the pool is good the gym is ok coastline view is great, not close to, but very informative the room is great the location is perfect for subway users breakfast is ok but you get used to it very fast - not surprising if you are gonna use subway - this is perfect choice. for other cases - you should compare better.

at my b-day there was nothing left in the room just to improve my experience and make this place more unique among others. small notices, FYI: - cleaning service twice took bathrobe without any fresh replacement, amount of small towels was always different from 0 to 2 (in the room for 2 persons). - at the breakfast - cottage cheese has specific salty taste, no condensed milk

-Location is superb if you want to have easy access to the metro, Burj Khalifa, and Dubai mall. You'll get out of the hotel and walk via an overpass to the mall which offers a variety of restaurants -Easy to get a taxi -Hotel staff are all very nice and attentive We opted to stay at the downtown Sofitel and not at the beach area because we weren't going to spend that many days at the beach and it seemed the beach area is really hard to get in and out, won't be able to use the metro system at all.

Not much. Everything was great. Breakfast does get repetitive if you stay longer than 5 days but still not bad.

It was a massive room, with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and everything you needed. It’s clean and spacious. The housekeeping helped with Estes towels etc without any question. Always 4-8 bottles of water given complementary.

There was very little light in the bedroom. And no charging points on one side of the bed. Check in was very late even though we requested early check in twice no one responded to our email. It was about 15/20 minute walk to Dubai mall not 10 minuets.

the hotel is not directly connected to dubai mall as stated in the hotel website. you need to walk to the metro station , then use the bridge to get to the mall, total 15 to 20 min walk.

The hotel is very well located , a 30 second walk to the inside walkthrough to the Dubai mall. It does take a further 10 min walk to Dubai mall which was not ok bad. The overall stay was really good all the staff even the concierge were very helpful and attentive. We had 11 people in total across 2 families that had booked 2 bedroom suites and Prema at the reception was exceptional, thankfully she arranged an earlier check in as soon as the rooms became available and we had one room to freshen up. Loved the fact that the gym was open 24 hours. The breakfast was a good selection of different cuisines.

The kids area could have been slightly bigger and cater more for older kids.

++ It's all about the LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. 7 min walk (through an aircon walkway) to Dubai Mall where you can find anything and everything. Right outside the mall you can enjoy the dancing fountain show (happens every 30 min from 07:30pm-23:00pm) and a magnificent view to the Burj Khalifa. The hotel is quite big, the swimming pool has great view but the sun is only there from morning until lunch time as in the evening the buildings will provide shade. The rooms are super spacious and so is the bathroom. If you can request for a high floor bedroom, you would be able to enjoy the view to the Burj Khalifa. Thank you to Kishor for the great housekeeping service, really exceeded the expectations.

-- There are really no negatives from this hotel. Probably to call out that early check in is DHR 250 (approx AUD 90).

I traveled for business and stayed 3 nights. The hotel is ideally located near the Dubai mall, the Burj Khalifa area, DIFC, and the Dubai metro. I had to do some work at night, and the work desk area in the room was perfect for that, with all the right plugs and comfort. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in hotels. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great experience.
