Beatiful beach with soft sand, lovely to walk/run along and we also did some free yoga classes on the beach too. Amazing beds and pillows, slept really well every night. We stayed in Chalet 8 which was walking distance to pool, breakfast and beach. The resort is beautifully maintained and the staff were very friendly. Bubbles at breakfast at CBA was a great touch! Buffet breakfast at the Spice Cafe was delicious, lots of variety and choice and well organised. The location is fantastic, Cenang beach is stunning and you can continue to walk along the beach out of the resort and find some nice beach bars, lunch spots and restaurants all along the public beach areas. Tip for solo/group female travellers: we had some problems with taxi drivers trying to rip us off. Walk out of the resort, turn right and walk for about 10 mins. You will find a small stall with a sign that says 'taxi stand'. There we met Mr Abu and Mr Fendi who were very polite, knowledgeable, punctual and gave us reasonable prices. The took us to all the places we wanted to visit on the island and we felt we were in very safe hands the whole time.

There were no mosquito nets and we did get bitten quite a lot one night. It would be nice if there was some sort of drinks package as the cocktails were extortionate. Rules also seemed to be different for different guests, my friend wasn't allowed to smoke/vape at the CBA bar even though it was outside, but later we saw other guests smoking and nobody said anything to them.

We had a super room which over looked the beach. We had breakfast every morning of our stay in the Spice Restaurant, the range of food items available was outstanding. The team at the hotel are so polite and welcoming & all of them greet you with a smile if they see you at the resort. The entertainment at the CBA bar at night was outstanding, we loved the band and it was so great that they were on every evening of our stay.

Only thing, I would suggest is that Pelangi Team look at how they market their own restaurant and entertainment offer. We only knew about the Buffet offer on our last night and it was amazing. Also only found out about the entertainment due to being at the bar when they started.

Beautiful, recently refurbished (cascade pool still under construction) big resort, long stretch of private beach in front of the Malay styled villas. Nice scenery. Staff was very helpful and kind. Big rooms with great beds, large bathrooms. Two good restaurants (Grill and Spice Market). Nice swimming pool. Walking distance from the food stalls, shops and beach bars. Impressive breakfast buffets in both restaurants.

Coffee needs improvement, both in the rooms (only instant powder) and during breakfast (old machines). Same goes for the juices during breakfast (just cheap sweet lemonade). For a 5 star resort, I expected barista coffee and fresh juices.

overall it was great experience for the second time. our room was upgraded from beach view to seaview. i did not request for extra bed but it was already prepared in the room. we enjoyed the stay to the max especially my son with the pool and the beach. the beach was clean and sun set view was amazing. all staffs are friendly and nice to us even the garderner. langkawi people are mostly very nice. the hotel lobby, cafe was renovated with more modern concept and looks nice. will definitely be my resort of choices if i come to langkawi again.

the check in process was so slow, im not sure why but the staff said they were very busy and outnumbered. i felt like the concept or checking in while waiting at the sofa(waiting area) was not so efficient. faster if we check in direct at the counter. breakfast was great but not so much varieties

The beach was ok and the location excellent for my needs. Pantai Cenang is within walking distance. I rented a scooter to tour the island and my personal research. The beach front chalet was less than anticipated and needed some renovation. We had to change rooms due to leaks from a thunderstorm and some ants (common in the tropics). The swimming facilities are good, especially for families with children. Some facilities were not available due to renovation and staffing. The breakfast was adequate and diverse, addressing the cultural differences of the clients. The restaurants in the facility were convenient but overpriced for the quality. Staff and housekeeping were excellent.

My accommodations needed some renovation-we had to change rooms due to water leaks in some of the electrical lights in the bathroom due to thunderstorms. Food overpriced for the area, perhaps trying to accommodate too many types of cuisine. This may be due to the effects of the pandemic on the island.

the room is super spacious with an amazing beach view from the balcony. the kids enjoyed the pool with the water slides. breakfast was great with good selections of local and western food. location is strategic, very close to the airport and numerous local restaurants. the property is huge, so most of the time we had to use the buggy to get around, but the buggy service is excellent. it was a busy time when we visited but the chalet always feels super quiet.

the beach was not the best due to the proximity to a lot of water sport activities on cenang. the water does not look very clean, it was brownish colour so we didn’t dare to step in. the beach doesn’t feel very private as it is open to the rest of cenang, and we did expect a private beach at this price point. we ended up just using the pool instead.

Great facilities, two pools and lush greenery. Great breakfast. Good in-room and restaurant dining options. The location is great, very close to the airport and a bustling street full of restaurants and shops, so finding alternative places to eat is very easy unlike some other resorts.

Unlike the bright reception, interior and exterior of the chalets were a little too dark for my taste. So much so, that even in the bright days, the room needed light, the dark brown wooden chalets just made everything too dark. Beach had geo-bag like objects during my stay (late April - early May 2023), so it wasn't so accessible. Buggies are needed to go to and from rooms, so at night time there could have been more Buggies on hand. Also, remarkably thin walls in the chalets, so much that you can even hear a pack of crisps being opened in the next room!

overall so far so good !

It feels like the hotel staff here have a double standard system! Why do i say that? Bcs Foreigners and I checked in at the same time, their staff was very welcoming to foreigners, even handed them drinks and towels, on the contrary, as Malaysians, they ignored us.... We are paying the same as foreigners , and the service you get does make a big difference! disappointment….

the environment is clean. staffs are helpful and friendly, they provide buggy to move around

I like the room, not really a fan of the lake view tho, also, im actually disappointed when they didn't inform me first that they upgrade my room to the lake view just because the normal ones are full, if they upgrade and didn't charge more im fine, but they charge me extra, and they didn't inform/call/email first before they charge which really surprise me. It's a good thing I have budget to add on that, but for those who are on vacation with budget limits, will have to make it clear to them that this is no acceptable. Everything is fine, but I do feel the PIC need to inform before charging extra and only then inform.

The staff was excellent and location is perfect. Buggy services were good.

Had a beach front room. The windows and the balcony door had huge gaps. Hot air from the outside didn't let the air-conditioner cool the room. Despite two A C's the room was hot. Rooms looked dated. I don't want to sound negative but the room was not value for the money paid.
