Exceptional breakfast

The receptionist took my number from my bookings form and he made my entire stay uncomfortable. I checked out on Monday 13/12/2021 and the harassing is still ongoing telephonically. I therefore called the hotel on 17/12/2021 requesting to speak to the manager and my request fell upon deaf ears.

I booked and paid for the room facing sea view but I was not allocated to it.

The room was clean and spacious. Partial view of the ocean. We really enjoyed the shower. Staff were polite and courteous. The room service was excellent.

We had to pay R60 for parking at the hotel for 1 day. This is ridiculous as this should be provided for patrons free of charge or added to the cost when booking the hotel. I've never had to pay for parking at any other hotel before. The breakfast was the worse we have ever eaten at such a facility. The grilled mushrooms tasted as if they were about to go off. The lamb sausage and lamb mince tasted and looked has if soya meat had been incorporated into it. The egg and mushroom quiche thingy tasted like plastic with no flavoring at all. The chef frying the eggs was using spray and cook plus oil so the eggs had that similar plastic taste. I would not recommend this breakfast to anyone.

the property was ideally located in the heart of Umhlanga. staff were professional and very helpful and hospitable. amazing breakfast.

I booked two rooms, one suite and one standard room. Room 2 got complimentary water whilst our suite did not. the Suite- had bedbugs for sure. by day 6 i was covered in bites. there was also a sewerage smell in our room on the last two days.

Place was spacious food excellent staff were very friendly.

We were in room 611 The noise at night was very disturbing hardly got any sleep due to the noise from the street every time a car went pass u can hear it and the curtains won't close so the brightness was disturbing.

Clean room and amenities. Delicious breakfast.

On two separate occasions, room service forgot my order. I had to call in to enquire after an hour. Very limited satellite channels. The movie channels were not working during my entire stay.

Centrally located. Welcoming and with a great choice of food. It is comfortable, modern and clean. Staff were efficient and friendly especially the bar staff. The Saturday night seafood buffet is worth every penny and is excellent. Nice touch was the chef coming around and introducing himself and ensuring food was good and any issues ask for him directly to address.

Long wait for lifts. Needs some maintenance in certain areas.

awesome Place

I had a booking for two days. but after day one they came to knock at my door to remind of the check out time. I had to dig on my emails to show them that I was booked till the following day.

Plenty of space in bed and bathroom, comfortable beds, excellent powerful shower, great choice at breakfast. We were able to check in after 22::00 which was essential for us.

Sink tap did not deliver hot water, short flush did not work on loo. Hotel undertakes security checks on empty rooms between 2&3am, unfortunately as we checked in late, our room was included. It was not great to be woken from sleep by someone entering the room. We think the hotel needs a process that caters for guests who have advised they will check-in late.
