries in Europe and Africa with my son in his short 8 months of life and the majority of time we stay in hotels. Hands down this was the best experience we've ever had and I look forward to our next stay there.

Top hotel with good location within Nairobi. Friendly staff

The website provides no information on the fitness centre, so the assumption is there isn't one. Only when I arrived did I notice there was a fitness centre. Unfortunately I never packed any workout clothing. I'm vegetarian and the hotel caters for this. When having breakfast there's a friendly man bringing savoury snacks to your table. In the week I was there they were all meat based

For us the hotel was North American in feel. A large complex, with lots of facilities - fitness centre, restaurants, conference rooms, coffee shop, large foyer and concierge etc. These sorts of places whilst convenient can feel a bit soulless, but this property is slightly more on the characterful side. The room was spacious, with separate bath and shower, double basins, plenty of hot water and all the expected amenities. Breakfast was good and varied. The bar served delicious cocktails and the wine list was good and reasonably priced.

The location is a bit odd for us as Europeans in that you can’t leave the property on foot. It’s adjacent to a huge and busy highway, and there is no pedestrian walkway. This made us feel a bit trapped. Also the traffic is so terrible that our taxi to dinner would have been a 14 min walk but took over an hour in the traffic. Our double bed had twin duvets instead of one large double duvet which was a bit odd and not very intimate for a couple.

Cosy, convenient and central for a short trip to Nairobi, the pool and spa area is particular nice but quite small and can get busy, non-the less, a serene spot in the hustle and bustle of central Nairobi! Staff is very kind all around and made my stay lovely, easy to catch ubers/bolts from hotel to pretty much anywhere!

The hotel doesn't have much green space which is a shame, prices of everything on the steeper side, I would advise checking out all of Nairobi's amazing foodie scene instead of staying in.

Caroline saw upon coming to breakfast that my eyes were red, l was greiving the lost of my close work colleague whose funeral would start at 10am. She suggested a ginger shot which l took and helped give me a kick. Then it's through her understanding of our sad experience offered us free room extended time as our flight was 10pm, reception initially charged us USD 100. The gesture to understand your customer is something worth a special appreciation, thank you Caroline as we were prepared to pay

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was a lovely touch to have a complimentary mini bar. The bathrooms were a good size. A heated pool made it comfortable for young children to swim at any time of the day and the gym was very well equipped. The staff went above and beyond expectation to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

The location is excellent-right in the heart of Nairobi. It is quite secure, clean and very hospitable. Breakfast was superb! The rooms are spacious with very comfortable and soft beds and pillows. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Requests made to the reception were very promptly responded to by courteous and polite staff. Loved the balcony bar as well! I’ll definitely be back to Villa Rosa

The place is cool and good to spend time with family or Business meeting however they should try to improve on their breakfast menu as a variety of things are missing compared to what other 5 star hotels outside the country offer. Their menu is excellent for those who haven't explored the world enough and discovered what other 5 star hotels offer. However I give them a 4.5 out of 5 and I'm looking forward to go back on my next visit to Kenya.

Room: Nice king bed with TV (channels were not the best), bathroom had both shower and large bathtub. Complimentary water for drinking and brushing teeth. Mini-fridge with drinks and food. Late checkout 1800 free of charge Room service: Food was excellent got the morianga burger, pizza margarita, and beef bone soup. Spa: Couples massage 50 min. Starts with some tea and fruit to relax, then afterwards more tea. The spa also includes showers, sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi.

Breakfast spread was okay. Would have liked to see more meat options. Had a egg station that prepared omelets, fried eggs, and eggs benedict. The hash browns were the best part, but still a bit dry
