Well located hotel with gorgeous views over the city. Like everywhere in Luxembourg, the hotel itself was on the expensive side with cocktails at 25 euros and a cup of tea 9 euro. We were upgraded to a room with a view on arrival which was nicely laid out, with all amenities you would want. V clean. Breakfast offered a good selection of cold choices, a little limited on hot, but all were good quality and tasty.

Location was great, on the edge of the city center, walking distance to the city centre. Room was spacious. View was lovely with a big window for natural light. Shower amenities (soap, shampoo, lotion) provided were good quality. Had a working desk. Staff were amazing! We got a sleepy time tea and slippers set next to the bed each night - nice touch!

The layout of the room is slightly inefficient with the shower cabin kind of in the way. Gym was good but only had 1 of each machine so if someone was using the treadmill, you can’t use it. The wifi in the corner room is not good but the staff helped us change our room immediately.

The breakfast spread was very good and the view at the restaurant was amazing! The serving staff at the restaurant and staff at the hotel were friendly and hospitable. We had such a great quiet room with a view, thank you to the staff (we didn't get his name) for giving us such a nice room. The location was ideal to walk to the city centre and it was a plus point to have a parking garage adjacent to the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Sofitel very much and would definitely stay in this hotel again when we visit Luxembourg next time.

The pillows were a bit too soft.

Very spacious and clean room. Very big TV and there were proper sound systems. The bed was very comfortable as well as the pillows. The room was quiet and the hotel is at a walking distance from the centrum. Awesome view from the top floor bar and restaurant. The breakfast had a vast variety and it was very delicious. Friendly staff. Parking hall downstairs

There were gifts (Hermes soaps, chocolate, macarons, juice) in my colleagues room but I got nothing, even though I had reserved both rooms and he had not ordered them in advance. The toilet was in a separate lil room where there was no sink for hand washing.

Location was superb and the staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are delightful and the comfiest beds we’ve ever slept on. Loved it. Breakfast was superb and highly recommended

The staff in the restaurant were very understaffed and tried their hardest to serve all customers. We were lucky to eat earlier but a few more staff would’ve made all the difference to what was a wonderful meal.

The staff was very helpful and accomodating. The room was luxurious and comfortable, with a great view of Luxembourg City. The shower was very nice. The bed was fantastic, though slightly squeaky.

The television gave us issues- we weren't able to cast our Netflix because there were too many other television codes. This was frustrating, though the staff did give us the option of changing rooms-- however, we declined this option and went to bed as it was already late. But, we would have enjoyed being able to watch a movie in our room, especially as we were only there for one night.

perfect location, you can get to and from the airport in 20 min via free bus and walk into the historical down town in 15min. amazing views and the service is just spectacular (though you are paying for it!) the breakfast is amazing and the bar is great, but expensive for drinks 20€ for a cocktail. rooms are fully stocked to prevent mishaps and ensure corporate success in your meeting- ironing board, cloth for your shoes, etc.

expensive drinks at the bar, closes at 1 and they kick you out. bed looks soft and feels soft but when you lie down you can tell there’s been too many solo people on each side, it was a bit uneven. the coffee machine was hard to manage and there was not enough milk in the supplies.

Spacious modern rooms , great WiFi, friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast selection and a great panoramic restaurant to enjoy the views of the city, whilst eating your breakfast.

Location was a good hike into the town centre, this was our first stay in Luxembourg, and hadn’t realised how hilly the city is.

All amenities were top-notch. Breakfast was all we could have asked for. The staff was super nice and attentive. The view is unbelievable. The attentions to small details including a tea bag with a pc of chocolate was so very cool.

Staff was very friendly. The drinks were great. Pillows were great.

The AC never got cooler. It wasn’t hot but could have been cooler and changing the thermostat did not change the room temperature. Parking was not convenient. I wish the room service and bar menu had better food choices.
