Loved the clean rooms and the lovely beds excellent views lovely breakfast fresh and tasty. The place was clean and the service was EXCELLENT the staff was very welcoming and very helpful. Best service hotel in Durban

The continental breakfast we took home at 4am was a bit stale. It just tasted a bit old like 3days old. But that was the only negative.

The staff in this place are highly professionals. The staff at the reception are unreal. The day you book in they go through everything you need to know about the hotel. If i may mention the staffmember's name at the reception Brandon this guy is unreal. He only saw me once when i booked in believe it or not the next day he said hi mr and mrs da silva. Considering that this guy must see hundreds of people everyday this shows you how important people are to this young men. The first day at breakfast i could not believe what i saw everyone from the receptionists to the manager helping one another clearing the tables to make sure there was enough food available etc. Fantastic team work. Please pass on these comments to the hotel management.

The staff all round had been phenomenal 👏 Profesional, always willing to assist and have been very friendly.Breakfast were well prepared. Housekeeping staff were amazing.

The lifts take too long to arrive. Programming of lifts should be reviewed. The swimming pool hours does not accommodate guest who go out during the day and want to cool down in the evening. The 17:00 cut off needs to be reviewed especially since the pool is so small and is always full during the day. Perhaps considering a warn pool as competitive accommodation around Umhlanga has heated pools. Lastly pillows were too soft. Harder pillows would have made it much more comfortable.

The staff was very friendly especially the ladies at reception. Breakfast was lovely and very fresh. Location very convenient and close to everywhere you can possibly want to go to. Pool always clean. Though the hotel was busy they managed the breakfast sitting very well. Hotel very clean. Clean swimming towels was also a nice touch.

The lifts took forever to get to the 4th floor. Housekeeping comes in very late, there was a day where it was done at 3pm.Would be nice to have a chef at breakfast to prepare omelets. You pay an additional fee for parking. Pool closing at 5pm that is far too early, please consider at least 6/7pm especially because kids are supervised at all times.

Hloni , Thabsile, Sifiso and Nomfundo made sure to welcome my brother and I to the hotel with open arms. Extremely amazing people ,kind hearted . They made sure that my brother and I were embraced with kindness and a smile. They really went above and beyond to ensure our stay at the hotel would be incredible, in which it was . My brother enjoyed his birthday at the Hotel. Thank you to the staff for being so welcoming. Absolutely amazing people.

The room exceeded my expectations for a 3 star hotel, I loved all the Dove products. They felt so luxurious when I used them. It was a bit noisy as we were placed right across from the service lift. Breakfast was also very tasty except for the scrambled eggs - they did not taste nice at all.

We just didnt like the scrambled eggs at breakfast. Upon arriving @ 13h00, we felt that the staff were a little hostile towards us when asking if the room was ready. We knew book in was at 14;00 but just wanted to enquire. They did not suggest for us to wait anywhere or anything, only after I had to ask if there is not a restaurant or bar area to wait in did the staff member then say Oh there is butcher block you can go to. But other than that, it was very nice.

The room, the bed (and sleeper couch as well), full English breakfast that was included. Being closer the shops, beach etc. The friendliness of the stuff. The pool for the kids. Our expectations were met as it was not our first time there as family.

It is not a big deal but if the breakfast can have an option for omelette or option to have eggs done in another way. There was poached, boiled and scrambled eggs option though, hence I am saying that it is a not a show-stopper but more of a suggestion.

The staff is always friendly and ready to make your stay blissful. Lunga at the reception area is an exceptional customer service companion, he goes an extra without thinking twice, this gent’s service is true value for money. Another great experience was the breakfast staff & an Indian kitchen manager/supervisor, just forgot her name but wow the attention she gives to her patrons is excellent, we felt like VIPs when I requested for something she ensured it was attended to immediately and even came to check up on us while eating to ensure nothing additional was needed 🥂 to many more stays as long as Lunga and our kitchen host are still there 😂.

I LIKED THAT THE ROOMS AND BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN AND A HAIRDRYER WITH MIRROR WERE AVAILABLE. I DIDNT BOOK A SEA FACING ROOM BUT I WILL THE NEXT TIME. IT WAS QUIET AND PEACEFUL ON THE 5TH FLOOR WHICH I REQUIRED FOR RELAXATION.

I DIDNT LIKE THAT THERE WAS NOT A VARIETY OF FOODS FOR BREAKFAST - FOR PEOPLE - LIKE ME - WHO DONT EAT BEEF AND PORK. YES PLENTY OF MUFFINS ETC, BUT OTHERWISE FOR US, IT WAS EGGS, CHICKEN SAUSAGES (WHICH WERE OVER COOKED ) AND LAMB SAUSAGES WHICH WERE TASTY, AND SOME FRIED TOMATOES AND SOME MUSHROOM IN A SAUCE (WHICH I DONT EAT. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A BIGGER VARIETY IN THIS AREA THE NEXT TIME I AM BOOKED IN.

The room was very clean and had all the essentials one would expect in a hotel room. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful with a variety of options to choose from. Loved that the meats were halaal.

The one thing I would advise is that the bacon be put separately from the rest of the meats or food as many hotel guests used the utensils allocated for othe dishes in the bacon dish and used the bacon utensils to dish from the other meats. So for those who are Muslim or only eat halaal this made it difficult to eat given the bacon utensils was used to dish out from the halaal meats.
