The location (walking distance to Pasar Payang), availability of parking space (paid), the size of the room and bathroom, free bottles of water, fridge with freezer, microwave, sink and dishwashing liquid, places to hang towels and clothes, several power sockets to charge your devices, friendly staff and e-book of interesting places.

We were not informed in advance that housekeeping service was only provided once every 3 days, unless we requested for the service. So when we returned from our day activities the day after the 1st night, we were shocked to see that no one took our rubbish, changed the towels or made our beds. It's only normal that hotels should provide these daily service or at least state the rules clearly before check in and on the room wall so that guests are aware that they should make a special request. There were also dusts on the bed headboard and wall corners that needed some cleaning.

My honest review. 3D2N. Even though the Hotel Entrance looks like budget hotel, but the room itself is very spacious and clean!! They even provide lift for 3 level hotel which is amazing. No need stair with heavy luggage. The room is very very very spacious and comfortable. The toilet is spacious too!! The Air Conditioner also very cold. Have lots of power point. No need extension as they provide enough for everything. The kettle and iron are brand new. Mattress are really soft and comfy. The toilet very clean. I'm almost couldn't believe I book such amazing budget friendly hotel. Sink and Cabinets are very clean. They provide extra plastic garbage and tissue.

Almost nothing. I live every bit of it. Such amazing hotel!

The room was spacious. It had a small area which was separated through wooden panels where they placed the beds. There was a table to eat that could fit 3 people. And a study table to place your stuff on.

The room could perhaps use a cupboard area to hang clothes. The only one hanging equipment could only be used to hang wet towels. The bathroom/toilet was spacious, but because the shower area opens up to the sink and the toilet, it flooded easily (the shower panels didn’t cover down to the floor, so water seeped through from the shower to the toilet area) and the floor overall was slippery. It was a bit dangerous for my elderly parents.

Will always be my 1st choice to stay in KT. Very comfortable place, convenient location and clean.

No fridge or minibar for cold drinks.

This was my 5th stay with Uptown Eco. Ever since I found this place, I don't really search for other hotel. I love how it is located so near to Pasar Payang and quite at the center to go everywhere else. The room is spacious enough for us to unpack and re-pack our shopping goods and to me it has a really comfy bed. Air-conditioned well, it has a lot of plugs too, so don't need to fight for plugs to charge your gadgets. And they upgraded their TV, which is nice.

For my recent stay, I would like to suggest them to check the Shampoo and Shower Gel, I think they didn't top-up the container, also maybe to change the towel as the current one did not do a good job at absorbing water and also to put utensils like spoon and fork (recycle ones also can).

Good location. Walking distance to Pasar Kedai Payang & Chinatown. Large room space with mini kitchen cabinet top, jar kettle, iron, sink, hair dryer. Living room has 2 bean bags & TV, separated from bedroom with sliding door. There is a table wt 2 chairs . Another long table in bedroom. Multiple plug points. Walking balcony space which overlooks traffic (but quiet). 2 aircond units, of which one was a 4-sided vent. Toilet spacey. Good bidet & shower pressure. Both rain shower & lift off shower spray. Bed comfortable & clean sheets. Overall clean & practical. Beautiful timber & wood carving details. Hotel has a lift. Lots of parking by roadside. Value for money. Practical, comfortable. Highly recommended hotel.

Very Spacious, with dedicated Living and Dining Table. Ample of space for small family. City View, cant complain much but very good location and direct access to food, shops, pharmacies, etc. Host and Staff are very nice. Parking was not a problem. Will definitely stay again should we land in KT.

The sink was a bit smelly, maybe due to previous food waste in the pipes. One of the bed was a hard type.. but line, blankets and pillows are acceptable.

The location very near to Pasar Payang. Just a walking distance. The ambiance and wooden hand crafted room design is unique and beautiful. Suits to my liking for traditional hand crafted design 😍😍 Very clean and spacious room. Easy to find parking space around the hotel. Though we need to pay for the parking but it is very minimal amount. Overall it is recommended with affordable price.

Our room got balcony with Pasar Payang view however the balcony floor flooded with water. Not sure from where the water come from, perhaps from aircond piping. Because of the wet floor we cant really enjoyed chilling by the balcony.

1. Parking was relatively easy. Although it was located in shop areas, parking was easy to get. 2. The room arrangement was nice. We booked the unit that had 3 rooms with a total of 7 single beds and 2 bathrooms. All beds had their own power socket on the bedside. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. 3. Location was excellent if you wish to walk to Pasar Payang. Just a 5-minute walk across the road to Pasar Payang.

Maybe more chairs or a sofa at the common area. But the empty space was nice though, because we could sit around while playing card games, chit chatting and have snacks like an indoor picnic on the floor.

Room is huge. There are 2 double bed within an enclosure (traditional wood carving wall and sliding door, with heightened wooden platform), separated from common room which has TV, another air conditioner, work station, table and chair for 6 - 8 people. There are also microwave and water heater. This room is very suitable for a small family. Location is also a plus size, it is within a walking distance to Pasar Payang, Masjid Negeri, Kampung Cina and Jetty for river cruise.

The only downside for this hotel is parking. There is no dedicated parking, and the parking available is under municipal council, we have to pay separately and might be compounded if parked over time limit.
