The property is located on a secondary street, but quite close to the main public transport stations (ferry, bus). The employees were helpful every time. We stayed in a room with a balcony that was facing an interior shaft, so it was not exposed to the street noise. The breakfast was good, every day they had some small variation on their breakfast offer.

Although the room was not exposed to the street noise, the walls were very thin and when the neighbour’s door would close at 2am, the walls were shaking. So, each night we would wake up when the neighbor would arrive in his room. We were missing a way to hang our clothes to dry on the balcony.

We stayed at Mr Todd, which was a nice smaller hotel. Our room was modern and clean and it had a small balcony. Breakfast was great! We liked that you could also enjoy it outside. Staff was nice. Location was quite good as well, near the Sliema ferries and walking distance to other side of Sliema and many restaurants and shopping places near. For beach we walked to the other side of Sliema, there were not so good swimming spots on this side. Overall we were happy with our stay and thought that this was good value for our money.

Sound proofing could be better but it didn't bother us that much.

This hotel is ideally situated in Sliema. Not on the main boulevard, which means not as much traffic/noise, but a mere 2 minute walk to get to the hussle and bussle of the boulevard. Our room was on the 6th floor at the back of the hotel, which meant it was super quiet (only a church bell could be heard). Large room with extra pullout chair. Safe and little fridge available which were a welcome bonus. Bathroom large as well. Unfortunately, it did get quite hot in the bathroom because there was no window which we could open. The aircon in the room did help a little, but only when the door of the bathroom was left open. One of the twin beds had some issues with springs sticking out. This made for uncomfortable sleeping. The other bed creaked, making a lot of noise. This was mentioned to the front desk and dealt with promptly. Room otherwise fine and clean. Breakfast was fine. Lots of sweets, but also bread, croissants, fruit (salad), scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, cereals, yoghurt and more. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we really liked this hotel for many reasons. We would definitely choose Mr Todd again if we went to Malta.

Hotel has a really good location ,nearby are restaurants,cafes, stores,bus station and ferry stop ,all is very close to the hotel so I give it 10/10 for location.Room was spacious and very clean,ours had small balcony,adapter for charging, fridge...all in all no complaints regarding room too,the bed is maybe a bit smaller but it's not much of a problem for me ,I found it to be comfortable for sleeping.Didnt have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that.The room was cleaned daily.So overall I don't have much complaints and was very satisfied with room and hotel in general, except there was some mix up with payment,I usually always pay with credit card but since more convenient this time we paid with cash and I admit I didn't notice how much the guy working on reception returned me,so maybe my fault too not to check it correctly too ,so there was this mix up when he returned me more then he should, so the next day he woke us up way too early to resolve that matter ,so I think it was about 7am or something similar to that time when he knocked on the door, including knocking in the night around after midnight so ,that's something I would prefer to be handled differently by the stuff.So that could have been handled differently with message on booking site or phone or on the last day or some notice in the room ,so in whichever other way then this, this was way too early and there was no need for early morning waking up.But apart from that hotel is quite good and solid and would definitely recommend it.Good value for money.Would return.

Highly recommend staying in this hotel. They attend our request to check-in earlier, we got a very good room with big windows. Breakfast is very good. We stayed at Lady Todd, which is very close to main street but also very quite, so we could sleep very well. The mattress was very comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Everything was great, totally worth it for quality-price to stay in Sliema instead of Valletta.

This is a very comfortable hotel, in an excellent location. The staff are first class. I felt very well looked after. The quality and variety of the food at breakfast is very good. Check in/out is very efficient. The whole hotel is meticulously clean and has a cool, modern look. There is a sister hotel just up the road called Lady Todd, which has a cafe that has amazing home made food. The guy that runs it gave me useful information on where to eat out at night. Top tip for eating out is a Maltese restaurant within a short walk of the hotel, called Ta' Kris. The food is insanely good and very good value for money. I highly recommend Mr Todd Hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a good neighborhood, close to the ferry to Valletta, a several bus lines. It was clean, and the staff very helpful. We had no problem, with check-in and check-out, we could left our suitcase there. The breakfast was simple but good. I think the overall value/price ratio is good, if you don't expect too much this hotel is good for a short stay.

Our room (standard) was quite small, I would rate 3 stars instead of 4. The breakfast placed in the reception area, which could be crowded if there are more people. The scrambled eggs was the worst I have ever eaten, otherwise everything was ok with the breakfast, I would have welcomed some oatmeal, which I have missed.

I was put into another building which was actually like an upgrade. I had a great, large room on the top floor with balcony and that was way better than the room I had during my last stay here. They also gave me breakfast as compensation with was a nice add-on.

The aircon is very strong - which is good - but it directly blows onto the bed. Even with the lowest level of fan and 23 degrees, I woke up with a soar throat every morning. I ended up putting underpants on it to reduce the immense flow of cold air.

We choose the hotel based on the previous reviews and it totally meet our expectations. Super friendly staff, the room was cleaned every day and the breakfast was good. Because i have read some comments that there id no hairdryer, i can confirm that there is one. The bus station is really nearby.

Location, the offer to arrange taxi transfer to and from airport

The walls between rooms are made of "paper"(you hear completely everything what your neighbors are doing e.g. snoring, showering,talking, coughing, watching tv, having sex and so on), we get the room which stinked after mould and there was a mould on the whole wall behind our bed - we asked for a exchange and the hotel gave us other room,but our first impression was damaged already although the staff tried to be helpful. Breakfast ok,but nothing special,but the coffee was very good.
