This hotel is the true definition of old but gold, located in the heart of the city. Most nearby attractions are within <5 mins walking & only a drive away. Besides, given my guests list, the room that I've chosen was perfect and staffs also assisted whether we would like to choose between types of beds and either smoking or non-smoking rooms. Basement carpark also got sufficient space. Check-in/check-out process was smooth & for me, our breakfast experience also very good. Staffs were very friendly too & no wonder for years people always recommended this hotel

Only for the toilet part because typical southeast asians like us always prefer a toilet equipped with water hose rather than only bidet type like the one in the hotel room hehe😬

The location and price is good, grab is easy to get. The room is spacious, and comfy. My family just had a short stay in Miri as we only want to see the famous 'Gua Niah', it's a must place to go if you decide to go to Miri. Unfortunately, mostly the locals didn't go there, so it's hard to get information about it. Restaurants are nearby, some are morning food stalls and restaurants, and at night, there are lots of hawkers restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately, the thing I didn't like is the smell of the carpet, not enough tables, no place to put our things.

Breakfast was good.. many choices buffet. My room included with breakfast so it's worth it. The bed and room space also very big. Location very strategic. Very near to shopping mall, cafe pub. Also eatery place just across the road.. its my 1st choice hotel here for the basement car park especially. I've been check In here few hundred times already since teenager with my parents. Now I already have my own teenager kids I'm still choose this hotel

I understand the hotel was quite old so it was expected. But for near future I hope they will get major upgrade especially their bathroom/toilet getting moldy. The flushing toilet pressure also very low nowadays. My last visit was horrible as I got connecting door with the next room. And the guests room are bloody loud until 2-3am I almost complain to the security but my husband said be patience. Luckily they only stay for 1 night. So avoid connecting door if u only stay at 1 room. U can hear them like they are in the same room

Room upgraded to junior suite cause the room that we booked earlier was not available. The room was spacious and clean, NO odd smell even though its an old hotel. Comfy pillow and bed. Water pressure is good too.

We requested for baby cot, the staff already take note and inform us he will ask the staff to send the baby cot to our room. Unfortunately when we return back to the hotel there was still no baby cot so we called the receptionist and he said housekeeper went back home already and no one can send the baby cot to our room but The baby cot is still available btw.

The counter staff not that friendly but efficient handling quite number of customer check-in process. I know on that particular day, the hotel was full house of guests. I do understand on some issue of check in procedure with the quests. And also, on that particular date the 1 out of 3 lift was out of service & i'm sure the issue being addressed to the management. When 2 out of 3 lift can operate with the full house guests & event on going had me waiting like 5 or more minutes either from level 14 to ground floor or ground floor to level 14. It's kinda frustrating too because you have to waited so long for the lift.

First impression, is the Friendly and accomodating receptionist and I am pleasantly surprised with my birthday cake and my birthday card from this hotel! The staff have a good attitude attending to our needs. Comfortable bed! We had a restful sleep at night. The breakfast buffet have delicious varieties of food. 10/10 will come back!

They need to fix our room door, as the door tends to slam loudly at room 1315. The pool need to be cleaned properly, the crust at the pool not a good sight.

Lord, I can't pinpoint things that I like because this hotel is amazing?!! From the receptionist, to the HUGE room, to the BATHTUB to the breakfast in the next morning. I had a very good rest while I'm at the hotel, truly spacious and extremely worthy of your money. The location? You can walk to permysuri mall in 10 mins, or if you fancy local stalls, it is like 10 steps to Wireless Walk. Also got parking for in-house guest.

Great location! Room is extremely spacious, deluxe room can fit up to 3 pax with one double bed and a single bed. Breakfast is OK,

Quite dated. A little refurbishment is needed, or deep clean (especially the toilet, bathtub and carpet!). But for a hotel that is the same age as me, it’s holding up quite well. No lift from the basement parking, and ticketing machine wasn’t responsive - you’ll have to call for the guards to sort it up.

Everything from the room size to the bed size and the breakfast was to satisfaction!!! For the price. Incomparable with other hotels. Breakfast never disappoints. Always my choice when going to Miri

The room we got was in the 16th floor. Maybe seldom used. Carpet was visibly old and a bit unkempt. Other than that it was good. Aircon was a bit not as cold as we wished it was but then again good thing it was a 1 night stay.

The breakfast was nice.

When the lift suddenly got jammed. It stops for a while. We press the button to ring for help. 😫 No respond! Suddenly, the lift opened. None of the staff trying to attend us. So upsetting.
