The hotel was modern & had very convenient underground parking below, for an additional cost. Our rooms were spacious & clean & had very comfortable beds. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the city centre & as we were only in Luxembourg City for one night, we wished we'd have stayed a little closer. We walked to catch the tram, but that took us 10-15 minutes too. That said, to our surprise, public transport in the city was free! Apart from the open top tour bus we took, which we would highly recommend. The greeting we received upon arrival was excellent & all members of staff were pleasant, efficient & cheerful. Particular thanks to Emerik who was so helpful & welcoming, as was his male colleague whose name we didn't get.

The layout at breakfast was quite illogical, with different areas for different items. We had to ask where the yogurt & milk were situated & noticed other confused guests asking the same questions. Bizarrely, all the drink-making facilities were in one corner, but you had to go over to where the bread & pastries were to get milk. Similarly, the fruit, cheeses, yogurt & cold meats etc. were in a wide fridge, but at the opposite end of the room. I think someone needs to formulate a plan at the hotel so that everything is laid out in a logical order that makes sense as after all, we all couldn't be wrong if so many of us were asking for the same directions!

We loved our stay. Great location. Very central. We could walk everywhere. The room was spacious for a family of four. It was warm and clean when we got there. Very well equipped and very functional too. The bed was comfortable and so was the sofa bed. The linen was soft and spotless. The towels were fluffy, like new. The bathroom and loo were warm and very clean. The shower was great, easy to adjust the temperature, and good water pressure. There was a kettle and a coffee machine with capsules for our use. There was also an assortment of tea bags, instant coffee, and nuts. The best thing was that as we arrived early our booking was upgraded to an executive room, so had some extra treats such as bath robes and slippers, essential bath oils, and a free mini-bar! Couldn't have gone better. The breakfast was fabulous. Both full English and continental were available. Wide range of cereal, yogurt, fruit, bread, pastries, and cakes. Good choice of homemade jams and preserves. Cold cuts of meat and cheese were also available. And of course tea, coffee, and a wide range of juices - some of them freshly squeezed. Would definitely stay again!

There is a public parking lot right below the hotel and it is very convenient. Friendly staff willing to explain any tourist questions. The hotel is close to the center on a path with pleasant views and very safe. Family atmosphere.

The breakfast is varied and tasty, but there is not enough space to seat guests, so we had to wait in line for half an hour to get in. They suggest going upstairs carrying your plate, which is not only complicated if you have children, but it is time-consuming and unpleasant. The sofa bed where the children slept squeaked with any movement and woke everyone up. The refrigerator light in the room did not turn off, there was a fault in the switch and it illuminated the entire room at night. The elevator takes a while to read the authorization card to be able to operate and delayed all the guests. The hotel restaurant is very expensive for its poor quality, for them a Greek salad is bitter lettuce, raw roloflower and celery.

The hotel was within walking distance from Gare de.Luxembourg so it's quite convenience for us to just walk as we're traveling by train. Even the place is within walking dsiatnce to the tourist attractions so we don't need to have a hassle of getting around and having our sughtseeing. The room is very comfortable and very clean. Love the fullfy pillows and bedsheets so we reallt had a good night sleep throughout. They have a large TV screen with almost a hundred channels that we could browse through. And the Nespresso coffee machine as well as the mini bar being refilled everyday really highlighted the stay as we could have or fresh coffee in the morning and refreshers after our long walking trip through town. The best of all is the staff are very friendly and try their utmost best to provide us with great hospitality through out our stay. I had lost my glasses when I was in the premise and they managed to keep it and returned them back to me with friendly gesture which I could never repay back. There are more good things to say about Novotel but overall, my stay in Luxembourg, at Novotel especially makes me love even more with the city.

Location - It is walking distance from Luxembourg central train station. Most of the attractions in the city are walking distance from the hotel. Staff - Staff was polite and friendly. As we reached one hour earlier than check in time. Check in was allowed 1 hour before normal time. The room was fully ready by that time. Breakfast - Its continental breakfast with all the necessary food items. There was no waiting time and had sufficent seats to accommodate the guests. Room- Rooms were clean, spacious. Toilet was separate from bathroom. Small fridge in the room helps to keep something overnight. Overall good experience nothing to complain.

One may expect some queue for the lift during morning breakfast period.

We liked the fact that hotel staff was very caring and accommodated us as we travelled with a toddler - they managed to put a cot in our room. We liked the room itself - felt quite big for us therefore enough space to "park" the stroller too. You could say the hotel is well located, but also Luxembourg is so small that most of properties feel well located.

We had a dinner option for one evening - both of selected pasta, but didn't like the taste - wouldn't recommend it. However, to us it wasn't the priority therefore it doesn't really take anything away from overall experience.

Good location, it's easy to walk to old centre. Very friendly staff. Clean room. Parking at good price.

Very small bathroom, no coffee maker, just hot water for tea or instant coffee. Breakfast was fine: the quantity was there but variety of foods was rather disappointing. Bed was quite narrow for 2 persons and very soft. Parking is not accessible from hotel lobby, you need to go outside of the hotel but price was very reasonable. Disappointing was that Luxembourg is actually nothing special overall so I'm happy with the hotel which was just ok for a short stay.

Good location, quiet rooms, good breakfast Rooms are very good, bedside usb & mains plugs, even 1 fast wireless charger. Full satellite TV Inc. A handful of English channels. Good quality restaurant. Staff very friendly, and extremely helpful!

Pillows could have been bigger, 2 were very thin, bordering hollow. Room was amazing however, metal decal on cupboard was loose and overtly sharp, leading me to cut myself by merely touching it. Staff were responsive and did offer a change of room. WiFi is awful, connected at 12am to upload photos, but either connected without Internet or connected and dropped within 15 to 30 mins.

Hotel was very well equipped and comfy. well decorated. beds were wide enough. Food was good. I think they have an agreement with Calm, but I had no idea how to use or what was the agreement. But not a big deal for me.

Was a little away from the center. Normally I prefer to stay closer downtown. Could have been a little cheaper if you consider the location. Hotel could give little surprises for the child who stays there. A painting book or little crayons.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel and room were clean and the breakfast very good. The hotel is well positioned and very easy to get to from the airport via the bus. Luxembourg has free public transport which is fabulous and the buses are immediately outside the airport. Bus 29 or 223 were frequent and only took around 15 minutes to get to the hotel. It’s only a short walk of around 10-12 minutes to reach the centre.
