Staff, location, value

Room was very spacious and well designed but there were constant loud bangs often each day due to a certain internal system in the building. They need to resolve thus issue as we mentioned it to them.

It's hard to find people so nice these days..but this place awesome..staff was great..went out of their way to make sure your stay was great...above and beyond in all aspects..would definitely recommend 👍

There's nothing I was dissatisfied with...it's an older place definitely not the four seasons..but has character..you can't beat the location right on the beach 100ft away from the Puerto Vallarta pier right in the middle of all the action...you can't go wrong with this place and the staff just puts everything over the top!! Don't overlook this hidden gem on your next trip to PV

The staff were amazing and the view was equally amazing! The concierge staff spoke and understood English very well so no issues there and they were very helpful with booking the pirate ship for us. The bed and pillows were very comfortable which is important when you have back issues. Pillows were fluffy...not flat. View from our balcony was amazing...went to sleep and woke up to the sound of waves. Location was perfect in the Romantica Zone with cafes, restaurants, pubs, jewellery stores and grocery stores all nearby. Bus terminal was only a few blocks away as well. Malecon was only few blocks away. Location was everything with the beach out your front door...close to the pier. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel rooms are dated, definitely need an upgrade. There wasn't an abundance of cooking utensils. Needed more towels...no hand towels given unless asked for otherwise you just get 2 bath towels and a bath mat. No towel to dry dishes so just let them air dry and put away. No microwave or toaster with kitchenette. If you want these items best to stay in an airbnb where some give you salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. But an airbnb on the beach would cost a lot more a night so just depends on your budget and what you can do without or work around. Overall we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay and would book here again !

The location was great, it's in the middle of the touristic area, the beach is in the clean area of the bay and it's a great zone to swim. The view it's awesome, and being right in front of the beach is a great deal.

The restaurant is not part of the hotel so it has a limited scheduled to the hotel guests' use, and the same applies to the beach benches. The jacuzzi in the roof did not work.

location, service wonderful camanista, GABBY! and all front desk personnel. all wait staff at Si Senor attentive and simpatico loved having elevator! lots of drawers, and good closet space quick response to toilet problem. ability to lv luggage at desk before ck in and after ck out blanket provisioned wifiin room and lobby

no private balcony bathroom sink area too small for cosmetics.(407), no bottled water provisioned in room No Wi-Fi at the beach

Location is excellent and exactly where I want to be.

I’m not a fan of the wristbands that you have to wear all week but that seems to be the new thing for all the hotels. I went and met my friends at Almar and they made us walk around the building instead of using the elevator. Sounds like a lot of people packed more people into rooms than there should be so k get the precaution but still really annoying…

The staff was great. They placed us on the 4th floor and the view of the ocean was fantastic. This is a real Mexican hotel filled with Mexicans Americans and Canadians. Is Señor Restaurant is directly downstairs and the food there was simply the best in Puerto Vallarta.

The stove could only be used in the morning when the breeze was not coming into the kitchen as it was outside the room.

Location & Beach!! THis hotel is a older boutique style but that is what I wanted. The staff was wonderful and Victor was so kind! They give you beach towels to use and they have lounger chairs/umbreallas. I loved the location and how close it was to everything - walking distance if staying /partying in downtown Malecon - Zona Romantica. I will definitely be back , i loved everything about this hotel.

The restroom was very clean, older outdated but shower window would not close so insects would sometimes come in from bathroom not much mayb 2-3 of them.

As usual, everything at the Emperador met my expectations. The enormous balcony, spacious room and large fridge are a major plus. The view of the beach is classic.

No pool, but for the price and location it does not matter much to me.

Best location I could have asked for. Walking distance to everything you need and excursions.

Some broken fan in my room was not fixed even I asked. I would have liked water in the rooftop small pool Water to clean feet when coming in from beach
