Food. They never cook what's described on the menu. They miss putting in promised ingredients... they don't have them.. Weak presentation of food. Half the ingredients including meat are taken out of the fridge and shoved into their club sandwiches, rolls. The F&B manager was never present on site even at early dinner time through all these 7 days. Billing is not clear with no details of taxes. An advertised USD 30.00 breakfast is billed at a higher cost. It appears they manage to beef up by 10% the invoice calculation when they adjust their shillings with usd against credit card blocks. 15% booking.com discount on F&B was welcome in this overpriced culinary mediocrity.

Our stay was exceptional, quality service from most of the staff. The breakfast was so good with options. The rooms were clean and the entire property was clean. You also get access to the arboretum. David and John best staff at the property.I will surely return here.

Nothing not to like here . Just that if you have lounge access be careful with the waitress (dreadlocked, slender and tall lady) who serves the bar and the lounge, she made us feel uncomfortable while in the lounge.

We had a fantastic stay at this five-star hotel. It’s modern, spotlessly clean, and feels fresh. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh options. Our room was very spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable—perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to receive our rooms several hours early as we arrived in the morning. Upon returning from Mombasa, we were greeted with a thoughtful touch—fruits and sweets left in our room. The Arboretum nearby, with free access for hotel guests, was a great spot for a run or a relaxing walk. The staff were always happy to help and even took time to have pleasant chats with us. We also had access to the executive lounge, which was fantastic. It offered snacks and beverages throughout the day, and from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, alcoholic drinks and warm dishes were available—definitely a highlight of our stay.

A few areas for improvement: One thing to note is that Sunday brunch at the pool and restaurant area gets very busy and noisy with local visitors, and the swimming pool can feel overcrowded by the restaurant guests. It’s perhaps not the best time for guests looking to relax. In addition, there was no outdoor shower by the pool, so many people entered the pool without rinsing off first, which was a bit unpleasant. Food and drinks in the executive lounge occasionally ran out, and we had to request refills a couple of times. Despite these minor points, we had a wonderful experience overall and would highly recommend this hotel to others!

An excellent top class hotel! Very service-minded staff, perfect room with comfortable beds. The first night we were disturbed by music from a nearby church but the hotel was quick to let us change rooms. On our last day we had a long wait for our flight to leave. Since the business lounge was included in our room, we used it before going to the airport. Very beautiful and comfortable! The food is good and whenever we thought something was not right, the chef came out and politely accepted our objections. Then we were compensated. Perfect treatment. We have absolutely nothing to complain about.

A Relaxing Escape with a Minor Hiccup: Our recent 4-night stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence Nairobi Arboretum was a lovely experience overall. The hotel's location is fantastic. Nestled right next to the Nairobi Arboretum, it offered a peaceful escape from the city bustle while still being conveniently close to central Nairobi. The lush greenery of the arboretum was a welcome sight, and we enjoyed taking leisurely walks through the park during our stay. Entry to the park is free when you show your room key. The staff at the Radisson Blu impressed us. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Every interaction was courteous and efficient. The rooms themselves were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and clean place to relax after our daily adventures. While the hotel was fantastic overall, we did encounter a noise issue. The soundproofing between rooms could have been better, and on a few occasions, we were woken up by noise from neighboring rooms or hallway activities. This was particularly disruptive one night at 2 am when loud guests were yelling in the hallway right outside our door. The situation became quite alarming when they even attempted to open our door. We think alcohol was involved. Thankfully, the hotel staff responded incredibly well when we informed them of the incident. They were attentive and genuinely apologetic, doing everything they could to ensure a peaceful time for the rest of our stay. The manager even went the extra mile by sending a handwritten note apologizing for the disruption. Despite the occasional noise issue, our stay at the Radisson Blu was quite enjoyable. The excellent location, friendly staff, and clean rooms made for a mostly relaxing and comfortable experience.

-One of the few well built hotels in Nairobi. Once You see how low the building standards are in Kenya You will really appreciate the build quality of the Radisson. - spacious, comfortable rooms. - wide breakfast selection. - close to the only park in the city center. The arboretum is a great place for a walk, filled with intersting trees and really funny monkeys. - staff is dedicated and very engaged, even if sometimes a bit forgetfull.

-The coffe sucks. :-) -Some interior finishings are on the cheap side, although as stated above, still better than most other hotels. - As in most hotels nowadays, the skills of the masseurs leave a lot to be desired.

Very stylish modern hotel. Luxurious room with comfortable beds, good lighting, nice bathroom. Good a/c. Nice location 3 minutes walk from the Arboretum. Outdoor pool was very nice. Staff were friendly.

Food looked OK but very expensive so we didn't try it, except on the first night when we arrived late and ordered room service food. This was a bit shambolic with half the items unavailable, an incorrect bill and the mineral water left with the top on so we couldn't open it. And the food was not very nice. Surprisingly, the kitchen area in the suite had appliances but absolutely no equipment; not a single piece of cutlery nor even a bottle opener.

The breakfast was excellent and came with various options including healthy juices. Local dishes like arrowroot’s, sweet potatoes, mahamuri and many more. The staff members were very helpful and engaging. The hotel itself is modern and the rooms are huge and beautifully laid out. Swimming pool very clean, gym great , spa facilities excellent. There is an arboretum park nearby which is so beautiful to take a walk, run or even a picnic.

All in all all was perfect.

I had a wonderful stay at Radisson Blu Arboretum Nairobi. The hotel offers excellent service, with attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a premium experience in Nairobi!

The hours for accessing health care activities specially spa could be extended to accommodate guests with varying schedules.

When I needed support from the front desk Doreen and Kush were particularly helpful. The room was spacious and clean with green view. I had a problem with my computer and Samuel directed me to the Apple centre to get it fixed swiftly. John and Manuel were particularly courteous and helpful with luggage, transport and advice re staying safe. My laundry came back within the same day despite being a regular service and Judy at the Spa provided an excellent massage.
