The service was amazing...

We ddnt get breakfast.. it was said that the package from Bookings.com didn't cover... Which ddnt make sense cause who would book BnB with no breakfast

The room was large and more than expected. The staff and management at Sandringham was very professional and friendly. Sandra even offered to take me the beach every day because of the incorrect information on booking.com. She undertook to take this up with Booking.com. Seaview would be more accurate, on the beach and beachfront are very misleading.

I was extremely disappointed that my filter was set up for on the beach, this property is marketed as beachfront. It is indeed not within walking distance to the beach. I looked forward to walks on the beach and the sound of waves breaking at night. Driving to the beach and hoping to get a parking was not in my scope for our holiday.

I especially liked how the entire staff, from Sandra the Manager on down, related to us at a personal level. They enquired about our every need and made sure we felt comfortably at home at their property. Special shoutout to Tracy, Kuku and Richard. All of them were unobtrusively efficient in making us happy and satisfied. Will highly recommend the Sandringham to any visitor to Umhlanga who’s looking for a quality place to stay without breaking the bank. Thanks very much for making us feel welcome and at home.

The property is easy to find. Well Marked from the outside, it is hard to miss. I was slightly early and the host lady allowed me early check in. I appreciated this much as I had to rush to the airport. I was able to shower before I left. Thank you for this small detail.

All in all - The establishment was okay, functional and clean. I would have preferred an extra towel or 2 in the room especially since we were 2 in the room. Also, the coffee for breakfast could be better. It was not a trainsmash though. The cleanliness and friendly staff compensated for these minor shortcomings.

The location is very good for business in Umhlanga and immediate surrounds. Room was comfortable and the bathroom adequate. The neighbourhood is very quiet.

There is no defined "reception" area and the "office" door was closed when I arrived. Had to wander around to look for staff. Check-in staff member seemed like she had a very long day. The bedside lamp did not work, the shower door knob came undone, nothing serious, just little niggles.

As someone who travels a lot for work, I always look forward to booking here. The staff are incredibly pleasant, and daily housekeeping makes getting home after a long day more pleasant. Sandra, the host, is just phenomenal. She always ensures that I have the same room, as to ensure a sense of familiarity, which is highly appreciated. Breakfast is always top quality, and on days when I have to leave before breakfast, if I let Sandra know the day before, she'll have something prepped for me.

The breakfast was good - choice of yoghurts, cereals etc. Hot options available for the breakfast. The location was good and staff very friendly. The WIFI was good. It was a comfortable stay.

There could have been another health option for bread such as rye or health bread. The main street is quite difficult to get out of as it is quite busy.

Big, comfortable beds; cleanliness of the place. Friendliness of the staff.  We didn't make breakfast as the kitchen closed at 09:00 and we slept in a bit due to a tiring night before.

Breakfast closed too early. The road turning out onto the main road is a bit of a challenge especially during peak hours. I expected the price to include breakfast

Great staff, very accessible property (central location), but a bit tricky if you have a large car for parking.

The desks n the rooms were not great for working at with a laptop, a suggestion would be to offer a better workspace in the rooms, for those who don't want to use the communal area.
