Exceptional beautiful b&b in the center of the city. Perfect combination of modern concrete ceilings, modern and elegant bathrooms, exclusive oak floors, the city’s rocks as the fourth wall in the suits and also in the antique, as well as modern stairways. 4 windows in 2 directions with nice view. Located directly next to one of the city’s elevators in the city center, in walking distance to all points of interest and all restaurants and cafes. Nearby parking worked out fine also. Needless to say that the owner is a wonderful lady, who helped organize a delicious and beautiful birthday cake for the also fabulous breakfast and gave us fabulous recommendations for exceptional dinner nearby. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you very much for accommodating us.

The property is an historic building with feature stone walls from the base of the haut-ville. Each of the 4 apartments is spacious and offers modern and welcoming facilities including walk in wet room style showers as well as fridge and coffee/ tea making facilities.

Although named a hotel, the facility is manned outside daytime ours and is operated via key codes and pass cards which may not suit everyone. Breakfast is available and the dining room is well presented however despite booking breakfast for my stay, there was no kitchen staff available. However there is a convenient patisserie located 20 metres away that can accommodate breakfast needs.

Host was super friendly and helpful, she even brought our suitcase all the way to the third floor! We were able to keep our stroller in the storage room. Location is excellent, bus stop a few meters away as well as elevator to go to the city centre. The neighbourhood is charming! We did not have breakfast at the hotel as we wanted to be flexible with our toddler but there's a cafe right in front and several other places nearby. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

The help and support with our queries before we arrived was fantastic. You'd struggle to be any closer to the centre of the very pretty Luxembourg by staying at this hotel. Our room/suite was perfect - large, clean, comfortable and to a high standard. The shower was amazing. The breakfast was lovely and relaxed. Our party was one adult and two kids. We loved our brief stay and we will visit again.

Despite the noise proof windows, the pub goers in the centre were quite loud. The windows did an excellent job of minimising it, and that is just part and parcel of being in the centre on a Saturday night. I can't imagine what more the owners could have done.

lovely small hotel (only four rooms, one on each floor) wonderful hospitality, great location. The breakfast outside on the front patio was delightful. The owner was super nice and accommodating. She was super nice to my friend who wasn’t even staying at the hotel with us. Her hospitality made a huge impact in our experience in Luxembourg.

The fan was noisy. The noise travelled through all the walls and would surround the room. Took a while to figure out what this noise was as it would start automatically with turning the light switch. Thankfully there was a way to turn it off. We were given only one room key card and left it in the room. There is no staff attendant in the facility so we had to call. This caused a bit of panic. I suggest they provide two key card for two people room.

The entire experience from beginning to end was wonderful. The building itself is a beautifully restored house backing right up to the limestone cliff so the walls in the room (in portions) are limestone and you feel a unique connection to nature. The owner was charming and super helpful; the breakfast was terrific with great options and eggs made to order. The room was extremely spacious, modern and updated beyond compare, and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated every little detail and the charming Grund neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful drinking and dining options right around, and the elevator up into the main part of Luxembourg is a 30 second walk away.

I will mention there is no elevator so be prepared to carry your suitcases up the stairway. The owner provides baskets also in case you only want to carry a few things and leave your bag on the ground floor. If you want to walk into town, it's a steep uphill (but quick) walk. For us, it was a perfect stay and we can't wait to return!

This is a wonderful little b&b, in the heart of the lower town. We had the “attic” double room on the fourth floor, which was spacious, modern, and lovely. Some low ceilings but that didn’t bother us. Good lighting and plenty of power outlets. Francesca, the owner, was beyond helpful to us. Wi-Fi was good. Also, it’s right next to one of the upper town elevators which is very nice.

This isn’t necessarily bad, but the stairs to the 4th floor are brutal. They are steep, narrow and in a circular staircase. Francesca, bless her heart, helped a lot with the luggage. Something else to be aware of. There is no shower, there is a handheld sprayer in the tub, and the tub is outside the bathroom, so there is no privacy. If you care.

The welcome from Francoise at La Pipistrelle was one of the best we ever experienced. It was friendly and incredibly helpful. No request was too much. Breakfast was beautifully laid out, fresh and varied. Our room was pleasant and comfortable. The style is cleverly thought out, eligant, and with character. The setting was stunning.

We found not one thing to dislike.

Location was fantastic and quiet. The room was unbelievably beautiful (built into a cliff). Did not have breakfast at the hotel but a nice bakery very close. The staircase was epic (we only took our backpacks with overnight clothes as it was only a 1 night stay) Parking was a bit of mission bit managed to find something the later it got during the day.

Super friendly staff! Delicious breakfast and easy access to all important places in the city. Just a few steps away from the elevator they connects Grund with Ville haute.

Probably the fact that there is no elevator, only stairs a that are windy and narrow but we were up to the “challenge” since the building is part of the UNESCO heritage list.
