lobby is too dated needs to be upgraded. too much noise and wildness at family pool. No music played at adult pool Hotel needs to do better marketing. I would see the great effort put into setting dining tables by the adult pool and I never saw more than two couples eating there. A really big negative is policy of not letting anyone up to the rooms if they aren’t a registered guest. It actually is embarrassing to have to tell them that. We had many of our friends staying at other places ask to see the room and view and we had to tell them they couldn’t. Losing out on potential guests with that policy. Many visitors plan their trips to meet up with friends from different cities. Friends like to have a place where they can possibly all meet up and head to dinner together.

I saw mixed reviews but I took a chance anyway. It appeared that they put 2 hotels together as the lay out was strange. ie: up 2 floors down 1/2 a flight and down a hallway. But I booked a suite with ocean view. I was on 2nd floor. The view was amazing. Pier right outside our large patio. Room looked like they had just finished remodeling as there was no pictures or decorations on the walls. But the location and view made up for it. Book these rooms if you can. Other part of the hotel looked like it needed work. Also there is 2 pools. large one for everyone. The other faces the malecon and is adults only. Eat at the resort only restaurant for the largest coconut shrimp I have ever seen. Luis and Elli will take good care of you. would stay here again.

A member of the staff was very mean and disrespectful to my friend and I. She was very demeaning and was making unnecessary remarks. The lady did not help us out, but instead mocked us and was being rude. The door to my room also did not work properly and it took a long time to get it repaired.

Mauro greeted us, learned our names and used our names throughout our stay. All of the staff was courteous throughout the trip.

We were only allowed one key to our room. Due to a medical condition, I would have to return to the room midday, leaving my husband without a key. He asked at the desk and was denied a second key. Of course, Mauro was there to let my husband in our room. My brother was there alone and he received two keys. This was really the only con we had while staying there.

This hotel has 2 sections. We stayed in the private section which had its own amenities, restaurant, bar, pool and beach area. The other section had the families in their pool. Our staff were Excellent!!!

It was confusing first because I didn't understand why we were in a different area. The second day we saw the kids and everyone having fun in the other side. Then we understood. We had a pool to ourselves or 1 or 2 other couples with our own private wait staff. Very convenient.

location of this property is wonderful! the beauty of the pier and lovely walks down to the Malecón! we did the Deluxe Ocean View room and it was wonderful!! Clean, AC, balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean & pier! sunset was amazing!! pool area in center of hotel looked fun with fun music playing. pool and pool area was very clean. There was some remodeling going on but nothing crazy and property still kept very clean. I also like that every guest gets a bracelet that is used to ensure only checked in guests are on the property. At night they have staff standing by at the elevators in the lobby to verify bracelets. Check in and check out we’re fast and without issue.

Location was the best, quiet and centrally located in zona romantica on the beach. I enjoyed the view from the balcony of the bay. I liked that mostly it was families that were there with kids and not too loud.

The room could use an update in decor and color. The shower head was rusty. The elevator is small and hard to get on with the number of floors and the number of guests trying to go up or down especially at check out time. There is only one check in counter???

After some research, we knew to stay on the top floor if possible - we paid more for ocean view and they were newer rooms - it was beautiful, clean, comfortable beds and pillows - we had a group of six, guys and girls and we all loved it!

The location of the property was directly in front of the pier and a short walk to great restaurants and bars.

my room AC was either on or off. I was not able to control the temperature.

I arrived to a space that looked like it had never seen a visitor in years. no water bottles and the vents looked black with mildew. I returned to the lobby reception and demanded a new room.
